Chicago Bulls @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: NA

Vegas Spread: Was -1.0

We’ll kick off this slate with the Bulls, DeMar DeRozan comes in as questionable, so keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates as we get closer to lock, but I’ll operate under the assumption that he’s good to go. He left their last game which is why his game log looks so bad but assuming he’s good here, the matchup is nice and makes plenty of sense in all formats. The price tags on Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine have skyrocketed to over $8k on both FanDuel and DraftKings. I can’t say I love those tags, but they’ve both been in great form and would obviously see a boost if DeRozan is unable to go. I think Patrick Williams is fine, but the price tag is right where it should be. Then guys like Ayo Dosunmu, Alex Caruso, and Coby White would probably be guys I’d only be interested in if DeRozan sat as well. Then we get the obligatory Andre Drummond mentioning, I would hope we get better value on the slate, but if he can see 15+ minutes, he’ll crush his price tag. From the Wizards, Bradley Beal will continue to be out while Kristaps Porzingis and Daniel Gafford come in as questionable. Same deal here, I’ll operate under the assumption they’re both good to go. Below is how this team operates with Beal off of the court this season:

I can’t say I love the price tag on either Kristaps or Kyle Kuzma, but the matchup sets up really nicely. Daniel Gafford was bit by the injury bug last time out which hurt his production, but he’s been in elite form with at least 30 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. Then guys like Avdija and Rui Hachimura would see nice boosts if either Kristaps or Gafford end up sitting.

5-star play: None

4-star play: DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, Kristaps Porzingis, Kyle Kuzma, Daniel Gafford

Deeper Value: Andre Drummond

GPP Sleeper: Ayo Dosunmu, Alex Caruso, Coby White, Deni Avdija, Monte Morris, Rui Hachimura

Quick shoutout to VIP member “Cenzamatic” on a massive $20k win last season! Sometimes paying up for double studs works, and Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant brought it home for him with the help of some Stanley Johnson and Pistons value. Good work and congrats man!

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total: NA

Vegas Spread: NA

Starting with the Timberwolves, they’ll continue to be without Karl-Anthony Towns while Anthony Edwards comes in as questionable, so definitely news we’ll need to keep an eye on, but it’s another case where I’ll operate under the assumption that he’s good to go. Rudy Gobert has been in much better form as of late with at least 46 FanDuel points in two of his last three and gets a great matchup in this one. Anthony Edwards has cooled off over his last couple of games but he’s been great with Towns off of the court this season, so if he’s good to go here he’ll continue to look great. D’Angelo Russell is playing massive minutes right now and has been pretty consistent over the last few weeks, I wouldn’t have an issue going right back to him in this spot. Then guys like Kyle Anderson and Jaden McDaniels are solid secondary options at their respective price tags as well. From the Pistons, I would think Bojan Bogdanovic, Jalen Duren, and Isaiah Stewart will come in as questionable here after missing last night’s game. Stewart missing was a bit of a surprise, it felt like he was going to play all day long until about an hour before lock. These three guys are pretty much wild cards at this point, but if any of them miss the rest of this team is going to look great again. We saw Hamidou Diallo lead the team in fantasy production last night and would look great at his price tag again in this one. The rest of the team was tough to figure out as they gave 20+ minutes to nine different guys. Killian Hayes and Jaden Ivey will continue to run the backcourt with Cade out for the rest of the season as well and will look like solid options yet again here. Then guys like Saddiq Bey and Alec Burks would be secondary tournament options depending on who is available from this team.

***The below assumes Bojan Bogdanovic, Jalen Duren, and Isaiah Stewart are good to go, keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates as we get closer to lock***

5-star play: Anthony Edwards

4-star play: Killian Hayes, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jalen Duren, Jaden Ivey, Rudy Gobert, D’Angelo Russell

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Kyle Anderson, Jaden McDaniels, Saddiq Bey, Alec Burks

New Orleans Pelicans @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: 229.5

Vegas Spread: Bos -9.5

Starting with the Pelicans, they’ll continue to be without Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram again in this one. We should see guys like Naji Marshall and Trey Murphy back in the starting lineup. Below is how this team operates with these two off of the court this season:

