4/2 NBA DFS Full Court Press

Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Steve aka @Mutt18 on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. We also have NEW pricing options, where you can sign up for WEEKLY access as opposed to be committed for a full month, so you have no excuse to try us out! With that said, let’s get it started!

Charlotte Hornets @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: 230.5

Vegas Spread: Phi -5.5

Starting with the Hornets, this is a tough matchup for them, but the best play here is going to be LaMelo Ball as he has the height advantage and should see some James Harden on defense. I won’t be playing many Hornets here as the Sixers are tough defensively, but if you’re looking for an edge in GPPs you can go to Terry Rozier at his price. It also looks like Gordon Hayward is gonna be back here so that takes some shine off of Miles Bridges and PJ Washington. If you want to get really deep you can go to Montrezl Harrell but his minutes have been all over the place lately.

Now for the Sixers, Joel Embiid should feast here, as he will be able to get whatever he wants in this matchup, especially considering the Hornets can’t rebound. James Harden is a solid play here as well, but I prefer Embiid’s matchup tonight. Tobias Harris is solid as always but his ceiling will be capped as long as both those guys are healthy. If you want to get really deep, Matisse Thybulle is coming off his best game of the year, and Tyrese Maxey has also been solid in his new role, but I’m not going out of my way to play either of those guys tonight.

5-star play: Joel Embiid, James Harden

4-star play: LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, Tobias Harris

Deeper Value: Matisse Thybulle, PJ Washington, Tyrese Maxey

GPP Sleeper: Matisse Thybulle

Cleveland Cavaliers @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: 215.5

Vegas Spread: Cle -2

Starting with the Cavs, Darius Garland has been fantastic as of late and the Cavs are hurting for bodies here with all the injuries so he should see good run again here tonight. Caris LeVert is the other guy I’ll be targeting here, as he is off his minutes limit and is still too cheap on both sites, but we know he has some volatility. Lauri Markkanen and Kevin Love have been splitting minutes at the 3/4 and both are in play here tonight, Markkanen is my preferred option as he sees more minutes. If you’re looking to get really deep Isaac Okoro can have a big fantasy day once in a blue moon, and Moses Brown has been starting with Mobley out, I like him on both sites for value again here tonight.

Now for the Knicks, they’re never an exciting team to target, but Julius Randle is out again here, which makes Mitchell Robinson very interesting along with Jericho Sims for value at the 4/5. RJ Barrett has cooled off as of late, but he has the highest upside of any of these Knicks tonight and he is solid for cash games. Evan Fournier and Alec Burks are both in play here as well given the matchup, but I’m not too excited about either of them personally. Lastly, if you’re looking to get deep, Immanuel Quickley is seeing big minutes off the bench and he can get hot from time to time.

5-star play: Darius Garland, Caris LeVert, RJ Barrett

4-star play: Mitchell Robinson, Kevin Love, Lauri Markkanen, Alec Burks

Deeper Value: Jericho Sims, Immanuel Quickley, Isaac Okoro, Moses Brown

GPP Sleeper: Moses Brown

Brooklyn Nets @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 241.5

Vegas Spread: Bkn -2

Starting with the Nets, this is a big game that they’ll want to win as this could be a potential playoff matchup in the near future. Kevin Durant is going to be your main play, as he was looking to get everyone involved last game and contributes in all categories. Kyrie Irving is in play here as well as we know that Trae doesn’t play any defense but he is more scoring dependent. Bruce Brown is also playing huge minutes as of late and he’s a solid option here in the mid-range, along with Andre Drummond who has a good matchup here against Capela. Seth Curry is also seeing solid minutes at the 2 here and he’s a solid option for value along with Nic Claxton who is seeing the most minutes off the bench here. If Kyrie were to miss for any reason then that would open up room for Goran Dragic as well.

Now for the Hawks, they are rolling right now behind Trae Young, he is a premier play tonight as we know that neither him or Kyrie will play any defense in this game. Clint Capela has also been trending in the right direction, he is coming off his best game in awhile and gets a good matchup here tonight. If you’re looking for mid-range guys, Danilo Gallinari and De’Andre Hunter are both starting here in good matchup, and Kevin Huerter can light it up from time to time as well. Bogdan Bogdanovic is also seeing big minutes off the bench, but his price has caught up on all sites. If you’re looking to get really deep, Onyeka Okongwu would be in line for some bigger minutes here if Capela gets into foul trouble.

5-star play: Trae Young, Kevin Durant

4-star play: Kyrie Irving, Bruce Brown, Andre Drummond, Clint Capela, Bogdan Bogdanovic

Deeper Value: Seth Curry, Goran Dragic, Danilo Gallinari, De’Andre Hunter

GPP Sleeper: Bruce Brown

Miami Heat @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: 220

Vegas Spread: Mia -2

Starting with the Heat, Jimmy Butler is gonna be your top option here, as he does it all and contributes in all categories so the floor is pretty safe from a fantasy perspective. Kyle Lowry and Tyler Herro are both solid options here as well in the mid-range as their matchups are both solid as well. Bam Adebayo draws a tougher matchup going up against Vuc, but he had a really solid game last time out and he’s in play for sure tonight. This Heat team is not very fantasy friendly outside of those guys, so I really won’t be getting down to PJ Tucker much, but considering it is a 3 game slate tonight you could go there as well.

Now for the Bulls,  Zach LaVine has been playing very well, and he’s decently cheap on both sites given his upside with Ball out, I like him again here tonight. Nikola Vucevic and DeMar Derozan will be in for huge usage although this isn’t a great matchup for the Bulls, but both are solid options in GPPs with their upside. Ayo Dosunmu is also in play here for value, but with Caruso back it really limits his upside even though he’s been starting. Javonte Green is back and starting, and if you’re looking to get really deep, Patrick Williams has also been seeing his minutes go up as of late and he’s been solid as well. Alex Caruso is also seeing big minutes off the bench and he’s been decent and seeing more minutes than Dosunmu.

5-star play: Jimmy Butler

4-star play: Kyle Lowry, Tyler Herro, Nikola Vucevic, DeMar Derozan, Bam Adebayo

Deeper Value: Ayo Dosunmu, Patrick Williams, Alex Caruso, PJ Tucker

GPP Sleeper: Patrick Williams

Utah Jazz @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total: 218.5

Vegas Spread: Uth -1.5

Starting with the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell is gonna be a premier play here tonight, as he’s been really solid as of late and the Warriors have been struggling against 2 guards as of late. Rudy Gobert has a great matchup here as well tonight, as Looney is not a good rim defender and he is still pretty cheap on both sites. Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic are both solid mid-range options as well here, but neither are guys that I love. If you want to get really deep, Jordan Clarkson will see some big minutes off the bench, but I’m not touching Royce O’Neale tonight as he’ll see a lot of Draymond and is already a low usage guy to begin with.

Now for the Warriors, Steph Curry is out again here tonight, so that’ll open up things for Jordan Poole, he is coming off his best game of the year but the price has come up as well. Klay Thompson is gonna be my favorite play from the Warriors tonight at his price point, as his ceiling is sky high here. Andrew Wiggins is never exciting to play either, but on a small slate he is in play for GPPs here tonight. Draymond Green should also see big minutes here as well as they’ll need him on these Jazz bigs, great spot for him to succeed in this one. Outside of those guys I don’t really see anyone I want from the Warriors.

5-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Klay Thompson

4-star play: Rudy Gobert, Jordan Poole, Draymond Green, Bojan Bogdanovic, Mike Conley

Deeper Value: Jordan Clarkson, Andrew Wiggins

GPP Sleeper: Draymond Green
