The basics

Cash players – 8/27/2018
Patrick Corbin (ARI P: $11,100 FD | $11,500 DK) – We have two good options up top today, but I give the slight edge to Corbin. Let’s take a quick look and see how they compare:

Truth be told, both are great options and you could go either way. They have both seen their opponents several times this season and have performed very well every time. The important thing to note here is that these two are by far the safest options for cash today, and one of them should be at the top of your cash lineup(s) today.
Josh Reddick (HOU OF: $2,900 FD | $3,400 DK) – “Triple threat” batters are my favorite, especially when we get them at a reduced price. To start, Reddick has 5 hits in his last 7 games and has been hitting for .358 wOBA and .214 ISO against lefties for the last couple of weeks. He faces Anderson today who has allowed .358 wOBA and .292 ISO to lefties, with a very low strikeout rate of only 12.80% over his last 5 starts. The icing on the cake here is that Reddick is 4 for 4 with one home run against him, and while that is a small sample size, it’s enough to tell us he has no problem seeing the ball as it’s delivered. Fire him up!
Billy McKinney (TOR OF: $2,800 FD | $3,900 DK) – McKinney is still fairly affordable, though probably not for much longer. He’s been on fire in the majors, with significant fantasy production in nearly every game since August 18th. He’s hitting .600 wOBA and .524 ISO off of righties too, while Hess has allowed .341 wOBA and .2433 ISO to right-handed batters. This looks to be another great matchup for McKinney to continue his hot streak.
Like what you see here, but wish you could quickly find more batters in good spots like these ones are? I upload a list of every batter that meets the requirements I’m looking for, every single day, and today’s list has 30 batters on it. Everybody gets a few here, but our VIPs get the rest! That list also has a breakdown of the Tiers and QuickPick slates.
Luke Voit (NYY 1B: $2,000 FD | $3,400 DK) – Another good value option, Voit has been on fire recently, with solid fantasy production and 11 hits in his last 8 starts. He’s hitting .785 wOBA and .792 xwOBA against lefties over that span, and while Rodon’s numbers aren’t the most enticing to attack, he does carry a slate-worst 6.31 carnage rating today. For how low his salary is (especially on FanDuel) he won’t have to do much today but certainly has the capability to far exceed the value we’d want out of him.
Wilmer Flores (NYM 1B: $3,300 FD | $3,900 DK) – Like the others today, Flores offers a lot of positives at a reasonable price. He’s hitting a decent .344 xwOBA off of lefties, but his real draw is his history against Lester. He’s 5 for 13 with 3 home runs in this matchup and gets him at Wrigley today with some heavy winds blowing out to left-center field. Did I mention that Lester is allowing .431 wOBA and .250 ISO to righties over his last 5 starts?
And that’ll do it for today!
