Correlated Snipe #1 – Sidney Crosby – Jake Guentzel
The top Pittsburgh players cannot be happy about losing at home to Philly and their backup goalie. Philly is a somewhat serious hockey team this year, and this in-state rivalry is heating up. In the post-game presser coach Tortarella said that his team had balls, implying that their balls are bigger than Pittsburgh’s. Weird coaching jargon, but Crosby and company have to take note and respond on the road here. Ersson sucks, and Carter Hart has been terrible, so the Philly goaltending shouldn’t be a worry at all. Hockey is just a weird game, Pittsburgh lost a game at home that they shouldn’t, and the coach is talking about testicle stoutness. Time to get it going not only for pride, but the standings as well for the Penguins.

Correlated Snipe #2 – Mark Scheifele – Kyle Connor – Nikolaj Ehlers
Josh Morrissey is also viable in Jets stacks. The Jets are cruising right along this year even without Gabriel Villardi. Vilardi has now returned and looked great. The Hurricanes are picking things up a little bit, but in Winnipeg is a tough beast (especially in Winnipeg). Carolina hasn’t had much goaltending this season, and can’t outscore their problems forever. The Jets have the forechecking and cycling ability to wear down the Hurricanes, and I expect the Jets to be able to score some goals here at home. Ehlers is a great player that is finally getting the opportunity to play with Scheifele and Connor. With Connor being one of the best goal scorers in the league, this line has the potential to be incredibly dynamic.
Correlated Snipe #3 – Nikita Kucherov – Steven Stamkos – Brayden Point
The Lightning got embarrassed got embarrassed and smoked by the Stars in Dallas, and now their pride is on the line in front of their home fans. This is an expensive stack, but they have to be angry with the embarrassing loss last time out. Tampa is a tough place to play, and even though Dallas is a veteran team, they may commit some penalties. Coach Jon Cooper is a guru at finding matchups on home ice, as well as managing his core that hss been in place forever. The top stack is their top line and powerplay unit, which I am always all about.
Grinder #1 – Jake Neighbours – As of right now I am seeing Neighbours still very cheap, and still on the top line and powerplay unit for the Blues. He is playing tons of minutes, including a whopping 20 minutes lately, and is flinging those pucks on goal.
Bankroll Grinder – I am getting the Penguins and Lightning to win as a 2 leg parlay at +235
