Quarterbacks:

Sam Howell ($5.5k at Atlanta Falcons)

Sam Howell comes in as our top point-per-dollar quarterback option on the week against the Falcons on the road. Howell might have had the quietest 388 yards on the season last week against the Bears on Thursday Night Football. My one worry with the Falcons is their ability to slow the game down and just turn around and give it to Bijan and Allegier all game, but we didn’t see that last week which was a good sign. That said, they still held C.J. Stroud to a modest day. The nice thing with Howell is he brings somewhat of a rushing floor but certainly a ceiling. He has at least 19 DraftKings points in three of his last four games and at this price tag makes plenty of sense, you can stack him up with any of McLaurin, Dotson, Samuel, and Logan Thomas. We have him projected for 18.15 DraftKings points giving him 3.3x his salary.

Geno Smith ($5.7k at Cincinnati Bengals)

Next up we have Geno who had a rough game against the Giants, but they didn’t really need him with how well their defense played. That said, he’s really only had one great game on the season and the Bengals are a middle-of-the-road passing matchup. We know the upside is there from the game we saw against the Lions and from what we saw from him last season and he has some elite stacking options. You can pair him up with any of DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and potentially even Noah Fant who has at least 8 DraftKings points in three straight. We have Geno projected for 18.07 DraftKings points giving him 3.17x his DraftKings price tag.

Joshua Dobbs ($5.2k at Los Angeles Rams)

Dobbs came down to Earth a bit last time out against the Bengals who we just talked about a bit. Prior to that game he had at least 17 DraftKings points in three straight games and gets a solid matchup here against the 22nd-ranked DVOA defense against the pass. I do wonder if their offense collapses a bit with James Conner now out, but this game has a solid implied total at 48.5 and I would expect the Cardinals have to throw to keep up with the Rams. You can stack him up with guys like Hollywood Brown, Zach Ertz, and potentially Demercado who could be the fill-in for Conner and has pass game upside. The Domination Station has him projected for 16.06 DraftKings points giving him 3.09x his salary.

Running Backs:

Bijan Robinson ($7.2k vs. Washington Commanders)

Bijan has been one of the more consistent running backs on the season even with his somewhat of a dud last week with 12.8 DraftKings, we’re probably looking at his floor there. The Commanders aren’t anything special against the run, so Bijan should have no issue taking advantage of his touches. He brings some pass game upside as well ranking 3rd among all running backs in targets and 1st in receptions. This is also the cheapest we’ve seen him all season long. The optimizer has him projected for 18.61 DraftKings points giving him 2.58x his DraftKings salary.

Joe Mixon ($6.3k vs. Seattle Seahawks)

Mixon certainly isn’t the sexiest option on the slate, but the value is certainly there. We haven’t seen much of a ceiling from him this season but he’s going to be out there as he’s seen at least 75% of the running back snaps in four straight weeks. It’s a tough matchup, however, as the Seahawks rank 2nd in DVOA against the run on the season. He’s 11th in the league in rushing yards and we’re getting him at a reasonable price tag especially if this Bengals offense gets going and he can start getting those red-zone looks. The Domination Station has him projected for 15.13 DraftKings points giving him 2.4x his price tag.

Demeon Pierce ($5.1k vs. New Orleans Saints)

Pierce is a good running back, he has the talent, but his offensive line is not doing him any favors. He’s only eclipsed double-digit fantasy points twice this season but it did come in two of his last three weeks but gets a tough matchup against this Saints defense in this one. They rank 5th in overall DVOA and this game has just a 42.5 implied total. The volume is going to be there though, he ranks 6th in the league in carries and has at least 20 in back-to-back games, you can do a lot worse at this price tag. We have him projected for 12.1 DraftKings points giving him 2.37x his price tag, and I do think there is a solid ceiling with him as well if he can bust a few runs.

