Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Mike aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Chicago Bulls @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: 218.0

Vegas Spread: Mil -12.0

We’ll kick this slate kicked off with the Bulls who will likely be without Zach LaVine as he entered health and safety protocols yesterday. Alex Caruso is also in concussion protocols as well, so we’ll need to keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates surrounding them, but I’ll operate under the assumption that they’re both out here. I would expect we see Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu slide into the starting lineup in their place and will look like great value options on this slate. Below is how the rest of this team operates with these guys off of the court this season:

These would be my favorite options from the Bulls with guys like Derrick Jones Jr. and Javonte Green as deep flyers just because they’ll likely get minutes if Caruso and LaVine are both out. We’ve seen some big games from DeRozan, Vucevic, and even Patrick Williams in this series, and will look like great options along with White and Dosunmo to provide some value. The Bulls will need a big game from multiple pieces to avoid being eliminated here.  From the Bucks, they’ll continue to be without Khris Middleton and I would expect them to start Bobby Portis again and go with that big lineup that has been working for them. The big reason it’s been working is due to the performances of Grayson Allen who has shot 11-14 from three-point range over the last two games. I would expect this regresses at some point, but the open three-pointers will be there for these ancillary pieces for the Bucks due to how quick defenses are collapsing on Giannis in the paint. In fact, before the Mavs played on Monday, the Bucks lead the postseason in wide-open three-pointers (nobody within 6+ft)… so the shots will be there for guys like Allen, Pat Connaughton, Bobby Portis, and Brook Lopez, they just need to knock them down. Speaking of Giannis Antetokounmpo, he’ll look like a great option again here, the Bulls don’t have much of an answer for him on defense, and now has at least 67 DraftKings points in two of his last three games. We can go right back to Jrue Holiday as well, he has a 28.6% usage rate and 1.27 fantasy points per minute with Middleton off of the court this season.

5-star play: DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic, Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star play: Patrick Williams, Jrue Holiday, Grayson Allen, Bobby Portis, Brook Lopez

Deeper Value: Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, Pat Connaughton

GPP Sleeper: Derrick Jones Jr., Javonte Green, Brook Lopez, Pat Connaughton

Quick shoutout to VIP member “Cenzamatic” on a massive $20k win earlier in the season! Sometimes paying up for double studs works, and Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant brought it home for him with the help of some Stanley Johnson and Pistons value. Good work and congrats man!

Denver Nuggets @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total: 226.0

Vegas Spread: GSW -9.0

We’ll start this game off with the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic will be right there with Giannis as one of the top spend-up options on the slate, as the Nuggets will look to avoid elimination as well. He’s going to have to do everything for Denver again and will look like a great option. Aaron Gordon has at least 40 DraftKings points in two straight games and will look like a nice option again here on a 2-game slate. Will Barton is probably more of a tournament option for me due to the volatility he’s shown in this series, but I do think he has a nice ceiling. Monte Morris had a nice game last time out but wouldn’t expect him to shoot 5-7 from three-point range again. Bones Hyland is in the same boat, he was extremely efficient in 20 minutes of run last time out, he’ll be more of a tournament option as well. From the Warriors, I thought Steph Curry would return to the starting lineup last game but didn’t… however, he still saw 37 minutes and Steve Kerr stated he wouldn’t be limited moving forward, so I think this is the game we finally see him re-enter the starting five while Jordan Poole shifts back to the bench. This probably hurts Poole more than it helps Curry, but both guys will look like GPP options, although, their price tags aren’t as bad as I thought they might be here. Klay Thompson has been in great form in this series as well and will look like a solid secondary option as well. Draymond Green will always be in play for me due to his ability to stuff the stat sheet, he’s a nice play in all formats. Then guys like Andrew Wiggins and even Otto Porter Jr. are MME-type players on a 2-game slate to round this one out.

5-star play: Nikola Jokic

4-star play: Aaron Gordon, Will Barton, Monte Morris, Steph Curry, Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Bones Hyland, DeMarcus Cousins, Will Barton, Andrew Wiggins, Otto Porter Jr.

NBA Lock of the Day: Coby White (DK – $4.5k; FD – $4.2k)

White is going to be a popular value option tonight with Zach LaVine out tonight, but for good reason. I would expect he starts tonight and has a 22.6% usage rate and just about a fantasy point per minute with LaVine and Ball off of the court this season. He provides some nice value to allow us to get up to the Giannis/Jokic tier tonight. At this point in the day, I would think he makes my core, but check out our VIP Cheat Sheets as we get closer to lock for staff picks on Core plays, 8x locks of the day, and tiers notes as well!
