Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Mike aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Milwaukee Bucks @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total: 242.5

Vegas Spread: Mil -3.5

We’ll kick this slate off this short slate with the Bucks who feel like they may have someone resting considering the spread is so low. For the sake of this article, I’ll operate under the assumption that everyone is active. Giannis Antetokounmpo was ejected after receiving an extremely weak second technical foul last night, so we can go ahead an ignore his game log coming off one of his best games of the season against the Nets. He’s going to be a top raw option on the slate if we can find the salary for him. Damian Lillard had a really slow first three quarters but picked it up big time when Giannis was ejected, the usage and shots are still there for him, he shot 25 field goals last night and gets a great matchup here. They should get Khris Middleton back after he rested last night, but I can’t imagine playing him at this price tag while he’s still seeing his minutes limited. Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis both make sense in the mid-range on a short slate, they can both score in a hurry and Lopez brings that block upside. We can probably jump off of the Jae Crowder bandwagon assuming he heads back to the bench with Middleton back, but he should still see solid run at a nice price tag. Lastly, Malik Beasley is a fine flyer, the minutes should be there along with the shots as defenses collapse on these main pieces for the Bucks. From the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton has been unreal to start the season and is going to be a guy I like going right back to here. Guards have had big games against the Bucks to start the season and we saw that again last night with Cade Cunningham and Marcus Sasser after Cam Thomas had a huge night last time out. Haliburton has at least 42 DraftKings points in every game this season, so we’re not sacrificing a floor with him either. Myles Turner can be volatile but he’s been a good per-minute producer this season and will make sense in this one, they’ll need his size against a big Bucks team. Outside of those two, it’s hard for me to trust anyone else on this team, Bennedict Mathurin and Jalen Smith had big nights last night and are fine at their price tags. The thing that jumped out to me was the 38 minutes Mathurin saw, so I have a bit more confidence in him, but guys like Buddy Hield and Bruce Brown have been all over the place to start the season.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Tyrese Haliburton

4-star play: Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez, Bobby Portis, Myles Turner, Bennedict Mathurin

Deeper Value: Jalen Smith

GPP Sleeper: Khris Middleton, Jae Crowder, Malik Beasley, Jalen Smith, Buddy Hield, Bruce Brown, Aaron Nesmith

Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic

Vegas Total: 232.5

Vegas Spread: Atl -2.5

Starting with the Hawks, Trae Young is in the Julius Randle boat of not being able to shoot to start the season. He’s shooting 33% from the field and just 27% from three-point range, yet putting up good enough fantasy points. When those shots start to fall he’s going to have some really nice games and is a guy I’ll want to be on when that happens, so I’ll go right back to the well with him in this one. Dejounte Murray has seen his price come up, but for good reason, as he has at least 40 DraftKings points in four straight games, he makes sense in this one as well. Jalen Johnson has started the last two games after Saddiq Bey got a random start, he’s been great with at least 40 DraftKings points in back-to-back games as well. Clint Capela hasn’t done anything special as of late but the minutes haven’t exactly helped him either, which is kind of the struggle with him. For $1.5k less salary, you could go down to Onyeka Okongwu who is seeing similar, if not, more minutes than him and produces at just as good of a per-minute rate. Then guys like Bey, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and De’Andre Hunter are all fine secondary options on a short slate in a solid matchup. From the Magic, they’ll continue to be without Wendell Carter Jr. while Markelle Fultz comes in as questionable after missing their last few games. I’ll operate under the assumption that he misses this one again, but keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed as we get closer to lock. Anthony Black has been starting for Fultz and has been fine, but nothing to write home about. He’s seen 30+ minutes in back-to-back games and will warrant a look in this one. Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs would be the main pieces of the backcourt I want though. Anthony will continue to come off of the bench but has been productive and Suggs will start at a cheaper price tag. We probably see Goga Bitadze start for Carter Jr. again but his price tag is way up right where it should be which takes a lot of value out of him. I would prefer getting Mo Wagner off of the bench who has at least 26 DraftKings points in back-to-back games at a cheaper price tag. Paolo Banchero came down to Earth last time out against Dallas but gets a nice bounce-back spot here and is playing a ton of minutes. Lastly, Franz Wagner is always more of a filler piece to me than a guy we need to prioritize and that stays true here.

5-star play: Trae Young, Jalen Johnson, Onyeka Okongwu

4-star play: Dejounte Murray, Clint Caplea, Saddiq Bey, Cole Anthony, Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs, Mo Wagner, Franz Wagner

Deeper Value: Onyeka Okongwu, Anthony Black

GPP Sleeper: Bogdan Bogdanovic, De’Andre Hunter, Anthony Black, Goga Bitadze
