NHL Building Blocks – November 26
We’ve got a two-gamer on the docket tonight. Let’s dive in!
The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines. These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.
Starting Lineup – November 26
The Goalie: Connor Ingram
Great spot for Ingram (6-4-3 / 3.61 / .871) as Utah goes on the road against a Canadiens team averaging two and a half goals per game on the fewest shots (under 25) per game in the league. Utah hasn’t been that great this season, but the matchup is solid for them.
The Center: Nick Suzuki
Suzuki is the Canadiens’ leader in scoring (19 points in 20 games), and Montreal has a decent matchup tonight. He’s priced nicely as well.
The Wing: David Pastrnak
Pasta and the rest of the Bruins haven’t had the season they were hoping, but he’s still got a good floor (he leads the league in shots with 89 even though he’s scored just eight times in 22 games), and on a two-gamer, you want to try to lock in some points.
The Defenseman: Quinn Hughes
Last season’s Norris winner continues to impress, averaging a point per game (he leads the team in scoring) while playing nearly 24 and a half minutes a night, and he’ll be needed against a tough and desperate Bruins team.
The Value: Kiefer Sherwood
Up on L1/PP1 with Pettersson and Debrusk for cheap.
The Stack: UTA (Keller-Guenther-Sergachev-Schmaltz)
The Canadiens are giving up a ton of goals and opportunities, and while Utah hasn’t done a ton offensively this season, the upside is here and they’ll be less expensive than some of the other stacks on this two-gamer.
