Big and small, we do it all!

Congrats guys, it was another great weekend in the DFS Army.  And would you look at that…our third $100,000 winner since July 7th.  Crazy!  bv6211 has been on a crazy hot streak, winning over $190,000 this MLB season over multiple contests.  You can check out his and other members’ big wins right here!

Cash players – 8/6/2018

Charlie Morton (HOU P: $9,800 FD | $11,100 DK) – There’s a bit of weather risk out there today, so why not go with a solid pitcher in a great matchup at one of best pitcher’s parks in the league?  Morton’s 3.19 carnage rating is among the best, as is his 504 KSCORE, -150 moneyline, and 3.17 implied runs.  A nice bonus is the fact that the current Giants roster has had very little success against him, and they haven’t seen him yet this year either.

Ben Zobrist (CHC 2B/OF: $3,300 FD | $4,700 DK) – This entire offense is in play, but I’m going to give the nod to Zobrist who will get cheered on by the locals for his World Series contributions a few years ago (I probably will be, too!).  Narratives aside, he’s hitting .519 wOBA and .350 ISO against righties while Junis is allowing .446 wOBA and .243 ISO to the left side of the plate.  He’s a solid play today as a one-off or paired up with almost any other Cub for a two-man cash stack.

Marcell Ozuna (STL OF: $3,200 FD | $3,900 DK) – Another offense in a good spot, Chen is allowing .362 wOBA and .222 ISO to righties while only striking out 17.4% of his batters.  Ozuna is hitting for a massive .637 wOBA (.591 xwOBA) and .500 ISO against lefties while only striking out 9.43% of the time.  The Cardinals have 7 righties in their lineup today and you could grab pretty much anybody else from this offense for a two-man cash stack if you want.  They look to be a nice GPP stacking option, too!

Like what you see here, but wish you could quickly find more batters in good spots like these ones are?  I upload a list of every batter that meets the requirements I’m looking for, every single day, and today’s list has 38 batters on it.  Everybody gets a few here, but our VIPs get the rest!  That list also has a breakdown of every tier for the DraftKings Tiers slates.

Alex Avila (ARI C: $2,200 FD | $3,300 DK) – Don’t know what catcher to take today?  Here’s one!  Avila is hitting .376 wOBA and .200 ISO against righties while Arrieta is allowing .400 wOBA and .205 ISO to lefties.  He doesn’t have to do much to pay off his salary, but I like him to have a pretty decent game today.

Nelson Cruz (SEA OF: $3,900 FD | $5,200 DK) – The Mariners have a healthy 5.89 implied runs tonight, and I expect Cruz to be right in the middle of all the fun.  He’s hitting .452 wOBA and a whopping .667 ISO against lefties, while Perez is allowing .356 wOBA and carries a 6.24 carnage rating.  He would pair nicely with Zunino (they both have good BvP against Perez), and he’s also my choice for Tier 2 on DraftKings Tiers tonight.

David Dahl (COL OF: $3,000 FD | $3,500 DK) – When life hands you a consistent lead-off hitter at Coors for this cheap, you just say thank you and move on.  He just came back to the action yesterday, so we don’t have any recent numbers for him, but sometimes we can overlook that.  This is one of those times!

And that’s going to do it for today!  As always, be sure to check out the rest of our MLB content today, and be sure to catch up on some of our NFL articles as well.  Speaking of which, our prices will be going up next week for the NFL season, so now is the time to jump on board if you’re still on the fence.  Just be sure to use promo code NILLY to get 10% off your monthly membership.  Until then, good luck today, and see you all again on Friday!
