NHL 2023 11/5/23 Snipes and Grinders!

Giant slate with tons of games and big action. The discord and subscription with the coaching and cheat-sheets is how to start bettering your NHL strategies. My chalk goalie would be whoever the Penguins trot out there against the Sharks. I like Minnesota at home against the Rangers as a sneaky stack, with how well the correlate. Crosby and the Penguins will be mega-chalk against the Sharks, so navigate that how you will. There are your couple of nuggets, bow let’s stack some lines.

Correlated Snipe #1 – Carter Verhaeghe – Matthew Tkachuk – Oliver Ekman-Larsson
OEL quarterbacks the top powerplay unit for the Panthers, so that is why we are going there. Verhaeghe and Tkachuk correlate on the same line, and rumor has it from Florida beat reporters that Verhaeghe will have a go on the top unit as well. Barkov and Reinhart is the other side of the Florida stack that is super playable, but I am liking Verhaeghe and Tkachuk because they like to shoot. Chicago is not good defensively and their record shows that. Also, their goaltending is shotty at best as well. Florida should just overmatch the Blackhawks in this one.
Correlated Snipe #2 – Auston Matthews – Mitch Marner – Morgan Rielly
Morgan Rielly is logging a ton of ice time and has taken over the top powerplay unit in Toronto with the Klingberg experiment failing. The Sabres are coming off an absolute stinker against the Flyers, and now have to go to Toronto on their second game of a back to back. Simply put, I was wrong about Buffalo, they have been severely underwhelming and I feel bad for those fans. Matthews got back on the right track in his last game, and Marner is simply too cheap for what he provides. These guys are good leverage off of the chalky Penguins.

Grinder #1 – Marco Rossi – Very cheap on DK. I am seeing him as the top center and on the top powerplay for the Wild. This kid is fast, and is finally finding his pace in the NHL.
Grinder #2 – Jacob Bernard-Docker – With the defensive injuries Ottawa has accrued, younger players are having to carry the weight. This guy showed promise last year, and now has a chance to prove himself. He has had over 21 minutes in each of his last 2 games, as well as 12 total blocks in those games. Absolute low-owned plug and play if you need the savings
Grinder #3  – Nick Foligno – Kind of gross here, and he did get a big zero in the scoresheet last game; but, he is on Bedard’s line and top powerplay unit. With that, comes opportunity. He is playing very solid minutes and with his role on the team, he could whack in a goal or get a lucky assist at any point.
Bankroll Grinder – I am doing a 4 leg parlay here. Lightning money-line, Penguin/Sharks over 6.5, Panthers/Blackhawks over 6.5, and the Wild/Rangers over 5.5. This is +1236, so if it hits, tip me!
