The focus of this article is to sort through the myriad of options on larger slates and find not only some solid foundational plays but also some spots that could go overlooked. We focus on stacks that are solid for small-field and SE as well as overlooked spots for large-field GPPs, and we discuss players that have good past history vs. the pitchers they’re facing. FIVE DFS MLB Stacks
Los Ángeles Dodgers
Maybe an obvious choice on this smaller slate, but they’re worth it. David Peterson hasn’t quite been Him yet so far (6.14 ERA and 1.84 WHIP through three starts), and this is a spot where we can attack the pitching as Los Angeles as a team is hitting .325 against him in 114 AB with a OPS of .911. Game total of a solid 9 and the Dodgers are solid -160ish favorites at home. Shohei Ohtani, Teoscar Hernandez, and Andy Pages should be your first choices here.

Boston Red Sox
Even with Boston’s offense not being that solid so far this season, attacking Bailey Ober here in the earlygoing is something I want to keep doing as he’s got a 5.27 ERA through three starts. They should be decently owned, but that doesn’t concern me a ton as I’m fine going with the upside they’ve got against him. Wilyer Abreu and Willson Contreras should be where you begin.
New York Yankees
I always like attacking Yusei Kikuchi as he rarely shows a ton of upside and he’s able to be gotten fairly frequently, and the Yankee offense is perfectly set up for some overweight tournament exposure tonight given their ceiling. The game total of 9 matches a couple of other games as the highest on the slate as well. Aaron Judge is heating up, and Giancarlo Stanton and Ben Rice are my other favorites to begin your stacks.

Athletics
I love the tournament upside that the Athletics have tonight. They’ve got a number of players with pop who haven’t quite gotten it going yet, and if there was ever a time to go after Nathan Eovaldi, it’s now: his 2026 has been a disaster so far (a 7.98 ERA and 1.84 WHIP, though to be fair his last start was a quality outing, so it’s possible he just had some bad luck in his first two). Still, I like being overweight on them in MME tonight. Nick Kurtz hit his first HR of the season last night, and he and Max Muncy are my favorite starting spots here.
Atlanta Braves
Similar to the Athletics, I’m happy to go after a good pitcher who is struggling, and Eury Perez fits that bill, allowing nine earned runs through 18 innings thus far. Atlanta’s offense has woken up after a slow start and have scored the sixth most runs in all of baseball. Start your mix with Matt Olson and Drake Baldwin.
