Welcome back to another great season of MLB coverage by your friends at DFSARMY.com!! 2018 promises to be a great year of content, tools, projections, optimizers, coaching, and best of all………winning. We have revamped our spreadsheets and added more sport-specific stats for you. Also, we have added coaching and contributors along with adding features to our already industry-leading optimizer, The Domination Station. We look forward to helping you make this your best MLB season yet whether you play on Fanduel, Draftkings or several other DFS sites.
Introducing our MLB Coaches –
@Choppodong hails from twitter and youtube where he has made a little name for himself by coaching the newest players up from zeros to heros. Not concerned with ownership, stacking, and all the other catch phrases, Chop simply teaches our players how to manage their bankrolls, select the best contests, and get up and running quickly when it comes to building competitive lineups that can take down the sharks.

@BoomersDaddy comes from somewhere south of the Mason-Dixon line, has 2 live finals under his belt, and has headed up our projections from behind the scenes as well as led our podcast, The Daily Dispatch, from its very first download to the growth it is seeing today. More of a GPP specialist, Keith will tell you his crazy-ass picks always have logic behind them, but Chop will quickly just call him nuts.
@ADotWalsh is a Jersey boy born and bred, but his dream is to call the topless beaches of south Florida home. He will tell you his favorite sport is basketball or baseball, but in reality it’s golf. He just isn’t very good at it in real life. Al has a GPP bend to his advice, but can really tie the logic and balance together when it’s HIS money on the line. If he wakes up before noon, he can do the same for you all summer long, too.
@DFSWeather is our in-house meteorologist and weather guru. Sure, like Loosemeister, he can be wrong more often than not and still keep his job, but Mark honestly makes some bold calls when it comes to weather and how to use forecasts for MLB DFS. Several times last year, he was the only one telling you it was safe to play a pitcher in a game forecast for rain…………..and only maybe once did he miss. Several of our bigger winners owe their pitching selection to Mark’s extra boost of confidence that the rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain.
MLB Free Advice – Weather and How It Influences DFS
@DFSnDonuts recently changed addresses and added kids to his family, so we aren’t sure how closely you should follow him. But, his cash-first style makes us think he can at least balance his checkbook on a monthly basis and help you with yours. Mitch is another subscriber to the Ladder Theory, and helps guide both new and old MLB players to the optimal contest outlay for their personal playing style.
@Mdellagnese is perhaps the rookie of the group and specializes in pitching. His plan is to break down your best starting pitchers on the day when he isn’t out on Cape Cod scouting for real life baseball teams. Yes, he’s a scout. That should translate in being able to tell you what to look for when rostering one yourself………..or he won’t be around long. We don’t carry dead weight in the Army and don’t mind jettisoning the waste out to sea even if it is a coach’s first year. Maybe we just call him ….. Shark Bait oooh ha ha. (Finding Nemo)
Mdell’s latest piece – MLB DFS Pitching Strategies
@Loosmeister joins our staff this year as our game theory and tournament stacking specialist. You really only talk to him if you want to watch your money burn. His advice regularly consists of “don’t be afraid to pee into the wind” or “hey, it could work out.” But, in all seriousness, his mind works a little oppo taco in that he can get you off the herd and give great angles most players won’t be thinking of when it comes to dragging down large GPPs.
@Scottib will be bringing his #DongDetector over from greener pastures this year as he also joins DFS Army as a rookie. I’m hoping detecting dongs is sniffing out home runs rather than playing with bells, whistles, or other assorted paraphernalia from the DFS Army “closet.” But, I guess only time will tell. He may also find himself on a 2-man raft with only one oar by summer’s end.
@xBenjamminx is another castaway joining the team this year. Ben’s claim to fame is the spreadsheet organization of statistical analysis…………..or NumbersNerd for short. We are all numbers nerds when it comes right down to it, but Ben is a special breed all his own. Ben has done periscopes, live streams, and also specializes in shorter slates when it comes to DFS.
