Yahoo! DFS Cash Game Players for Week 10
Every week in Yahoo! DFS we look to target high floor players to hit the cash line in 50/50s, Double ups, and head to heads. Eating the RB value Chalk has been the strategy of prior weeks, but this week looks to be different on Yahoo, so let’s identify the best plays as we look to cash again in cash games and find ways to get different in tournaments like the Yahoo! Baller.

Quarterbacks
Patrick Mahomes $38
Mahomes is the top pay up option this week with Josh Allen nursing an elbow injury and questionable to play this week. Even in a game vs Tennessee when Mahomes only threw 1 touchdown, he still scored 35 points on 43 completions, 446 yards, and a rushing touchdown. His Floor and ceiling are both high and the Chiefs project very well this week with a 30-point team total.
Tua Tagovailoa $33
The Miami offense continues to have several players in winning GPP lineups week after week, and their projected team total of 26 points is the 2nd highest on the main slate. Tua can be stacked with both Hill and Waddle in tournaments (If you can afford it) and is cash viable as well, averaging 24.6 FPG in games that he played the entire game.
Justin Fields $33
If I’m choosing between the two Quarterbacks priced at $33, I’m going with Fields; Justin’s floor is just too high with his rushing game – he’s averaged over 100 yards per game over his last 4 games and has 3 touchdowns in that same span. He’s also throwing the ball really well right now and has averaged 2.5 touchdowns in his last 2 games. This week he gets a great matchup vs Detroit.
Running Backs
Derrick Henry $37
Henry is the Top projected back this week with a 19.14-point projection but it’s close with Saquon trailing just behind Henry. The Broncos Defense – although elite vs the pass – is about neutral on the ground as they’ve given up big games to Travis Etienne and Josh Jacobs. Henry hasn’t rushed for less than 100 yards in over 5 games, and he has 8 touchdowns in that span.
Saquon Barkley $36
The Giants Offense projects to run all over Houston this week – according to the highly accurate Statsational power rankings – and it’s no surprise why the projections lean this way as Houston has the worst Run Defense in the league. To not play Barkley in cash games in this spot would just be silly. He’s my favorite Cash game Running back play this week.
Josh Jacobs $30
Jacobs is my least favorite $30 play among Henry, Barkley, & Jacobs. However, the Colts are a good matchup vs Running Backs, and we can’t ignore that they’re in turmoil after firing their coach and hiring an interim coach/offensive coordinator with no play calling experience in the NFL or even college. The Raiders could beat the brakes off of Indy and Jacobs is a Running Back I think that you need to have exposure to in tournaments this week.
Travis Etienne $26
Ranked 5th in Fantasy Points per Dollar this week at .62. Etienne is that RB who has continued to come through for us – averaging 25 touches per game and 126 yards since Robinson was traded – at his salary as it continues to climb; Let’s continue to trust the projections and play him at a bargain before his salary is north of $30.
Dameon Pierce $21
6th in overall Running Back projections at 15.37 and averaging over 20 attempts per game. Pierce has been a bell cow in the Houston offense that may be without Cooks again as he didn’t practice Wednesday. The Texans offense leans on Pierce unless they get in a negative gamescript and are forced to go pass heavy.
**Injury Pending**
Tony Pollard $23
If zeke can’t go again, he’s not $17 this week, but hit the lock button again in cash games after he absolutely smashed 2 weeks ago before the Bye Week when he went for 131 yards and 3 touchdowns. Speaking of the $17 Pollard week, this week doesn’t look to have great running back value this week, so looking for paydown options at WR, Tight End, and Defense is the strategy I’d look to take unless late value opens up on the slate.

