Welcome back to the fastest identifier of value plays on any slate you can find. This list is not the best player per position. It changes daily, but you will find regular players on here frequently because the public refuses to play them and the sites never raise their pricing. These are the names you should familiarize yourself with because you can reach for them again and again. Of course, there is a lot of randomness or variance in daily baseball, but these plays come through more often than you’d think. And, they can give you some very off-the-wall stack ideas, too.
One other thing to mention, you do have to use your head here. Some of these prices have dropped creating the illusion of value where it doesn’t exist. A hitter facing Clayton Kershaw at minimum price might make a very contrarian play, but it doesn’t mean it’s a smart value play. That’s where YOU come in and make that call.

For DraftKings, look for multi-position eligibility and positional scarcity to get the most bang for your buck. Trea Turner (if you are using him) should be your SS today since there is so much value spread around at 2B. Instead of burning your 2B on Trea, you could slot him at SS and pick up a Brian Dozier or Starlin Castro and use 2 value plays instead of forcing yourself to reach for a Chris Taylor at SS because you used up your Turner pick. This is an advantage to DraftKings if you know how to use it. Another example would be to use Trea Turner at SS, Dozier at 2B, then Howie Kendrick in the OF. This gets you 3 2B with value spread over your LU. Again, not an ideal example, but I’m showing you how to spread these value picks around and get the most of their salaries compared to their predicted spots today.
HOOAH!
