DFS NHL Building Blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel - November 25

NHL Building Blocks – November 25

11 games on this Monday night, and there are some really nice spots to attack.  Let’s dive in!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature starting spots (building blocks) for your lines.  These are plays that are cash-viable as well as GPP-worthy and can be considered in all contest formats.

Starting Lineup – November 25
The Goalie
: Igor Shesterkin
New York is its usual good complete self, allowing just 50 goals through 19 games, and Shesty (8-5-1 / 2.82 / .914) is also doing what he usually does.  The Blues’ offense averages just two and a half goals per game on barely over 26 shots per, so there is a definite path to success here. Playable in all formats.

The Center: Anthony Cirelli
While there are bigger names in this matchup, Cirelli (six goals and two assists during a five-game point streak) has been sneakily good, and he also plays all three situations, which will be needed in a game that could shoot out; plus, he’s priced down a bit compared to the others.

The Wing: Sam Reinhart
Reinhart has taken over the league lead in goals (16), and he has 11 goals and eight assists during his current 13-game point streak. He continues to be the offensive leader of the Panthers, and they host a Caps team dealing with Ovie’s injury.

The Defenseman: Roman Josi
In consideration in all formats any time he’s on the slate; 16 points in 21 games (to go along with 71 shots on goal and 34 blocked shots).  The Preds are in New Jersey, the team that has scored the second most goals in hockey, so he’ll be needed in both ends to help them keep the game close.

The Value: Eetu Luostarinen
Finds himself up on L2 with Tkachuk and Bennett and in a good matchup.

The Stack: TB (Kucherov-Point)
This game could be great for scoring, and these two are my favorite pieces from the Bolts’ side as they are L1/PP1 together.  The Avs have allowed the fourth most goals in the league, so while they’ll be popular, it will be for good reason.