Wide Receivers
Tyreek Hill $37
33% target share on the season, Number one scoring WR on the season, and this game projects as high scoring. What’s not to love with Hill having a career year through 9 games of the season? He’s the top Cash game Wide Receiver for me this week.
Jaylen Waddle $30
23% target share on season. Averaged 95.5 yards and 3 touchdowns in last 2 games. He’s not as good of a play as Tyreek Hill but if you need the $7 salary savings, you can play the 5th highest scoring Wide Receiver in the league instead and get another piece of that Miami Pie.
Davante Adams $25
45% target share last week and 31% on the season. 4th in projections at 15.42. Honestly Adams is underpriced on Yahoo for his talent and elite Usage. With all the chaos going on in Indianapolis, I think Adams is a no brainer play this week.
Amon-Ra St. Brown $20
27% target share last week & clearly the number one option in the passing offense with nobody else to throw to after the departure of TJ Hockenson. Chicago’s Defense has been horrible after they traded their two best defenders and have given up an average of 42 points the last two games. Amon-Ra can be in for a big day and at low salary.
Darnell Mooney $17
29% target share last week, and he got into the endzone. Detroit is a plus matchup for opposing Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, and Tight Ends. The Bears passing offense projects very well and the salary remains low.
Chase Claypool $15
22% target share in week 1 of Chicago’s offense. I prefer Claypool over Mooney because the Bears spent a 2nd round pick to trade for him and he already was a big part of the offense out of the gate – not to mention he’s just a better overall wide receiver talent. At his salary, I love his upside and floor this week in a great matchup vs Detroit that projects as one of the 3 highest scoring games on the slate.
Rondale Moore $13
33% target share last week, and he scored almost 11 points at $11 salary. Moore has averaged 9 targets the last 2 games and his price remains low. He’s been a huge beneficiary of Hopkins coming back and is my favorite paydown option again this week.
Tight Ends
Travis Kelce $32
Kelce is always in play with his elite usage but he’s very pricey on a slate where there’s not a lot of value, so he’ll be hard to get to for me in cash games but I love him in tournament stacks with Mahomes.
Greg Dulcich $18
Tennessee is a great matchup for Opposing Tight Ends and Dulcich is averaging 10 points per game this season in his first 3 career games after coming off of injured reserve with a Hamstring injury.
David Njoku $17
Miami is a great matchup for opposing Tight Ends, so Njoku’s projection of 8.66 points – which is third highest for tight ends – is right on par.
Tyler Higbee $14
Arizona is the worst team in the league against the Tight End given up over 7 points above average. Higbee feels like a smash play this week at only $14.
Dalton Schultz $10
Dalton Schultz is the top Fantasy Points per Dollar play at Tight End this week according to the Domination Station and at minimum pricing, so we love that.

Defenses
New York Giants $13
The Top Fantasy Points Per Dollar Defensive Play this week is quite obvious going against a Texans team that may be without Brandin Cooks again. This is a Giants Team that has played very well and looks to continue that again against a Houston team with only 18 projected points.
Las Vegas Raider $13
6-point favorites and that line may move with all the questionable coaching changes happening for a bad Colts team this week.
Miami Dolphins $11
Your best punt option as one of the top Fantasy Points per Dollar plays at the Dom Station.
Top Yahoo! Stack of the Week
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce
Total Stacking Price: $70 of $200
Total Projected Points: 39.80
Total Projected Ownership: 34%
Highest projected game total, highest team total, and it’s the Best Quarterback in the league with his best Pass Catcher. Trying to decide which Wide Receiver that Mahomes is going to target frequently is something I’ll reserve for the MME players, and I’ll stack Kelce with Mahomes in hopes that he’ll hit some positive Touchdown regression for a couple of Tuddy’s.
Top Yahoo! Leverage Plays
Daniel Jones at 5%
In the same way that the Bears have designed an offense to fit Justin’s skillset, the Giants have done the same with Jones and he’s just 3 weeks removed from being in GPP winning lineups, ran naked. (No stacked pass catchers.)
Nick Chubb at 4%
We saw Chubb in GPP winning lineups during week 2 of the season and I’ll take some shots at under 5% ownership again in a game that projects as back and forth and high scoring.
Jaylen Waddle at 7%
Waddle is quietly the 5th highest scoring wide receiver on the season. Tyreek Hill is the chalk and Waddle is the way to get different in your lineup constructions.
Amari Cooper at 1%
Top 10 scoring Wide Receiver at 1% ownership in a game that projects as high scoring? Yes, please. I like him and Jacoby in contrarian tournament stacks this week with Hill and Waddle as bring back options.
Chase Claypool at 1%
He didn’t get the touchdowns last week, but it was his first week and he got a 22% target share out of the gate. At low projected ownership and a cheap salary, I love Claypool this week stacked with Fields.
