NFL DFS Main Slate Advice | Picks, Stacks, Strategy Projections for Week 6 | FanDuel

Hello! And welcome to my weekly installment of NFL’s best plays. We had a very solid week 1, and now we moved onto week 2! Thank you for reading this article, which is focused on FanDuel. We will be diving into the best plays from the DFS Army’s NFL Optimizer, aka The Domination Station. I’m Steve, better known as mutt_18 on Twitter (X). Don’t forget to follow me for real-time updates and insights, and keep an eye out for my comprehensive DFS content throughout the NFL season, I do MLB and NBA content as well, exclusively here at DFS Army.

Let’s get to it!

NFL Quarterbacks:

Matthew Stafford ($7,300 vs. Arizona Cardinals)

Stafford comes in as one of my top point-per-dollar quarterback options this week as he is priced back under 7.5K against one of the worst teams in the league. He also has all his weapons back here as Kupp should be a full go this week as well. The Cardinals rank 30th against QBs on the year, allowing them to average 21 FPPG against them. I would stack him with Puka and Kupp, maybe even sprinkle in a bit of Kyren Williams but this is too good of a spot for him to be this cheap.

Tua Tagovailoa ($8,300 vs. Carolina Panthers)

This Carolina secondary is pretty banged up and now get this Dolphins offense that has been firing on all cylinders this year. Tua has all his WR weapons in this one, and I’m expecting this game to be ugly. At this price he has some upside as their RBs are banged up and he could go for another 300+ 3+ TD game here and doesn’t break the bank. This is an absolute smash spot for this Dolphins defense and Tua.

Joe Burrow ($7,500 vs. Seattle Seahawks)

Burrow appears to be back and fully healthy, as we saw last week. He now faces a Seattle secondary who rank 21st against QBs on the year, and that number should be a lot worse if it weren’t for Daniel Jones and the Giants. Burrow looks like he may have all his weapons back as well, but if Tee Higgins misses this week again I’m not too concerned as he’ll funnel more targets to Ja’Marr Chase and his price really didn’t move. Elite upside for Burrow and the Bengals this week.

Running Backs:

Joe Mixon ($7,000 vs. Seattle Seahawks)

Going right back to the well here, as Mixon was featured in this article last week, he had a solid week in all aspects aside from finding the endzone, which he had multiple opportunities to do from the 1 yard line, however, he was unable to cash in and three of those TD’s went to Ja’Marr Chase, but they could’ve also easily gone to Mixon as well. I’m gonna go right back to him as the Seahawks rank 19th against the run including 5 rushing TDs. His price didn’t move and I think he’s gonna go crazy in this game.

Raheem Mostert ($8,500 vs. Carolina Panthers)

This game has blowout written all over it, as the Panthers are banged up and going up against the best offense in the league.  Mostert should have this backfield all to himself this week, with Achane on the IR and Jeff Wilson Jr. still doubtful, he may lose a few carries to Salvon Ahmed but the workload is definitely safe and he has multi-TD upside in this matchup as the Panthers also rank 31st against the run which is good for 2nd to last in the league. Expecting a monster game from Mostert here.

Kyren Williams ($8,200 vs. Arizona Cardinals)

The Cardinals rank 29th against the run through the first 6 weeks of the season. Williams is coming off a down week but now gets a much more favorable game script where he should touch the ball 20+ times and he’ll get all the red zone carries as well. His price has come up due to the matchup but he is one of the safest RBs on this slate with one of the highest upsides as well.

Wide Receivers:

Jaylen Waddle ($6,800 vs. Carolina Panthers)

Waddle is beyond due for a monster game, and he gets another great matchup against a banged up Carolina secondary who just gave up 76 yards to Josh Reynolds and a banged up Lions receiving corps. They now face the hottest offense in the league and this game should get pretty ugly, I know Tyreek will get his as well but Waddle at this price is way too cheap for me to pass up on with the type of ceiling he has in this offense, I think he can find the endzone multiple times in this game.

Davante Adams ($8,300 vs. New England Patriots)

The Patriots just got absolutely dismantled by the Saints last week, and now get a Raiders team riding high after a big win against the Packers last week. The Patriots also lost their top CB last week in Christian Gonzalez and they’ve shown that they are pretty solid against the run per usual, but the way to get them is through the air. I love Davante at this price as he hasn’t really gone nuclear since week 1 and Jimmy G looks for him in the redzone a ton.

Michael Pittman ($6,500 at Jacksonville Jaguars)

Going back to Pittman this week, with Anthony Richardson going to IR and the addition of Jonathan Taylor’s role increasing, people will overlook him at this price. At home in the dome Pittman is an absolute beast and this Jags secondary has been a bit beat up. They’re also coming off a two week trip from London so I’m expecting there to be some jet lag and I think this Colts team and Minshew should be able to sneak one out here with Pittman leading the way in the receiving corps.

Tight Ends:

Logan Thomas ($5,400 at Atlanta Falcons)

Thomas came alive last week, going for 9-77 and a TD and now gets an even better matchup as the Falcons rank 31st against TE’s through the first 6 weeks of the season. They are allowing opposing TE’s to average 16.9 FPPG against them so far and FD didn’t move Thomas’ price this week for whatever reason.

TJ Hockenson ($6,700 at Chicago Bears)

The Bears rank 25th against TE’s through 6 weeks of the season, and Hockenson and this Vikings offense has lost Justin Jefferson to IR so there will be more targets to go around, I think Hock will be the main beneficiary as the matchup is a great one and he feels too cheap in this spot against an abysmal Bears defense who just got torched by Logan Thomas last week.

Dallas Goedert ($4,900 at New York Jets)

Goedert finally got it going last week and I’m looking for him to build on that performance, it also helps that he gets a matchup against a Jets team rank dead last against TE’s through the first 6 weeks of the season, allowing TEs to average 17.2 FPPG against them including 5 TDs.

Defense/Special Teams:

San Francisco 49ers $5,000 – Not a ton needs to be said here, they’ll be chalky but for good reason, they’re facing the Browns and their 3rd string QB in what should be a low scoring game, this defense has been absolutely dominant this year and is the best in the NFL.

Philadelphia Eagles $4,900 – Jets offense is still not great with Zack Wilson at the helm, and although he’s figuring it out a bit the past 2 games he is still very turnover prone and this Eagles pass rush will be getting home a lot in this one so I expect a few turnovers from him in this one.

Houston Texans $3,700 – This Texans defense is severely underrated and honestly, outside of last week the Saints offense hasn’t looked that great the majority of this year, really like them as a value defense in this spot.
