NBA DFS Point Guard Plays:
Spend up: Terry Rozier (DraftKings $8.5k; FanDuel $9.0k)
I like going right back to the well with Scary Terry here, he’s been in great form with at least 53 DraftKings points in three of his last four games and is playing massive minutes. The Hornets will continue to be without LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward, PJ Washington, and Mark Williams. With these guys off of the court this season, Rozier has a 28.0% usage rate and 1.17 fantasy points per minute. The Kings are a good matchup but playing slower this season, I like Rozier in all formats.
Mid-range: Andrew Nembhard (DraftKings $5.2k; FanDuel $6.0k)
Tyrese Haliburton got banged up on Monday night and is going to miss the next few weeks which opens up a ton of usage and opportunity in this offense. I would expect Nembhard to slide over and start at point guard for the Pacers and he gets an elite matchup against this Washington Wizards defense. With Haliburton off of the court this season, Nembhard has a 24.9% usage rate and 1.01 fantasy points per minute. Not to mention, he had a huge game against the Wizards once already this season, he makes plenty of sense as a mid-range option in all formats.
Value: Marcus Sasser (DraftKings $3.9k; FanDuel $5.4k)
I like Sasser a lot more on DraftKings, but he probably doesn’t warrant the price tag on FanDuel, that said… the Pistons will continue to be without Cade Cunningham which will open up minutes in this backcourt for a guy like Sasser. He saw an increase in minutes last night getting around 19 minutes but probably has a potential of 25ish if he’s playing well which we’ve seen him do throughout different points in the season. He’s a great per-minute producer when he’s out there, right around a fantasy point per minute, and has a ceiling if the minutes are there, I think you can do a lot worse as a value piece on DraftKings as things currently stand.

NBA DFS Shooting Guard Plays:
Spend up: Stephen Curry (DraftKings $9.2k; FanDuel $8.7k)
Curry came crashing down to Earth last time out but came into that game in great form. I think he looks good again tonight and had one of his biggest games of the season against this Pelicans team earlier in the year with 42 real points. The matchup doesn’t scare me against this defensive backcourt and if the Warriors want to get things picked up, it’s going to be on the back of Curry. The price tag is nice, especially on FanDuel, I think he makes sense in all formats again in this one.
Mid-range: Jordan Poole (DraftKings $5.9k; FanDuel $6.7k)
I talked myself into Poole as a core play last time out and it was an ugly first half but he eventually got us there. I love going right back to him in this one, especially on DraftKings where his price tag hasn’t really moved and is still sub-$6k. The matchup is also elite against a fast-paced Pacers team that isn’t playing a whole lot of defense. Haliburton being out will help keep this game close as well which maximizes the minutes for Poole. In two games against the Pacers this season, Poole is averaging 39.8 DraftKings points per game.
Value: Cason Wallace (DraftKings $3.5k; FanDuel $4.5k)
This is a play that will probably look worse the longer the day goes on as we get more and more news which will open up other value pieces. That said, as things stand right now, he looks like a solid punt piece if you’re looking to save some money. His minutes are trending up and has seen 20+ minutes in three straight games along with at least 20 DraftKings points in two of three. He’s a great raw talent piece off of their bench as a rookie and can score in a hurry. As I mentioned, I probably lower on him as the day goes on, but you can certainly do worse in this price range.
NBA DFS Small Forward Plays:
Spend up: Jayson Tatum (DraftKings $10.3k; FanDuel $10.3k)
The spend-up options are limited at SF tonight, so let’s ride with Jayson Tatum in a tough matchup against the Timberwolves. The matchup probably lowers his ownership as well which could provide us with some leverage. He’s in great form with at least 60 DraftKings points in three of his last five games and had a pretty decent game in this matchup earlier this season. We’ll have to keep an eye on the injury report for news on Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis, as they both come in as questionable, if either of them are forced to miss, Tatum would see an increase in usage/opportunity.
