DFS Army's Sean Hoy takes a look at today's NHL Slate for DraftKings and FanDuel.

DFS NHL Snipes and Grinders for DraftKings and FanDuel - 11/10/24

Very small slate here with the NHL not wanting to compete with NFL Sundays during the year. I will not be giving my cheap grinders out on a 3 game slate, those will be for our dedicated subscribers who are in our Discord and grinding through my cheat-sheets. There is one chalky smash spot that we need get right tonight, and then some secondary decisions on top of that. Now, let’s get stacking.

Correlated Snipe #1 – Jack Hughes – Jesper Bratt

The Devils are in the best spot possible here, and that is being at home against the worst team in the league, the San Jose Sharks. Hughes and Bratt have really picked it up as of late, and they really shouldn’t be stopped here. We can add Ondrej Palat to the stack as their cheap 3rd line mate that isn’t on the top powerplay unit. We can also add a cheap Stefan Noesen who is on the top powerplay unit, as well as top defenseman Dougie Hamilton. This is not really a spot that can be faded tonight in my opinion, but I guess you never know.

Correlated Snipe #2 – Sean Monahan – Yegor Chinakhov – Kirill Marchenko

Not being a homer here, on a 3 game slate we have to make strong moves, and the CBJ are a choice I am making. The CBJ should be desperate. Despite losing, they have out-shot and out-played the other teams, and the Ducks are not great. The 2 Russians Chinakhov and Marchenko both are very talented with high upside, and have good roles on the top powerplay and top line. Sean Monahan is Mr. Everything for the CBJ, and he needs to be. This is your standard mid-range salary team that is in a good spot.

Correlated Snipe #3 – Joel Eriksson Ek – Matt Boldy

With everyone going to Kirill Kaprizov in this spot, we are going to save some salary with Boldy and his center JEE. These guys both have high upside with Boldy’s ceiling being one of the highest on the slate. We needed to game theory somewhere, and with Chicago being the home team, I think they will game-plan for Kaprizov, which leaves Boldy lurking to score