CJ McCollum has at least 48 DraftKings points in back-to-back games and would be a guy I like going right back to the well with in this one even in a tough matchup with this Celtics’ defense. Naji Marshall has been in great form with Zion out and is a guy I like going right back to as well in the mid-range. I’m not huge on guys like Herb Jones and Trey Murphy although they’ll continue to see big minutes, they’re just not all that great on a per-minute basis. From the Celtics, Marcus Smart and Robert Williams come in as questionable, but I’ll operate under the assumption they’re both full go’s here. Both guys make plenty of sense at their price tags in a nice matchup, Williams’ minutes are slowly trending in the right direction. Jayson Tatum bounced back against the Bulls last time out and makes plenty of sense here as well, but the price is certainly up there. Jaylen Brown dropped 53.5 DraftKings points in this spot earlier this season and makes sense as a tournament option yet again in this one. Lastly, Malcolm Brogdon and Derrick White take a hit with Smart potentially back but still make sense as secondary options in their price range.

5-star play: Jayson Tatum

4-star play: CJ McCollum, Naji Marshall, Jonas Valanciunas, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Trey Murphy, Herb Jones, Malcolm Brogdon, Derrick White

Indiana Pacers @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: NA

Vegas Spread: Nyk -5.0

Starting with the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton feels too cheap here, he’s averaging 47.9 DraftKings points per game over his last five games and this Knicks defense doesn’t really scare me even though they’ve been better as of late. Myles Turner has been in great form as well and the PF/C eligibility on FanDuel is really nice, he’s only center eligible on DraftKings but we do get the UTIL spot over there which makes it easier to get to him. Buddy Hield came down a bit last time out but is another guy who has been in great form. Then guys like Bennedict Mathurin, Aaron Newsmith, and Andrew Nembhard are more tournament options than anything. From the Knicks, RJ Barrett comes in as questionable, but I’ll operate under the assumption that he’s out again, he’s missed their last handful of games. Below is how this team operates with him off of the court this season:

The nice thing with the Knicks is they’ve gotten back to running their starts out there for around 40 minutes per game and get an elite matchup with the Pacers in this one. Julius Randle has at least 54 FanDuel points in eight of his last nine games and will look great even at an elevated price tag. Speaking of price tags, Jalen Brunson has seen his come way up, but when he’s playing these kinds of minutes, he’s hard to ignore. Then Quentin Grimes should continue to start and play huge minutes, but he’s priced appropriately.

5-star play: Tyrese Haliburton, Julius Randle

4-star play: Myles Turner, Buddy Hield, Jalen Brunson, Immanuel Quickley, Mitchell Robinson

Deeper Value: Jalen Smith, Andrew Nembhard

GPP Sleeper: Bennedictu Mathurin, Aaron Nesmith, Andrew Nembhard, Jalen Smith, Quentin Grimes

Milwaukee Bucks @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 232.0

Vegas Spread: Mil -2.0

Starting with the Bucks, they’ll continue to be without Khris Middleton again in this one. They sent Pat Connaughton to the starting lineup last time out but it’s been a pretty fluid position between him and guys like MarJon Beauchamp and Jevon Carter… I would think it’s Connaughton again here, but keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed. Below is how this team operates with Middleton off of the court this season:

Giannis is obviously the top option here in a great matchup with the Hawks. He’s averaging 48.5 DraftKings points per game in three games against the Hawks this season. It was good to see Jrue Holiday get his minutes back last time out as well and will look like a nice option in all formats. Brook Lopez has been in sneaky great form as of late as well with at least 36 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. Then guys like Bobby Portis and Grayson Allen are secondary GPP options. From the Hawks, they’ll continue to be without Clint Capela which means we should see Onyeka Okongwu back in the starting lineup yet again. He’s continued to look good and would be a guy I like going right back to in this one. Trae Young has seen his price tag trend up over his last few games but is still under $10k on both FanDuel and DraftKings and will look like a nice option here. John Collins is another guy who has been in great form with Capela out and this one sets up perfectly for him as well. Then guys like Bogdan Bogdanovic and De’Andre Hunter are fine secondary options to round out this team.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Trae Young

4-star play: Brook Lopez, Jrue Holiday, Dejounte Murray, Onyeka Okongwu, John Collins

