The NHL optimizer runs in Main or Backtest mode across DraftKings and FanDuel, building lineups from the slate's player pool and our current projections. Hockey lineups live and die on stacking, so the combination rules matter — keeping linemates together, pairing power-play units, and correlating with a goalie on the other side. Backtest mode lets you run a set of settings against past slates before trusting it with real entries.
