NFL DFS Quarterbacks
Derek Carr- Why does this man keep appearing on the Chalk Board? Even with Davante Adams, Carr is garbage and is projected to have 7.62% ownership. I will use Geek’s words here: those who play Carr are high on Hopeium. You can hope he goes off, but he hasn’t gone off in over two years and will remain mediocre this week. PASS on Carr this week and every other week until he proves he is worth starting.
Josh Allen- DFS Army’s Chalk Board projects Allen to have about 12.04% ownership this week, which I think is low. Allen is an animal and one of the players that you can set and forget. SMASH Allen this week and every other week.
Aaron Rodgers- Rodgers has had a forgettable start to the season and has made do with a sub-par wide receiver corps. BUT… Guess who the Packers play this week? Detroit. Guess who has the worse defense in the league? Detroit. Rodgers is in a smash spot, and if he can’t get it done here, then the Packers are finished. SMASH Rodgers this week in a juicy matchup against a team he has owned over the past couple of years. The projected ownership for Rodgers is about 8.07%.

NFL DFS Running Backs
Josh Jacobs- Josh Jacobs was a dud last week, and one thing we love here at DFS Army is Studs off a Dud. This week Jacobs is projected to have roughly 23% ownership in a decent matchup against Jacksonville. Josh has been solid all year, and last week he ran into the stout run defense of New Orleans. But Vegas as a whole was shut down, not just Jacobs. SMASH Jacobs this week in a bounce-back game against Jacksonville.
Jonathon Taylor– Taylor has a projected ownership of around 5.03% this week. Taylor has not lived up to expectations this year, and with a price tag of $7700 on DraftKings and $6800 on FanDuel, he has to prove he is healthy and able to be the Taylor he was last year. In addition, Taylor remains questionable with an ankle injury. PASS Taylor until he proves he can produce numbers indicative of his price tag. UPDATE!!! Taylor is Doubtful to play… If he is out, then there is value in Deon Jackson.
Aaron Jones- SMASH of the Week- Aaron Jones and the Packers play Detroit this week. Do I need to elaborate? Jones scored 22.7 fantasy points against the Bills’ defense last week. We all know how good Buffalo is. Jones is in a smash spot with the doubts at the wide receiver position. SMASH Jones this week against a pitiful Detroit defense.
NFL DFS Wide Receivers
DeAndre Hopkins– The Chalk Board projects DeAndre to have about 14.29% ownership this week. The Cardinals face the Seahawks this week, and with Hopkins being a target monster, he is a must-start in all formats. This game has one of the highest projected point totals on the slate. SMASH Hopkins this week in what looks like a high-scoring affair and a high-volume match for him.
Stefon Diggs– The projected ownership of Stefon Diggs will be around 21.30%. Diggs and the Bills are playing the Jets, who I believe is an underrated team. Sauce Gardener has been excellent this year, and while Diggs is an elite receiver, this Jets defense shut down Miami a couple of weeks ago, holding Hill and Waddle to a combined 70 receiving yards. According to the Domination Station, Diggs is projected to score 21.3 fantasy points. PASS on Diggs this week in a tough contest where the defense is underrated and will be honed in on eliminating him.

NFL DFS Tight Ends
Gerald Everett– Atlanta ranks 29th against opposing tight ends, and with Williams out and Allen questionable, Everett is in a great spot this week. Over the past two weeks, Everett has got 16 targets, and that’s with Williams playing. Nevertheless, someone will have to step up, and I see Everett being that guy. Everett has the volume, talent, and matchup to make big numbers. SMASH- Everett has a juicy matchup where his ownership is projected to be about 4.16%.
NFL DFS Defense and Special Teams.
Carolina Panthers DST– The Chalk Board projects Carolina’s ownership to be about 8%. This week they face a Cincinnati team that is coming off an embarrassing loss to Cleveland. I understand the price point of this play, but according to Shark Chronicles, Milli Maker defenses run in the 3k range or about 6% of your total salary. PASS on Carolina’s DST in a horrible matchup on the road this week.