Wide Receivers:

Robert Woods ($3.8k vs. New Orleans Saints)

Ole’ Bobby Trees will kick off the turds we have in this section, but they’re all extremely cheap. He’s certainly been getting Stroud’s attention though, he has at least 6 targets in every game this season, they’re not deep targets, but targets are targets on a PPR site like DraftKings. He leads the team in wide receiver snaps as well with 263 on the season and is 12th in red-zone targets with 5 on the season. Similar to Pierce in the running backs section, the matchup is tough, but at this price tag, he doesn’t need to do a whole lot. The Domination Station has him projected for 9.45 DraftKings points giving him 2.49x his salary on the week.

Curtis Samuel ($3.7k at Atlanta Falcons)

Samuel has been extremely productive for the Commanders at a cheap price tag. We talked about his quarterback as the top point per dollar play at his position, so you could get an extremely cheap and nicely projected stack here. He has at least 18 DraftKings points in back-to-back games and has at least 7 targets in each of them. Howell and the Commanders are getting sacked at an unreal rate this season, so he will look to Samuel on those quick passes which will rack up those receptions. The optimizer has him projected for 9.19 DraftKings points giving him 2.48x his salary and he’s doubled that projection in back-to-back weeks.

Allen Lazard ($3.7k vs. Philadelphia Eagles)

The big thing with Lazard is trusting Zach Wilson and this offense to actually move the ball, but he’s been at least somewhat consistent on the season. He’s an elite blocking receiver so he’s going to play a ton of snaps with at least 92% of wide receiver snaps in three of their games this season. I would expect the Jets to fall behind early in this game forcing them to throw the ball quite a bit in this game as well which will open up the door for more targets. He’s a huge target as well, so when they get in the red zone expect Wilson to look his way giving him some touchdown upside as well. We have him projected for 9.14 DraftKings points giving him 2.47x his DraftKings price tag.

Tight Ends:

Zach Ertz ($3.6 at Los Angeles Rams)

We touched on his quarterback in that section, so we immediately have a cheap stack on our hands if you need it and what to go with some spend-ups elsewhere. Ertz has been one of the more consistent tight-ends on the season which tells you all you need to know about the position. He has at least 9 DraftKings points in three of his last four games which is more than you can say for a lot of tight ends, so it may be worth just punting the position yet again. He’s 4th at the position in targets and 2nd in air yards on the season. We have him projected for 9.33 DraftKings points giving him 2.59x his DraftKings price tag.

Evan Engram ($4.5k vs. Indianapolis Colts)

Engram has been extremely consistent on the season and brings some upside in what should be a high-powered offense, but has been a bit underwhelming to start the season. He has 8 targets in four straight games and gets a great matchup in this one. The Colts rank 20th in DVOA against the pass on the season, so expect Lawrence and this offense to take advantage. He’s 2nd among all tight ends in targets and receptions, so the floor is there to go with the ceiling we know he has. The Domination Station has him projected for 10.59 DraftKings points giving him 2.35x his current price tag.

Tyler Conklin ($3.3k vs. Philadelphia Eagles)

Conklin is another guy who won’t be a sexy option, but the floor has certainly been there with at least 9.8 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. We talked about Lazard in the receiver section, but I would expect this offense to have to throw a ton in this game to keep up with the Eagles. They’re tough to run on being the 1st ranked run defense in the league which may be due to teams being behind so early, but it’s not like that won’t be the case in this one. You can certainly do worse at the price tag, the optimizer has him projected for 7.59 DraftKings points giving him 2.3x his DraftKings price tag.

Defense/Special Teams:

Cleveland Browns $2.2k – Cleveland is not at $2.2k defense plain and simple, they have some playmakers, but the matchup drives this price wayyyyy down. The Niners can put up points and do it in a hurry, but Cleveland has at least 7 DraftKings points in three of their four games and makes plenty of sense at this price tag if you need to punt.

Detroit Lions $2.7k – This Lions’ defense is much improved from last season and they can get to the quarterback as good as any defense in the league. They have at least 10 DraftKings points in two of their last three and the matchup with Baker Mayfield doesn’t exactly scare me.

New England Patriots $2.6k – The Pats defense took a big hit when they lost Gonzalez and Judon but are still very solid, especially in a matchup against this Raiders team where Jimmy G is prone to make some mistakes and you know Ole’ Bill will want some revenge on his old quarterback.
