DFS NHL Snipes and Grinders for DraftKings and FanDuel 3-11-25

Correlated Snipe #1 – Dylan Cozens – Drake Batherson – Jake Sanderson

I am incorporating Jake Sanderson into most of my Ottawa builds because he has been absolutely awesome lately and I don’t think he is slowing down any time soon. With Philly being the home team with final change, and with Ottawa being on the second game of a back to back with travel, I actually am preferring Ottawa’s second line here. They also correlate on the top powerplay unit as well, and Dylan Cozens was very impressive in his first game as a Senator. The Flyers have no goaltending, and we are taking the less owned and cheaper option on Ottawa that probably has a better matchup.

Correlated Snipe #2 – Filip Forsberg – Jonathan Marchessault – Brady Skjei

If I am going Nashville, I am almost always going to the Forsberg side of the ice. He is their best player, and can score piles of goals, which we like! Tough concept to understand, I know. I told myself that with this awful year for Nashville that I would never play them again, but alas, here we are. I doubt that they will be a chalky stack here, and Forsberg can break the slate, so I’m in. The Sharks were a bottom 5 team in the league before the trade deadline, and then they traded several key players from their lineup. The Sharks’ defensemen are awful (aside from like 2 of them), and they are barely an NHL ice hockey team at this point. Their young guns are exciting, but this team is going to give up piles of goals the rest of the year, and the Nashville Predators are way past due for a big game.

Grinders:

Oliver Bjorkstrand – 2nd line and top powerplay unit. He is the stone-minimum on Draftkings.

Luke Hughes – Still somewhat cheap across the industry, and has a huge responsibility with a Dougie Hamilton out of the lineup. Top powerplay unit and big minutes.
