The NHL DFS slate for 11/28 offers a digestible six games after the long holiday weekend full of family and food. We have some great options for correlating in tournaments, value plays for cash games, and overall ceiling plays that can break a slate. Let’s analyze some of the best plays for today’s slate on either Draftkings or Fanduel.

Goalie – Matt Murray (TOR)
Facing DET might not be super ideal being the Red Wings have some firepower, but we do know TOR allows shots…and those provide a floor for a goalie. Murray has won 4 of his last 5 starts averaging around 4x value his $7000 salary with a ceiling well into the 40pt range.
Center – Connor McDavid (EDM)
The EDM center is the franchise, and always among league leaders in shots, points, and goals. In 21 games played this year so far, McJesus has tallied 36 pts (16 G, 20 A) on 82 shots (4+ per game). He’s a great candidate for the 5+ bonus on DK too. Just a week ago, McDavid was on a run of 7/8 slates with at least 28 points…he’s normally very consistent and draws a plus matchup tonight against a bottom 10 defense in FLA over the past 3 weeks allowing 4.00 goals against per game.
Wing – Pavel Buchnevic (STL)
Arguably the STL Blues top threat, Buch is popping in optimizers today, telling us to pay attention. The Dallas Stars have allowed a bottom five 27 goals against in their last 8 games while Buchnevich has amassed 4 G and 5 A in his last 5 games on 12 shots….better current production than Leon Draisaitl at half the cost.
Wing – Josh Leivo (STL)
To build quality lineups in DFS, value plays are key….$3700 for Josh Leivo is screaming value. You also gain the benefit of a little lower ownership being Leivo doesn’t skate on L1 for STL or post PP time. Don’t let that stop you, though. Over Leivo’s last 8 games, he has posted fantasy points in ALL of them and has paid off his salary 3-4 times over in 4 of those 8 games…..easy value play.

NHL DFS Stacks for Tonight
If you are looking for a combination of solid projections AND value pricing, look no further than VGK third line skaters or the PP2 units. The Golden Knights are playing a bottom feeding Columbus team ripe for the picking. The Blue Jackets are a bottom 3 offense allowing 4.2 goals against on the year. Paired with a bottom third penalty kill, well…
If you are looking for firepower, the top Edmonton power play unit contains both Connor McDavid (mentioned above) and Leon Draisaitl stacked together. When you can put two of the top three point scorers in the league on the same scoring line, your floor is immensely high for cash games. And, your tournament ceiling is quite literally through the roof.
Another top stack choice for tonight is the St Louis Blues top line using Pavel Buchnevic correlated with the team’s other top producers in Jordan Kyrou and Robert Thomas (also on the 2nd power play units). The power play is typically a STL strength, and we can pencil this stack into lineups while we wait for our “referee report” to drop in our Discord Channels later tonight. Draw a whistle-happy crew tonight, and STL gets a giant boost with more potential power play opportunities than usual.
