Milwaukee Bucks @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total: 217.0

Vegas Spread: Mil -7.0

We’ll start with the Eastern Conference where the Bucks will look to avoid going down 3-1 against the eight-seeded Heat. They’re going to get a big boost to their lineup with Giannis Antetokounmpo set to return after missing games two and three. I would imagine he’s a full go and will be without restriction here, he’s going to look like a top raw option on the slate. He’s averaged just 43.7 FanDuel points per game against the Heat this season but mostly due to blowouts as he’s averaging just 21.2 minutes in those games…. that’s over 2 fantasy points per minute which is pretty damn good. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday will take a hit to their production, but on a two-game slate will still be guys that I have no issue getting to. The guy I’ll probably come off of is Bobby Portis who will head back to the bench and take a big hit to his minutes. Brook Lopez came down to Earth last time out and the matchup isn’t the best for him, he’s more of a tournament guy but the price tag is still great. We’ve seen some big games from Pat Connaughton over his last two after not playing in game one. With Wes Mathews still out I would think Pat still plays 20-25 minutes and can get hot from behind the three-point line at the drop of a hat. From the Heat, Jimmy Butler comes in as questionable after falling on his back similar to Giannis, but he was available to return in game three but didn’t due to the score of the game, so we’ll operate under the assumption that he’s good to go here. I think the Bucks may just experiment with putting Giannis on him defensively and just shut him down, so he’s a guy I’ll be underweight on. We saw Kevin Love move into the starting lineup over Duncan Robinson last time out, and I would expect more of the same in this one, Love still only played 21 minutes, but it adds security to his minutes at the very least. Robinson makes sense off of the bench as well, he’s a phenomenal shooter but his defense is atrocious. Bam Adebayo had a solid game last time out and is a guy I have no issue going right back to in this one at a fair price tag. Max Strus and Caleb Martin are going to have to play massive minutes with Herro and now Oladipo out as well, both guys make sense at their respective price tags. Then Kyle Lowry and Gabe Vincent are similar options but you’re probably getting a higher ceiling from Lowry, both guys make sense in the lower range.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bam Adebayo

4-star play: Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Jimmy Butler, Max Strus, Caleb Martin

Deeper Value: Duncan Robinson, Pat Connaughton

GPP Sleeper: Pat Connaughton, Grayson Allen, Kevin Lovey, Caleb Martin, Duncan Robinson, Kyle Lowry, Gabe Vincent

Memphis Grizzlies @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total: 221.5

Vegas Spread: Lal -4.5

Starting with the Grizzlies, Ja Morant had an absolutely massive game last time out and lead this team while everyone else did a whole lot of nothing. He clearly wasn’t hindered by that hand injury and is someone I have no issue going right back to the well with in this one. Jaren Jackson Jr. has been great in this series so far outside of their last game, I don’t mind going back to him but the price tag is certainly up. Desmond Bane, on the other hand, has been pretty disappointing in this series, I’ll continue to be underweight on him, especially with Morant back. Tyus Jones had his price adjusted but still is probably a fade with Morant back in there. Xavier Tillman kept it rolling last time out and is playing huge minutes, I like going right back to the well with him in this one. Then, Dillon Brooks is always a fine GPP option, the minutes will be there and we know he looks to shoot when he’s in there… the same can be said for Luke Kennard and you don’t have to worry about a random ejection with him (somewhat sarcastic). From the Lakers, Anthony Davis and LeBron James look like similar options at similar price tags, both will look great in this one and will play massive minutes. I think LeBron goes into full “F you” mode against Brooks tonight and just tears him apart, he’s a guy I want to go heavy on. D’Angelo Russell bounced back nicely in game three and is a guy I like going right back to in the mid-range. Austin Reaves will continue to see all the minutes he can handle and makes sense in all formats. Rui Hachimura kept it rolling last time out but saw his minutes come down a bit, that said, he’s going to look good yet again in this one. Then guys like Jarred Vanderbilt and Malik Beasley are solid tournament guys to round out the team.

5-star play: Ja Morant, LeBron James, Anthony Davis

4-star play: Jaren Jackson, Desmond Bane, Xavier Tillman, D’Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura, Austin Reaves

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Dillon Brooks, Jarred Vanderbilt, Malik Beasley
