DFS Army's Sean Hoy takes a look at today's NHL Slate for DraftKings and FanDuel.

DFS NHL Snipes and Grinders for DraftKings and FanDuel - 11/11/24

Big slate tonight with some juicy spots. Here I will be giving you my favorite overall stack of the slate, as well as my favorite low-owned stack of the night.  There are many ways to attack slates like this, but in general we are sticking to our strategies that we discuss in our Discord. Now, let’s get to stacking

Correlated Snipe #1 – Aleksander Barkov – Sam Reinhart – Uvis Balinskis

I love this home matchup for the Panthers. Sure the Devils have a strong blue-line and streaky goaltending, but the Panthers are just a wagon; especially at home. Reinhart just keeps on scoring a bazillion goals, Barkov is Barkov, and then we can throw in this cheap defenseman (Balinskis) who is on the top powerplay unit. With Florida being at home, I can see Barkov’s line being the primary stoppers against Jack Hughes. That is the beauty of having the last change at home. Barkov and Reinhart are also amazing offensively which is why we are taking them in fantasy, and if they target the Hughes matchup, that is a weak defensive opponent. This stack just makes so much sense, and I am certainly going there.

Correlated Snipe #2 – Jared McCann – Jordan Eberle

The Blue Jackets are back to being the Blue Jackets, which means that their goaltending has been garbage. The CBJ are 0-2-1 on this road trip so far that include losses to Anaheim and San Jose. The Kraken are a real team, with good structure, and I expect their top dogs to eat. The fact that they are at home never hurt anything either. We can easily throw Brandon Montour into any of these Kraken builds. These guys will go low-owned like always, have upside, and are in a great spot. This lousy CBJ roster is finally looking how they are supposed to look.

Grinders:

Pius Suter – Top line for the Canucks and as of right now I am seeing top powerplay unit as well. Crafty little player here.
