It may be NFL Sunday, but we are the NHL goon squad and maybe the competition will be softer today. There is very obvious chalk and then a couple of middling spots. Whoever is in net for the Golden Knights will be the chalky cash game goalie of the slate (Ilya Samsonov). Now, it’s stacking time.

Evan Bouchard is also viable in Edmonton stacks. With Dustin Wolf starting last night for the Flames, I am expecting the Oilers to be facing Dan Vladar. Advantage Oilers. Dan Vladar is very much not good. The Oilers haven’t looked good yet this year, and this rivalry game could set them straight. The Oilers had a tough start last year and then eventually went on a big run. At home against a bad goalie in the battle of Alberta is a great spot for the Oilers.

Correlated Snipe #2 – Jason Robertson – Roope Hintz – Logan Stankoven
Miro Heiskanen is always viable in Dallas Stars stacks. The Stars are at home catching the Kraken on the second night of a back to back where they are coming off an emotional win and flying from Minneapolis. A tired Kraken team who is going to probably start Philip Grubauer is a team I want to attack. Dallas is a good team all around, and this spot is pretty darn good.
Grinders:
Leo Carlsson & Cutter Gauthier – I am pairing these kids together because they are on the same team, same line, and same powerplay unit. These kids are the future of the Anaheim Ducks and they will do have a high ceiling. Also they are good leverage to Ilya Samsonov goalie lineups.
Connor Zary – Just too cheap for his talent level and the pace of the matchup. This kid is an important player for the Flames
