Geek’s Core Picks and Value Stacks | NFL DFS Insider Plays | Week 4 Fantasy Football

In this Week 4 NFL DFS analysis, we’re focusing on a pivotal concept: Geek’s “Core Four.” These four core picks represent Ffootballgeek’s absolute favorite plays across all game formats on the main slate, regardless of price or projected roster percentages. Anticipate these selections to play a central role in his cash lineup and serve as a cornerstone of his GPP core strategies (although they may not all align within a single GPP lineup).

For site-specific plays, showdown captains, and more, let’s chat in the DFS Army Discord. Jump in his room, #Geeks-Channel, with your DFS questions weekly. Let’s stack some cash this week!

Geek’s Core Picks – Week 4

Josh Allen ($8200 DK) – Allen has yet to display his ceiling this season. This is where that should come to an end. Favored at home taking on a Dolphins squad coming in hot and at full strength. Fire up Diggs in stacks. Diggs is coming off a game where he comanded a 39% targetshare. I wouldn’t expect to see that again but this has the makings of a game where Allen throws more than his usual mid 30s targets per game. I wouldn’t force double stacks but wouldn’t mind some exposure to Gabe Davis as well.

Tua Tagovaiola ($7400 DK) – Tua has been on fire to start the season. This game has the highest projected total on this slate by far and the Dolphins are slight road underdogs. Waddle should be back for this game giving Tua his full contingent of passing game weapons. Tua with Two of Hill and Waddle is one way to go.

Anthony Richardson ($6700 DK) – Richardson is a fantasy points machine right now. Last week he had amassed 17 fpts in the first quarter!!! He threw 37 passes in week one to go along with 10 rushing attempts. Richardson has the potential to be the highest scoring QB on this slate. I like that the Colts are home for this one. Stack him with Pittman, Downs or even the TE, Granson.

GEEK SPECIAL! – Week 4

Marvin Mims Jr (WR – $3900 DK) – Word out of Denver is they are planning to give Mims more snaps and a more legit role. This is a smash matchup for “Denver Passing Game” so I love the sneaky pivot to Mims at sub 4k salary.

Geek’s Value Stacks –  Week 4

Justin Herbert/Keenan Allen – I think we could get one more week of elite scoring from Herbert before the Ekeler effect kicks in. Over the past few weeks with Ekeler out, all of the team’s TD’s have come via the pass. That has led to elevated outcomes from Herbert and all of his passing game weapons. This only works out well if Ekeler is eased back into action. With Williams on IR, Keenan Allen becomes a must play. He could easily see 12+ targets. Josh Palmer is in line to step in as the WR2. The downside here is the Raiders backup QB situation and the potential for this game to be non-competitive. One where Chargers defense excells.

Kyren Williams with Anthony Richardson/Michael Pittman – Williams with a 100% snapshare last week. 21% targetshare. That’s as good as it gets. Colts Defense has been average vs the run this season. The Rams offense was bad all around last week. Kyren smashed when the Rams won their previous games. I expect that pattern to continue. If the Rams are winning this game, Kyren is probably doing well. Running this stack back with the high floor rushing ability of a young Anthony Richardson under duress late in the game makes sense.  If Richardson isn’t running, his favorite target has been Michael Pittman (double digit targets all three weeks so far)….both are set for some decent garbage time.   All three players should capture large chunks of any scoring in any scenario in this game.

DFS Winning Strategy

These selections encapsulate Ffootballgeek’s utmost favorites across all game formats on the main slate, defying price constraints and projected roster percentages. These pivotal core picks are poised to shine in cash lineups and serve as the bedrock of GPP core strategies, albeit not always converging in a single GPP lineup.
