The Correlation Matrix shows how strongly players tend to score together — linemates, power-play unit-mates, and pairings that produce in the same games. Hockey DFS is a correlation sport, and this puts numbers on relationships most players are guessing at. If two players score together far more often than their individual rates suggest, they belong in the same lineup, and this is where you find those pairs.
