NFL DFS is about making the right decision. Should we smash that play into our lineups or pass on it completely? Smash or Pass Key Decisions for Fantasy Football will help you quickly see who is for real and who is just noise for the week ahead…

NFL DFS Quarterbacks
- Joe Burrow- Burrow came out last week and played like it was the National Championship game all over again in New Orleans. Burrow completed 28 of 37 passes for 300 yards and 3 TDs. Burrow also rekindled his connection with fellow LSU Tiger teammate Ja’Marr Chase who caught 2 of his 3 TDs. Burrow stares down a susceptible Atlanta defense this week at home. The Bengals offensive line has been better and with all the weapons at his disposal Burrow is a Smash this week
- Dak Prescott- Prescott is slated to return from injury against the Detroit Lions who are hideous on defense. Cooper Rush went 3-1 as the starter while Dak was sidelined. The Cowboys relied heavily on the run game and I see them doing that again this week even with Dak being back. Dak is a strong Pass this week as the matchup won’t require him to pass it a ton
- Geno Smith- The Seahawks are laughing at Denver right now after what could be considered the heist of the century. Geno has been really good to start the year and was even the Milli Maker QB once. This Seattle team is highly underrated and they now face a Chargers defense that is riddled with injuries. This game has the highest implied total on the slate and I don’t see Seattle being blown out. Smash Geno this week.
- Tom Brady- Brady has Gisele on the brain and put up a dud in a smash spot against Pittsburgh last week. This week Brady faces a Carolina team that is just a mess. Robbie Anderson was traded because of issues, Matt Rhule was fired, Baker sucks and is injured, Darnold is cleared to play but PJ Walker is projected to be the starter. Brady is not the GOAT for no reason. He was seen yelling at his teammates last week on the sideline which leads me to believe Brady will play angry this week. Brady will show people what “Stud off a Dud” means. Smash Brady this week in what could be a major blowout against the Panthers.
NFL DFS Running Backs
- Christian McCaffery- Christian McCaffery was traded to San Francisco and will likely need some time to acclimate to the offense Pass Christian McCaffery this week.
- Josh Jacobs- Jacobs has been really good this year and now he faces a porous Houston defense. Not even going to get into some long spill on this one: Smash Jacobs this week in a juicy matchup.
- Austin Ekeler- Ekeler has been a monster the past 2 weeks and I don’t see him slowing down. Seattles defense was good last week against Arizona but don’t let that fool you. Ekeler is waaaaay better than Eno and with Keenan Allen likely to be out again this week as The Chargers head into their bye week. Smash Ekeler this week and have no worries about it.

Winning Wide Recievers
- DJ Moore- WARNING BUST ALERT!!! Moore is a good player but in this offense he is horrible. There are way too many things going on with Carolina to put money on a “what if” situation. I mean PJ Walker is the probable starter this week at QB and they are facing Tampa Bay who is going to be playing angry after getting embarassed by Pittsburgh last week. Pass Moore this week with too many other valuable options available.
- Christian Kirk- Kirk started the season red hot but has fizzled out over the past couple weeks. This week Jacksonville faces The Giants who have shocked the league this year by starting the season 5-1. Barkley is surely going to be the Comeback Player of The Year. Jacksonville has played well this under new coach Doug Pederson. Kirk is a Smash this week IF you believe the stud off a dud theory and Jacksonville will be playing catch up
- Mike Evans and DK Metcalf- These 2 NFL DFS monsters are staring down juicy matchups that figure on being high scoring affairs. Well let me rephrase that 1 blowout and 1 high scoring affair. Let me put it like this: if Tampa Bay loses this weekend they are DONE! Carolina has some good to them BUT the bad outweighs that tremendously. Metcalf and The Seahawks are facing the Chargers in a game that figures to be high scoring. DK is a nasty receiver with a mean streak and Geno loves him. Smash Evans and Metcalf this week with no worries.
NFL DFS Tight Ends
- Cade Otton- The Bobbiwow Special is back in play this week after Cameron Brate suffered a sprained neck last week. In the week Bobbywow called out Otton as a sneaky play he posted 5.7 points. The following week he put up 10.3 points, and at $2700 on DK he his the ultimate value play. Smash Otton this week against Carolina.
- Mark Andrews and Travis Kelce- No brainer here: Smash both of them
- Hayden Hurst- Hurst has secretly been a target monster that Burrow loves. Hurst, this season, has gotten 23 targets and turned them into 18 catches for 178 yards and 2 TDs. Atlanta’s defense has been very generous to the TE position and thats why we need to: Smash Hurst this week in a great matchup.
Key Defenses
- San Francisco- Mahomes Magic + Killer Kelce= Pass on the 49ers DST this week.
- Green Bay- Look bottom line is Green Bay got embarassed at Lambeau Field by the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets last week. Lafleur will have this unit amped up and ready to go as they take on The Washington Commanders. Smash Packers DST this week.
- New York Jets- Russ is pitiful this year and Coach Hackett needs to go if the Broncos want to win. The Jets did a good job against Rodgers last week and Denvers offense is HORRIBLE. Smash The Jets against this shamefully weak offense.
