10 under 10 – 10 GPP Options Under 10% Owned
Welcome to another edition of the 10 Under 10 article here at DFS Army! My name is Josh Thomas (@dfsupnorth), and I love GPP’s, and more importantly I love winning GPP’s. My DFS Motto when it comes to playing contests each week is very similar to famous philosopher Richard Bobby’s quote “If you ain’t first your last” (and it even rhymes with it):

Dec 4, 2022; Baltimore, Maryland, USA; Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley (2) drops back to pass during the first half against the Denver Broncos at M&T Bank Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports
“First or last, I ain’t here to min cash!”
We know through back testing in our Domination Station Optimizer, that winning lineups in the biggest GPP’s almost always have multiple players in their lineup under 10% owned and often even one or two guys sub 5%. Which ones do we play though, because being low owned isn’t enough to get you over the hump, they actually have to be good! This article each week will help you identify 10 players who have GPP winning upside based on all the underlying metrics AND are low owned!

Let’s Recap last week’s 10 under 10:
Marcus Mariota – 11.38 FD pts: 1.7x value
Jared Goff – 21.6 FD pts: 3.2 value
Daniel Jones – 17.1 FD pts: 2.4x value
Nick Chubb – 8 FD pts: 0.8x value
Dalvin Cook – 15.3 FD pts: 2x value
Christian Watson – 22.9 FD pts: 3.5x value
Olamide Zaccheaus 2.3 FD pts: 0.4x value
Corey Davis – 11 FD pts: 2x value
Quez Watkins – 6.2 FD pts: 1.1x value
Houston Texans – 11 FD pts: 3.1x value
Really solid week for the 10 under 10 article which was nice to see after a few rougher outings!
Jared Goff and Christian Watson led the way with both returning over 3x value on Fanduel and if paired Goff with his primary pass catcher, Amon Ra St. Brown then you were well on your way to a solid cash this week!
The Houston Texans got some revenge on Deshaun Watson and sacked him for a safety, but wasn’t anywhere near the monster score that the Browns put up on defense, thanks Kyle Allen.
Dalvin Cook found the end zone and had a nice 2x day but could have used a little more from him, as well as Corey Davis who in the sdame game had 11 FD points and should have had a TD grab but was overthrown.
Another week and another chance to turn some low owned players into milly maker winners! Let’s get to it!

Below you will find my favorite GPP plays under 10% owned to help you gain leverage on the field and hopefully take down a big pay day!
Tyler Huntley QB Baltimore Ravens
Ownership: DK 2%/FD 3%
Salary: DK $5500/FD $7000
I am the king of the ‘Fade the backup crowd’ mostly because of one of two situations…the backup sucks (Colt McCoy) or they aren’t built for the scheme that the team runs (Bryce Perkins). Huntley is a legitimately good QB AND he’s built for the scheme that the Ravens run. He’s shown before what he can do and he gets a PRIME matchup against the Steelers.
I would be SHOCKED if the ownership stays this low, but I’m hopeful that he does because he is priced up a bit. He has a really solid floor with the rushing upside and is an average passer, which against this secondary is a real plus. I think you can easily run him naked here but if you want to pair him with someone it would be Mark Andrews or if you want to get funky I like DeMarcus Robinson here too.
Sam Darnold QB Carolina Panthers
Ownership: DK 3%/FD 1%
Salary: DK $5200/FD $6600
Look, you don’t come to this article for me to tell you to play Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, or Jalen Hurts. We know those guys are great plays and their ownership reflects that. What you guys want is the sneaky under 5% owned QB that can help you take down a tourney and this week that man is Sam Darnold.
Darnold has survived injury and the Baker Mayfield experiment and now has the reins of the Panthers again, at least for the time being, and without CMC the Panthers are going to be forced to throw the ball a ton (don’t look at two weeks ago turd fest against the Broncos as an indication of what this offense will actually look like).
The Panthers head west to play the lowly Seahawks in a game that has explosive potential given that both defenses are not very good. Darnold is a fairly efficient passer and does have the legs to run, particularly by the goal line which if he does will get him well over 20 FD points.
Pair with DJ Moore and run it back with Tyler Lockett. I love this game and will be stacking it up everywhere as you’ll see in a second.
Geno Smith QB Seattle Seahawks
Ownership: DK 6%/FD 8%
Salary: DK $6200/FD $7700
Geno without Kenneth Walker (or at least a limited Kenny Walker) is a fantasy gold mine. Carroll can’t lean the run with Deejay Dallas and could potential unleash Geno on the lowly Panthers this week.
Geno has been a gold mine with Walker in the lineup, getting at least 19 FD points in each of last five games and he now has the potential to go absolutely off, throwing the ball 40+ times against a secondary that is giving up tons of points to opposing QB’s and receivers (though has been playing pretty slow, I think we see that tick up this week with Darnold at the helm).
Geno paired with Tyler Lockett is my preferred play and if you want to go Lockett and Noah Fant I wouldn’t argue with you. DK Metcalf is always a stud too I just prefer Lockett this week with his matchup. Run it back with DJ Moore or no one at all as we’ve seen run backs not be as common this year as they have in years past.
Ezekiel Elliott RB Dallas Cowboys
Ownership: DK 6%/FD 4%
Salary: DK $6100/FD $8000
Everyone loves themselves some Tony Pollard but don’t sleep on Zeke here as he’s not only out touching Pollard still, he’s getting a similar target share.
Is he less explosive than Pollard? Absolutely. At half the ownership though I don’t think you can go wrong trying to gain some leverage on the field by playing Elliott in a PRIME matchup against the trash Texans front 7. Has two TD upside as well as they force feed him the ball near the goal line.
Nick Chubb RB Cleveland Browns
Ownership: DK 7%/FD 5%
Salary: DK $7800/FD $8400
BACK TO THE WELL! Chubb crushes the Browns and he’s going to again here. The ownership and salary are way too low given the positive game script here for him.
We saw last week that Deshaun Watson is clearly not fully back in terms of the passing game and I think we see the Browns pound the ball here 20+ times with Chubb.
One of my favorite pay up options this week and he’s a great stack piece with Burrow Stacks or as a secondary stack. Don’t hate just playing both RB’s in this game either.

