Correlated Snipe #1 – Connor McDavid – Zach Hyman – Leon Draisaitl
This is the most simple write up of all time. If the Oilers lose to the Sharks, the season is over and it is fire sale time. As of right now this is Edmonton’s top line and top powerplay unit, so that is who I am going with. Make sure to confirm this before puck drop. 2 of the best players in the world that should be wanting to make a statement, against a team that has like a -40 goal differential through 12 games. This is the chalk spot, this is the no duh spot; this is the spot that has to be played in cash games and single entries.

Correlated Snipe #2 – Dylan Larkin – Alex Debrincat – Lucas Raymond
These guys at the moment are both the top line and on the top powerplay unit for Detroit. Detroit has been scoring this year, and Montreal has been conceding a ton of goals. A recipe for success for the Wings. Debrincat has cooled off a tad, but he is still an elite goal scorer, so says the list of the league’s scoring leaders (wow what an observation). Jake Allen has been good this year for the most part, but this goaltending situation in Montreal is super exploitable for me. Detroit has also been historically better at home. With tons of people flocking to the Edmonton stack, semi-expensive high-upside stacks could be great contrarian tournament plays.
Grinder #1 – Jamie Oleksiak – Shot block bonus candidate on the cheap here against the Avalanche who fire the biscuit.
Grinder #2 – Calen Addison – New team, new expectations. I see no reason why Addison won’t have a big role right away. His motor should be going, but this is a total wildcard play.
Bankroll Grinder – 3 leg parlay of DET/MON over 6.5, VAN/OTT over 6.5, and EDM -1.5. I really think this is a safe bet that I am getting at +442.
