Zero to Hero: Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 19
Happy Sunday, everyone.
The premise of each article in this series is to feature a few “safe” foundational plays to build some strong cash lines around as well as to offer any props or straight bets that have some solid potential. We’re looking for players and teams that have a solid floor and are in a good spot matchup-wise; these will be the building blocks of a booming bankroll. (Yeah, I alliterized…deal with it.) I will also provide a recap from the day before and rewind to see if we were on the right plays. Keep in mind that just like a regular season, the building of a solid bankroll is a grind – it requires patience, mental fortitude, and discipline to weather the cold streaks until things turn around and you go on a heater.

THE BUILDER – NOVEMBER 19
The Player Builder: Adin Hill ($7800 DK / $8200 FD)
Hill is 8-1-1 with a 2.07 GAA and .928 save percentage on the season, all outstanding figures. The Penguins have been a very good team recently, especially on the defensive side, but they’re also on the second night of a back-to-back, and given the overall defensive prowess of Vegas as well as how well their own offense has been rolling (55 total goals, the third most in the league), Hill should be a strong play tonight.
The Stack Builder: VGK PP1 (Eichel – Stephenson – Stone – Marchessault – Theodore)
Getting the Penguins on a back-to-back and should be chalky. Eichel (who’s averaging over four shots per game), Stephenson, and Theodore core a strong offense that is second in total goals scored and top 10 in power play. Mix in Marchessault and Stone for secondary pieces, and don’t forget about Karlsson, who still leads the team in scoring.
The Bet Builder: BUF ML parlay (found around -150)