DJ Chark WR Detroit Lions
Ownership: DK 5%/FD 5%
Salary: DK $4300/FD $5700
All the Chark this week. Will be one of my highest owned players here. Everyone and their mother is playing Amon Ra St. Brown and rightfully so, but Chark is getting some pretty decent involvement and gets to go against the trash secondary of the Minnesota Vikings.
Over the last two weeks he’s leading the team in air yards by 27 or St. Brown and his aDOT is a whopping 17 yards. He doesn’t need a big target share here to pay off value and that aDOT means that he can rack up points in a hurry.
This is my favorite game stack environment of the week by far and Chark is going to be a big part of that for me.
Tyler Lockett WR Seattle Seahawks
Ownership: DK 9%/FD 6%
Salary: DK $6500/FD $7700
Lockett has arguably the best matchup of any WR on the Week 14 slate here against the Panthers. Has a TD in each of his last 5 games. And is getting a similar workload to Metcalf, yet getting more of the looks near the end zone. 12 targets last week which is bonkers. And now with Walker (and potentially DeeJay Dallas) both limited or out, we could see an even higher target share.
Yards after Catch monster which gives him a ton of upside in a game like this. I love stacking him with Geno or running him back with Darnold but I think he’s an a fine one off as well. Keep finding myself on him as my last guy in no matter who I play at QB.
Isaiah McKenzie WR Buffalo Bills
Ownership: DK 3%/FD 5%
Salary: DK $4200/FD $5600
I’m really on McKenzie this week at this price point. He will play more of a possession receiver type of role against the solid Jets secondary and that really bodes well for him, particularly on DK where he can rack up a bunch of PPR.
Diggs is clearly the top dog here and Gabe Davis is the deep threat, but McKenzie can play more of that quick out underneath role and should be open here as all the attention is focused on Diggs/Davis.
I never hate targeting receivers in high powered offenses with elite QB’s and this is another one that I’ll be all over this week for salary relief.
Mark Andrews TE Baltimore Ravens
Ownership: DK 3%/FD 7%
Salary: DK $6500/FD $6800
People will be scared off Andrews this week for two reasons. No one likes to pay up at TE and with Huntley at the helm they are scared it will affect his value, but they forget that Andrews had FIFTEEN TARGETS in his last game that Huntley started…against… the Pittsburgh Steelers.
This is such a smash spot for Andrews. I am legitimately debating going all in and moving on at TE. Tyler Huntley threw 3 TD passes last year when he started for an injured Lamar Jackson. Any guess who they all were to? That’s right. Mark Andrews.
Baltimore Ravens DST (vs. Pittsburgh Steelers)
Ownership: DK 7%/FD 9%
Salary: DK $3300/FD $4100
The Ravens have improved as a defense over the last few weeks and have done a really nice job of getting after the QB, averaging around 4 sacks a game.
Here’s the important thing though. Kenny Pickett sucks. He has done a better job at limiting turnovers but the reality is that he’s not ready to start in the NFL yet. This could be a blood bath for Pickett.
That’s it for this week! Good luck in your contests and be sure to check out our other content!
