DFS NHL Building Blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel – March 12

NHL Building Blocks – March 12

We’re back to a small four-gamer tonight, so there are a few different ways to go here.  Let’s dive in!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines.  These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.

Starting Lineup – March 12
The Goalie
: Dustin Wolf
Wolf (22-14-4 / 2.52 / .915) has been a big reason why the Flames are hanging around the playoff picture in the West (and he’ll gain some Calder votes for it). Vancouver is struggling and Calgary is at home, so on a small slate, I like him in this spot all around.

The Center: Tage Thompson
Five goals in his last five games and in a great game environment.  56 points in 57 games on the season.

The Wing: Clayton Keller
Two goals and seven assists in his last five games and facing an awful Ducks team on the second half of a road back-to-back.

The Defenseman: Moritz Seider
The do-it-all defenseman for the Wings will be needed in both ends tonight as the Wings look to get back into the playoff picture.

The Value: Elmer Soderblom
Still L1 with Larkin and Raymond.

The Stack: DET (Larkin-Raymond-Debrincat-Kane)
The offense in Detroit revolves completely around these four (93 of the Wings’ 179 goals are from this quartet, with the first three all having at least 24 on their own).  This is the best game environment tonight, and I’m leaning toward the home team here.
