Studs and Stacks – December 4
The NHL season is in full swing, and daily fantasy hockey enthusiasts continue to get in on the action on DraftKings and FanDuel. In this article, we spotlight today’s top NHL DFS studs and stack recommendations, focusing on high-upside players and synergistic line combinations that can elevate your lineups. Whether you’re targeting cash games or GPPs, these picks are designed to maximize value and exposure. Let’s dive into the matchups and identify the key players to target.
STUDS
The Stud: Nathan Mackinnon
Maybe a broken record, but he just needs to be played at this point. League-leader in goals, points, and shots.
The Pivot: Morgan Geekie
Hard to look away from the second-leading goal-scorer (20) facing the team allowing the third most goals in the league.

The Low-Owned: Sidney Crosby
Sid is still getting it done, ranking third in the league in goals with 18; matchup is decent, but he’ll go under the radar.
The Value: Nick Blankenburg
Points in four straight games (three goals and two assists).
STACKS
The Full: CAR (Aho-Jarvis-Ehlers-Svechnikov)
As many will gravitate toward the Avs (and rightly so), I like the tournament upside the Hurricanes have; the Leafs just don’t look right and Carolina always goes overlooked offensively.
The Mini: TB (Kucherov-Hagel)
Seven goals and 11 assists between them in the Bolts’ last five games.
