STUDS
The Center: Connor McDavid
Highest ceiling on this smaller slate, but it makes sense: the Oilers are at home and the Predators aren’t intimidating defensively, plus Edmonton still has the league’s best power play. He’s always viable no matter what.
The Wing: Kirill Kaprizov
Kap has 38 goals on the season (second in the league behind MacKinnon and tied with teammate Matt Boldy, who could also slot into this spot), and his floor/ceiling is so good in any matchup, but particularly here against a bad-overall Leafs team.

The Defenseman: Quinn Hughes
Super obvious, but also super sensible: 60 assists for the fifth season in a row and on a 100-point pace since joining the Wild (including a goal and six helpers in their last five). Should be able to do what he wants in this one.
The Value: Matthew Wood
Four goals and an assist in his last five games; Edmonton’s defense is just not good and he’s cheap.
STACKS
The Full: MIN (Kaprizov-Boldy-Hughes-Eriksson Ek)
Even with the Wild having played yesterday (as did Toronto), this spot is just too good to pass up: tired defensive legs lead to penalties, and Minnesota’s power play (these four plus Zuccarello) is just so good.
The Mini: FLA (Tkachuk-Bennett)
Maybe a little under the radar here, but Seattle is on the second half of a back-t0-back and these two always have an edge to them; they’ve got five goals (29 shots) and five assists between them in their last five games, and on a smaller slate, finding a little edge is necessary.
