Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Mike aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

We’ll kick off this slate with the Warriors, Steph Curry has continued to look great this season with at least 45 DraftKings points in each game this season. He leads the team with a 30.8% usage rate and 1.56 fantasy points per minute on the year and will look like a good option here in a great matchup against the Magic. Klay Thompson was a guy I talked myself into on the short slate on Tuesday and he ended up with a fine game but now has at least 31 minutes in back-to-back games. I like going right back to him at this price tag… and hopefully, he will start shooting better than his combined 5-19 from three-point range over his last two. Jordan Poole returned to his 6th man role off of the bench with Klay back last time out but still got 30 minutes, just not that 35+ minute upside off of the bench. He’s a fine GPP option although he might be priced a little too high for me. Andrew Wiggins bounced back last time out and will continue to be a secondary option who has shown consistency on the season. Then we can round this team out with Kevon Looney as a filler piece if you need a value center option. From the Magic, Jalen Suggs returned last time out but came off of the bench to play 28 minutes… I’m not sure if they’re wanting to ease him in or if they like Bol Bol in the starting lineup more, so keep an eye on the starting lineup tonight but I would expect Suggs to play around 30 minutes regardless. They’ll continue to be without Cole Anthony and potentially Terrence Ross who was injured in their game against the Thunder. If Ross were to miss we may see Suggs and Bol in the starting lineup regardless, so some key news to monitor on the Breaking News Feed tonight. Speaking of Bol, he continues to look great and is playing around 30 minutes per night, he has at least 32 DraftKings points in three of his last five and has 1.16 fantasy points per minute on the season. Paolo Banchero has been held down over his last two games but I’ll have no issue going right back to him in a nice matchup here with Anthony still out. He has a 29.8% usage rate and 1.23 fantasy points per minute with Anthony off of the court this season. Wendell Carter Jr. is coming off his best game of the season last time out and will look good again here even at an elevated price tag. Then we can round this game out with Franz Wagner as a solid mid-range option who looked good last time out as well.
5-star play: Stephen Curry, Paolo Banchero
4-star play: Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, Bol Bol, Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs, Wendell Carter Jr.
Deeper Value: Kevon Looney, Mo Bamba
GPP Sleeper: Jordan Poole, Kevon Looney, Jalen Suggs, Mo Bamba (dart)
Quick shoutout to VIP member “Cenzamatic” on a massive $20k win last season! Sometimes paying up for double studs works, and Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant brought it home for him with the help of some Stanley Johnson and Pistons value. Good work and congrats man!
Denver Nuggets @ Oklahoma City Thunder
Vegas Total: 229.0
Vegas Spread: Den -6.0
Starting with the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic will look great here, there isn’t anyone in this Thunder frontcourt that will be able to slow him down. He dropped 60.7 FanDuel points on the Thunder earlier this season and is the top spend-up option on the slate. Michael Porter Jr. has looked good as of late and has attempted 10 three-pointers in three of his last five games. If he gets hot from three in any of these games he’s going to have a ceiling game and just think he’s slightly too cheap. Jamal Murray saw 30+ minutes for the first time this season last time out and is too cheap considering his potential if the minutes are going to be there, as they seem they should be. Then guys like Aaron Gordon, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Bruce Brown all make sense as mid-range GPP options if you land on them as a filler option. It’s worth noting Bones Hyland comes in as questionable, if he were to miss we’d see more minutes for guys like Brown and Caldwell-Pope and Christian Braun would work his way in as a dart throw option on this slate. From the Thunder, they got Josh Giddey back last time out and played just 25 minutes… I would expect that’s the minutes’ floor in this one and is a solid option in all formats tonight. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander takes a hit with Giddey back on the court but he still has at least 57 FanDuel points in three of his last four. That said, I like his price tag much more on DraftKings at $9.7k than his $10.8k price tag on FanDuel. I never have an issue getting to Lu Dort if you land on him, he’s going to play big minutes due to his defensive ability and gets hot from the floor every now and then. We saw Jalen Williams get the start last time out but still played just 22 minutes, he got a big price boost as well, so I don’t really have much interest in him at the moment. Aleksej Pokusevski had a big game last time out and saw 31 minutes, I have no issue going right back to him at this price tag again, they’ll need size against Jokic down-low. Then guys like Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Darius Bazley are dart-throw options, we saw Robinson-Earl start and close the game last time out, so he would be my preferred option as the minutes are extremely volatile for Bazley.
5-star play: Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (DraftKings)
4-star play: Michael Porter Jr., Jamal Murray, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (FanDuel), Josh Giddey, Lu Dort
Deeper Value: Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Christian Braun
GPP Sleeper: Aaron Gordon, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Bruce Brown, Christian Braun, Aleksej Pokusevski, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Darius Bazley
NBA Lock of the Day: Jamal Murray (DK – $5.6k; FD – $5.6k)
This is more of a pricing play than anything, I just think he’s too cheap here considering he got his minutes back up over 30 last time out. Assuming that’s his minutes’ floor in this one, he’s too cheap given the matchup. At this point in the day, I would think he makes my core, but check out our VIP Cheat Sheets as we get closer to lock for staff picks on Core plays, 8x locks of the day, and tiers notes as well!
