Correlated Snipe #1 – Mathew Barzal – Bo Horvat – Noah Dobson

The Islanders have been having a weird up and down year where their offense has been better, but their defense and goaltending has faultured. This is a good recipe for DFS, and with the recent head coaching firing and hiring, I am excited to see an extra boost of offensive production. The Islanders will be getting a struggling and significantly injured Vegas team who will be on their second game of a back to back. Vegas has 3 options in net, and all favor the Islanders, who are also at home as well. Vegas can either play Logan Thompson in back to back games, play Patera who hasn’t played in nearly 2 weeks, or give Saville his first ever career start. The Islanders players will want to impress their new coach, and they are also fighting for their playoff lives in every game with how crazy the eastern conference wildcard race will be for the rest of the season.

Correlated Snipe #2 – Connor McDavid – Zach Hyman – Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
The Oilers are my other favorite stack of the slate. McDavid and his linemates are the easy way to stack, and the most profitable. That is who I am writing up, and who I deem most profitable. However, Draisaitl whether naked, or with a random Bouchard or RNH, is a more sexy and contrarian play for me game theory wise. If you have to jam in McDavid, I suggest you do so with Draisaitl. Draisaitl is cheap enough that you can make a somewhat normal rest of your lineup. Draisaitl is a scorer that doesn’t get droves of assists normally, so he doesn’t need to be included in a 4 way Edmonton stack. Either way, Columbus’ defense isn’t very good at all, and their goaltending is “mid” at best. That makes Edmonton the best stack on this slate in terms of ceiling and ownership. Eat this chalk, it is the hottest team in the league by far, against one of the consistently worst teams in the league.
Grinder #1 – Zach Benson – He is projected on the top line against a terrible Ducks team. This kid can play, and should fly under the radar with giant Tuch and Thompson there with him.
Grinder #2 – Juraj Slafkovsky – He is too cheap to ignore even if you’re not stacking Montreal. The spot is good, and he is on the top line and top powerplay unit. That is the type of player we gamble on.
