4/18 NBA DFS Full Court Press
Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Steve aka @Mutt18 on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. We also have NEW pricing options, where you can sign up for WEEKLY access as opposed to be committed for a full month, so you have no excuse to try us out! With that said, let’s get it started!

The Raptors are gonna be in a tough spot here, they’ll likely be without their sparkplug in Scottie Barnes and likely without Gary Trent as well. They had a tough time in game 1 with those guys so this game could be ugly here. With those guys out, Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby are going to be elite plays at their price. Precious Achiuwa saw the most minutes off the bench, but with Trent likely out here that opens up some value in the form of Malachi Flynn or possibly Yuta Watanabe depending on who they decide to start. Flynn would be the more logical choice but you never know with Nick Nurse. Chris Boucher should also be in line for a bigger role here as well with Barnes likely out but just keep an eye for a starting lineup as this is the first game of the night.
Now for the Sixers, they’ll be looking to dominate this series here, Joel Embiid and James Harden both had field days here, both are elite plays here tonight but like I said I could see this game getting ugly. Tobias Harris had a great game as well, he should continue to thrive going up against OG here and Tyrese Maxey had a career game as well, due to recency bias I’ll likely fade him here as he’ll be overowned and the Raptors will make adjustments to slow him down. Matisse Thybulle and Danny Green are both viable here for value as well, but I want the one who starts as they’ve been flip flopping starting at the three over the last few games.
5-star play: Pascal Siakam, Joel Embiid, James Harden
4-star play: Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey
Deeper Value: Danny Green, Matisse Thybulle, Malachi Flynn, Chris Boucher, Yuta Watanabe (needs to start)
GPP Sleeper: Chris Boucher, OG Anunoby

Utah Jazz @ Dallas Mavericks
Vegas Total: 205.5
Vegas Spread: Uth -5.5
The big news here will obviously be the health of Luka Doncic, if he is in this will be a more competitive game. Starting with the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell cruised last game and there’s no reason he shouldn’t feast here. Rudy Gobert has 20-20 upside as well in this game and his price went down after he disappointed a bit last game. Bojan Bogdanovic had a big game as well, if he stays hot from the field he could be a low owned GPP sleeper again here tonight. Jordan Clarkson and Mike Conley are also in play here, but I won’t be going out of my way to play either of them. Lastly, if you want to get really deep here, Royce O’Neale is cheap on both sites as well but he is not a high usage player.
Now for the Mavericks, if Luka is in, obviously he is a premier play on a 3 game slate. I’m leaning that he’ll be out here, so you can go right back to Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie. I actually like Dwight Powell a bit here for value, as they’ll need his big body here to try and contain Gobert as he is their best defender. Dorian Finney-Smith is also gonna see big minutes here as well, but he is a low usage guy as well so he’s more of a deep MME type play. Reggie Bullock will also be one of the best value plays on the slate again here if Luka is out, so keep an eye on news here. I won’t be going out of my way to play guys from this game though as it has the lowest total on the slate.
5-star play: Luka Doncic (if in), Donovan Mitchell
4-star play: Rudy Gobert, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jalen Brunson, Spencer Dinwiddie
Deeper Value: Reggie Bullock, Dorian Finney-Smith, Dwight Powell, Royce O’Neale
GPP Sleeper: Reggie Bullock, Bojan Bogdanovic
Denver Nuggets @ Golden State Warriors
Vegas Total: 224.5
Vegas Spread: Gsw -7
Starting with the Nuggets, I think they put up a much better fight in this game here, and I’ll be heavy on Nikola Jokic here as I think he’ll be close to a triple-double here tonight and he should be worth the salary. Will Barton is coming off a monster game, and they’ll need him to step up here again if they want a shot in this series. Aaron Gordon and Monte Morris are also both decent plays here if you want to get different, but this team lives and dies with Jokic. Jeff Green is also viable for a deeper MME value type play but I won’t have a ton of him here.
Now for the Warriors, I can see them rolling with the same lineup here as they ease Steph Curry back in, I don’t see him playing full minutes here which makes Jordan Poole very viable at his price on both sites. I think Klay Thompson will have a huge game here tonight, he is gonna see a ton of minutes and take a lot of shots here, love him here tonight as he should be lower owned. Draymond Green is gonna be super solid here as well, as they’re gonna need him to play a ton of minutes to help try and slow down Jokic. Kevon Looney didn’t play a lot of minutes but he has been solid, if he sees 20+ minutes he would be a great value but those minutes aren’t guaranteed. Otto Porter Jr. saw the most minutes off the bench and he has some decent upside at his price as well and shouldn’t be too highly owned.
5-star play: Nikola Jokic, Klay Thompson
4-star play: Jordan Poole, Draymond Green, Will Barton
Deeper Value: Otto Porter, Aaron Gordon, Monte Morris, Jeff Green
GPP Sleeper: Otto Porter