Mid-range: Tobias Harris (DraftKings $6.9k; FanDuel $7.3k)
Tobias is going to look great here, Philly will be without Joel Embiid again in this one and the matchup is great. Atlanta is a fast-paced team that doesn’t play a whole lot of defense. In two games against the Hawks this season, Tobias is averaging 39.5 DraftKings points per game. He should also see a boost with Embiid out, with Embiid off of the court this season he has a 24.0% usage rate and 1.02 fantasy points per minute. De’Anthony Melton also comes in as questionable which would lead to even more usage if he’s forced to miss. Harris looks great here and is a guy I would expect to be pretty heavy on tonight.
Value: Cam Whitmore (DraftKings $3.6k; FanDuel $4.3k)
Whitmore is very much in the Cason Wallace category of value where I don’t think I’ll actually end up on him, but at this point in the day with value as it stands, he’s worth a discussion. The Rockets will continue to be without Tari Eason and Dillon Brooks again which has opened up decent minutes for Whitmore. He’s played at least 15 minutes in three of his last four and has at least 16 DraftKings points in four straight games. He’s a guy that fell really far in the draft but has some elite raw talent. The DraftKings Domination Station has him projected for 15.7 DraftKings points which puts his point per dollar projection at 4.37x.
NBA DFS Power Forward Plays:
Spend up: Victor Wembanyama (DraftKings $8.9k; FanDuel $10.0k)
Wemby will continue to have his minutes held around 25 minutes, but I think he’s worth a conversation due to his per-minute production as of late. Even with playing 25 minutes per game over his last four games, he’s still averaging 44.8 DraftKings points per game. He gets an elite matchup against the Pistons in this one that just gave up a 37-point triple-double to Domantas Sabonis last night. The Pistons are allowing the 3rd most fantasy points per game to opposing big men on the season. He should be able to do whatever he wants in this one and is an interesting tournament option at the very least.
Mid-range: Saddiq Bey (DraftKings $5.5k; FanDuel $5.8k)
Bey is going to look like a really solid mid-range option in all formats due to the minutes he’s seeing as of late. At least 36 minutes in two of his last three games and with De’Andre Hunter continuing to be out, that should continue here. He’s averaging 29.1 DraftKings points per game in two games against the Sixers this season and with Joel Embiid out that matchup looks even better in this one. With Hunter off of the court this season Bey has a 15.4% usage rate and 0.81 fantasy points per minute, nothing sexy, but playing massive minutes.
Value: Nikola Jovic (DraftKings $4.7k; FanDuel $4.5k)
Jovic had a great bounce-back game last time out and now has at least 29 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. He should continue to start with Jimmy Butler, Caleb Martin, and Kyle Lowry all ruled out again which secures his minutes. With these guys off of the court this season, Jovic has a 33.1% usage rate and 1.27 fantasy points per minute in a small 50-minute sample size… now, that is going to regress, but at least worth noting that the usage is out there for him to grab. The matchup isn’t the best but I think he makes plenty of sense in this one.
NBA DFS Center Plays:
Spend up: Domantas Sabonis (DraftKings $10.0k; FanDuel $10.2k)
Absolutely massive game for Sabonis last night and his price tag didn’t have a chance to change on the second half of a back-to-back, so I like going right back to the well. He has at least 60 DraftKings points in three of his last four games and gets an elite matchup against the Hornets front court. Charlotte is allowing the 2nd most fantasy points per game to opposing big men on the season, he’s going to look like an elite option in all formats yet again.
Mid-range: Jalen Duren (DraftKings $7.0k; FanDuel $7.4k)
Sticking with Duren again in this one, so the same two plays we had written up yesterday! Duren saw just 24 minutes yesterday as the Pistons got blown out in the second half and eventually lost by 21 points, he also had some foul trouble. He gets a great matchup against a bad Spurs team tonight, so this game should remain competitive and give these guys a chance to see their normal minutes. The Spurs are allowing the 5th most fantasy points per game to opposing big men on the season.
Value: Paul Reed (DraftKings $5.7k; FanDuel $5.5k)
As mentioned throughout the article, the Sixers are going to be without Joel Embiid again in this one meaning we should see Paul Reed get the start at the five against the Hawks. Embiid has missed eight games this season and in those games, Reed is averaging 25.75 DraftKings points per game I think he has a decent ceiling as well given how good he can be on a point-per-minute basis. He can be handy which gets him into foul trouble, but I think he looks solid yet again in this one.
