Zero to Hero: Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 18
It’s the weekend!!!! Also Thanksgiving is soon…can’t wait.
The premise of each article in this series is to feature a few “safe” foundational plays to build some strong cash lines around as well as to offer any props or straight bets that have some solid potential. We’re looking for players and teams that have a solid floor and are in a good spot matchup-wise; these will be the building blocks of a booming bankroll. (Yeah, I alliterized…deal with it.) I will also provide a recap from the day before and rewind to see if we were on the right plays. Keep in mind that just like a regular season, the building of a solid bankroll is a grind – it requires patience, mental fortitude, and discipline to weather the cold streaks until things turn around and you go on a heater.

THE BUILDER – NOVEMBER 18
The Player Builder: Artemi Panarin ($8100 DK / $9400 FD)
Nine points in his last five games and in a great spot tonight. Eight goals and 16 assists in 14 games; leading the team in scoring while averaging barely under four shots per game. Solid floor and great upside.
The Stack Builder: NYR PP1 (Panarin – Kreider -Zibanejad – Trocheck – Gustafsson)
Great matchup as the Devils don’t play defense (3.73 goals allowed per game, 30th in the league) and the Rangers have the second-best power play and the lowest goal goals allowed in the league. 10 of New York’s 15 power play goals have come from the players listed above, and the Devils kill penalties at a not-good 77.8%.
The Bet Builder: BOS/LAK ML parlay (found around -105)
BOS ML (facing the Canadiens) can be found around -280.
LAK ML (facing the Blues) can be found around -210.

Mar 2, 2022; New York, New York, USA; New York Rangers left wing Chris Kreider (20) celebrates his goal against the St. Louis Blues with center Mika Zibanejad (93) during the third period at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers defeated the Blues 5-3. Mandatory Credit: Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports
