Zero to Hero: Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 28

Zero to Hero:  Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 28

Can’t believe it’s almost December!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature a few “safe” foundational plays to build some strong cash lines around as well as to offer any props or straight bets that have some solid potential.  We’re looking for players and teams that have a solid floor and are in a good spot matchup-wise; these will be the building blocks of a booming bankroll.  (Yeah, I alliterized…deal with it.)  I will also provide a recap from the day before and rewind to see if we were on the right plays.  Keep in mind that just like a regular season, the building of a solid bankroll is a grind – it requires patience, mental fortitude, and discipline to weather the cold streaks until things turn around and you go on a heater.

Recap from 11/27
Player builder:  David Pastrnak (scoreless) ✅
Stack builder:  NYR PP1 (one goal and two assists) PUSH
Bet builder:  BOS/NYR ML ❌
Builder Record: 19-18; +1.05 units

THE BUILDER – NOVEMBER 28
The Player Builder
:  William Nylander ($8000 DK/ $10100 FD)
Love Nylander here – leading the team in scoring (12 goals and 15 assists in 19 games) and facing an average Panthers defense on a back-to-back.

The Stack Builder:  TOR PP1
Always a great upside play, and this game could shoot out as neither team is known for their defense and the Panthers are on the second half of a back-to-back.  The Leafs can go off at any time, and you don’t want to miss out on when they do.  Matthews-Marner and Tavares-Nylander are always your pairs; combine/mix for PP1 exposure (and add in Rielly).

The Bet Builder:   VAN/NJ ML (found around +105)
Vancouver ML (facing theDucks ) can be found around -270.

New Jersey ML (facing the Islanders) can be found around -180.