Deeper Value: Pat Connaughton

GPP Sleeper: Bobby Portis, Pat Connaughton, Bogdan Bogdanovic, De’Andre Hunter

DFS Winning Strategy

San Antonio Spurs @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: NA

Vegas Spread: NA

Starting with the Spurs, Keldon Johnson comes in as questionable while Devin Vassell will continue to be out. I’ll operate under the assumption that Johnson is a full go for the sake of this article, but keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates as we get closer to lock. Assuming Johnson isn’t limited, he’ll look good at his current price tag in a nice matchup. Jakob Poeltl has seen his minutes trend in the right direction and has been great on a per-minute basis this season, he’s a nice option in all formats as well, although I don’t love bigs against Steven Adams. Then guys like Jeremy Sochan and Josh Richardson are solid regardless of if Johnson plays or not, Richardson has at least 31 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. From the Grizzlies, it sounds like Ja Morant will return in this one and shouldn’t be limited at all. He’s going to look like a great spend-up option, I love targeting guards against the Spurs. Jaren Jackson is averaging 41.2 DraftKings points per game over his last six games and is a guy I like going right back to in a nice matchup as well. The price tag on Desmond Bane has come up a bit but I still think he’s slightly underpriced for his production… the minutes will be there as it seems like he’s almost fully back from injury. Steven Adams returned last time out as well and kept his heater rolling and looks good again in this one with Brandon Clarke out yet again. Then Dillon Brooks is more of a tournament option than anything with this team mostly healthy.

5-star play: Ja Morant, Steven Adams

4-star play: Keldon Johnson, Jakob Poeltl, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Josh Richardson, Jeremy Sochan, Dillon Brooks

Phoenix Suns @ Denver Nuggets

Vegas Total: NA

Vegas Spread: NA

Starting with the Suns, Devin Booker will remain out while I would imagine Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton come in as questionable on the back end of a back-to-back after sitting out last night’s game. Below is how this team operates with Booker off of the court this season:

Landry Shamet ended up missing last night’s game as well while Cameron Payne remained out. Duane Washington has been in great form while filling in for a lot of these guys in the backcourt. He’s certainly not afraid to shoot as we he has a 34.4% usage rate and 1.20 fantasy points per minute with Booker off of the court this season. They’ll need Ayton’s size in this one as well, he dropped 50.2 FanDuel points in this matchup earlier this season. Speaking of the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic had a bananas game in this matchup last time out as he dropped a 40/15/15 game and will look like a great spend-up option again in this one. Jamal Murray bounced back in a big way last time out and would make sense again here, the matchup isn’t as scary as it seems with the Suns being so shorthanded. Guys like Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. are more tournament guys than anything due to their volatility, but the minutes should be there. While guys like Bones Hyland and Bruce Brown would be more dart throws than anything in MME-type contests.

5-star play: Nikola Jokic

4-star play: Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr.

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Duane Washington, Torrey Craig, Landry Shamet, Bones Hyland, Bruce Brown

DFS NFL Week 18 Draft Kings Milly Maker Review

Houston Rockets @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total: 239.0

Vegas Spread: Sac -9.0

Starting with the Rockets, Kevin Porter Jr. has been much better as of late and makes sense in all formats, he’s playing all the minutes he can play right now. I love this matchup and think he’ll look very solid here. Jalen Green is a similar option if you need to save a couple of hundred bucks, he’s going to look like a solid option as well, but probably doesn’t have the same ceiling as Porter. Alperen Sengun has at least 31 FanDuel points in three of his last four games and is a solid option again in this one. Then Jabari Smith Jr. is going to be volatile which isn’t unexpected to come from a rookie, but the price tag is nice for tournaments. Lastly, Eric Gordon and Jae’Sean Tate are fine value options to round out the team. From the Kings, Domantas Sabonis had a floor game last time out but gets an elite bounce-back spot in this one and will look great again. The same can be said for De’Aaron Fox who is probably priced right where he should be but is still a guy I like getting some exposure to in this one. Kevin Huerter has been in great form and is a guy I’ve kind of just been falling into as of late. The price tag makes sense and he has multi-position eligibility. The same can be said for Harrison Barnes while guys like Malik Monk and Keegan Murray are more tournament options than anything.

5-star play: Domantas Sabonis

4-star play: Kevin Porter Jr., Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, De’Aaron Fox, Kevin Huerter, Harrison Barnes

Deeper Value: Eric Gordon, Jae’Sean Tate

GPP Sleeper: Jabari Smith Jr., Malik Monk, Keegan Murray
