STUDS
The Center: Nathan MacKinnon
Have to start here: he’s the highest-upside player in the best matchup tonight. Cash lock and tournament-viable (as is usually the case). Don’t overthink it against a bad Blackhawks defense on the second half of a back-to-back.
The Wing: Dylan Guenther
The Mammoth star keeps getting better with every game; he’s got four goals in his last five games and is on pace for his first 40-goal season of his young (22) career. Ducks’ defense is awful (the third most goals allowed in all of hockey).

The Defenseman: Cale Makar
Makar continues to be the pinnacle of blue liners (he’s on pace for nearly 85 points yet again), and he’s in such a great spot tonight as well.
The Value: Cole Hutson
Goal in his NHL debut last time out and he’s got a lot of hype.
STACKS
The Full: CAR (Aho-Jarvis-Svechnikov-Ehlers)
Always an overlooked stack, and if you’re looking to get off the Colorado chalk, you could do worse than this quartet facing a Leafs team that’s going through the motions and is not good defensively. Can also consider the Canes’ second line if you want to get a little cheaper for some solid upside as well, but these four are my favorite.
The Mini: NJ (Hughes-Bratt)
Five goals and 10 assists between them over their last five games, and while it’s a tougher matchup, the ceiling is nice on this smaller slate. Good choice for a mini stack.
