Giant slate with tons of games and big action. The discord and subscription with the coaching and cheat-sheets is how to start bettering your NHL strategies. My chalk goalie would be whoever the Canucks trot out there against the Sharks. I also like Montreal catching Arizona on the second game of a back to back, as well as playing their 3rd game in 4 days. There are your couple of nuggets, bow let’s stack some lines.
Correlated Snipe #1 – Connor McDavid – Leon Draisaitl
If you’re going to do it, you might as well do it. This is an interesting lineup construction, but could be unique because people are too scared to go for the gusto. Edmonton has had a nice little break to feel good about themselves after they won the Heritage Classic on Sunday. Conversely the Stars are playing their 3rd game in 4 days, and Oettinger should be sitting after playing the first game of a back to back. Enter the Oilers at home against the Scott Wedgewood led Stars. Wedgewood is a great backup goalie, but he is the backup goalie. The Oilers big boys are slate breaking upside monsters when feeling good and clicking. The Oilers are looking to get going after their incredibly slow start to the season, and it starts with number 97.

Correlated Snipe #2 – Elias Pettersson – Andrei Kuzmenko
The Canucks are feeling themselves after their big win on Tuesday when Pettersson notched a hat-trick. The Canucks are white hot and are buying into coach Tocchet’s scheme of taking pucks away and drawing penalties. The Sharks are simply the worst team I have ever seen, and the Canucks should at least put up a 5 spot here. Pettersson is nasty, the Canucks are hot, the spot is juicy, and on such a big slate ownerships should be watered down a tad. Me likey.
Grinder #1 – Oliver Bjorkstrand – Top line and top powerplay unit as the Kraken schuffle things around. Bjorkstrand already was getting between 15-20 minutes which is pretty solid for a top 6 forward. He is getting the opportunity to unlock Matty Beniers.
Grinder #2 – Ryan Pulock – Mid 20 minutes per game which typically equates to a high floor. Shot block bonus is in effect here. Blocking Ovechkin clappers on the penalty kill.
Grinder #3 – Hampus Lindholm – Pretty much mega chalk at this point with McAvoy suspended for 4 games. Lindholm crushed last year on the PP1 when given that opportunity. Also, Lindholm was already getting over 20 minutes a game. This is just a chalk defenseman that needs eaten, especially in single entry tournaments and cash games.
Bankroll Grinder – I am taking both the Canadiens and Oilers moneylines, as well as Detroit/Florida over 6.5. I am getting this at a cool +574
