My name is Steve aka @Mutt18 on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. We also have NEW pricing options, where you can sign up for WEEKLY access as opposed to be committed for a full month, so you have no excuse to try us out! With that said, let’s get it started!

Detroit Pistons @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: 217.5

Vegas Spread: Wsh -3.5

Starting with the Pistons, Cade Cunningham is cheap again on both sites, but that is because of his volatility, but the upside is firmly there as we saw last night and multiple times already this year. Cory Joseph and Killian Hayes both split minutes at the 2, but as long as both are healthy I prefer Joseph for value here as he is the more established and the coaching staff trusts him way more. Saddiq Bey has slate breaking potential at low ownership here if he gets hot from 3 early as well. Kelly Olynyk also put on a clinic coming off the bench the other night and he is dirt cheap on both sites as well, but he is a bit volatile as well. Jerami Grant is priced nicely on both sites as well, he has nice upside as FanDuel refuses to raise his price and he has 40+ upside, but I wouldn’t pair him and Cunningham in the same lineup. Lastly, if you’re looking to get really deep, Isaiah Stewart has seem most of the minutes at the 5 and WAS is not great against bigs.

Now for the Wizards, Kyle Kuzma is going to be your best option here, as Dinwiddie is gone and Beal is out so he will soak up the majority of that usage as he has been for the past few weeks. Raul Neto should start and run the point as well here and he’s still pretty cheap on both sites although I prefer his price on DK. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has had some big games this year when all these guys are out, I’ll be looking at him for value tonight as well and he should be low owned once tonight, as long as he stays in that 4K range he is going to be a great value play with the minutes he is getting. Deni Avdija is also in play here as he should see solid minutes even if he comes off the bench. The Wizards also have Thomas Bryant back, but they also got Daniel Gafford back and both are viable here tonight as they are both cheap everywhere. Lastly, Corey Kispert should also start and see big minutes as well and he’s cheap everywhere, but he is an MME type of play as he doesn’t see a ton of usage in this offense.

5-star play: Kyle Kuzma

4-star play: Cade Cunningham, Saddiq Bey, Jerami Grant, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

Deeper Value: Thomas Bryant, Daniel Gafford, Kelly Olynyk, Cory Joseph

GPP Sleeper: Daniel Gafford, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

Atlanta Hawks @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: 223.5

Vegas Spread: Bos -6.5

Starting with the Hawks, Trae Young is gonna be the premier play on this team, but he does draw a tougher matchup here as he’ll see a lot of Marcus Smart. John Collins is likely going to be out here again, that makes Danilo Gallinari a decent play here as he has been starting in his place, but I’d really want De’Andre Hunter to be out as well before I get too high on him. Bogdan Bogdanovic has been running the 2nd unit as well and he’s a solid play here, along with Kevin Huerter as both of those guys should see around 30 minutes here, they are deeper MME type plays for sure. Lastly, Clint Capela is really solid here, but he draws a tough matchup as RWIII has been playing some fantastic defense, but the price is definitely hard to pass up on both sites.

Now for the Celtics, they’re continuing to stay hot after the ASB and they are coming off their worst game in awhile, so I expect them to bounce right back here tonight. Derrick White is a great addition to this team, even coming off the bench he is solid, but if he were to get that starting role he’d likely be a core play for me tonight. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are both in play here as well, I like Brown a bit better for the discount but both are in play today and frankly Brown has been the better of the two especially when it comes from a FP/$ perspective which is what we are trying to maximize here. Robert Williams is also a very solid play here as they’ll need him on Capela, but that price has really crept up over the past few games. Al Horford is also in play here but he missed last game, if he were to miss again it would open up Grant Williams as a solid value play as he saw 34 minutes last game. Lastly, if you’re looking to get a bit different, Marcus Smart is still pretty cheap on DK, I like him if he continues to start here.

5-star play: Trae Young, Jaylen Brown

4-star play: Jayson Tatum, Robert Williams, Derrick White, Clint Capela, Bogdan Bogdanovic

Deeper Value: Marcus Smart, Grant Williams, Kevin Huerter

GPP Sleeper: Grant Williams (if Horford out)

Brooklyn Nets @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 219

Vegas Spread: Tor -8

Starting with the Nets, Kyrie Irving will be a premier play here tonight as James Harden is gone and KD is still out so he’ll run this Brooklyn offense since they are away here, he should be a great play here tonight as he’ll have a ton of usage, however, I’m not positive on the vaccine rules in Canada so that is something to keep an eye on. Seth Curry is seeing the most minutes of these BKN guards as well, but with Kyrie in tonight it hurts his upside a bit, along with Patty Mills, but both are still viable here tonight especially if Kyrie were to miss for any reason. Andre Drummond does have a good matchup here and he should see big minutes as well and this TOR frontcourt is a bit inexperienced. Bruce Brown has also been starting and seeing solid minutes, he does a bit of it all but he needs to start to be viable in GPPs here. Lastly, Cam Thomas saw the most minutes of anyone off the bench, but overall its just hard to trust anyone from this BKN team outside of Kyrie tonight.

Now for the Raptors, Pascal Siakam has cooled off a bit since the ASB, but his price has come way down and this is a great matchup for him tonight. Fred VanVleet has also been a bit banged up but if he suits up tonight then he is going to have a great matchup here as well. If he were to miss then Malachi Flynn would likely draw the start again here and be a really nice value play. Gary Trent has also been great lately but he is gonna be scoring dependent as long as FVV is healthy, but if he misses again then he’ll be a premier play tonight especially at that price on DK. Scottie Barnes is also in play here with OG likely out for a bit and he is coming off a monster game last night as well. If you want to get really deep, Precious Achiuwa and Khem Birch are splitting minutes at the 5 and I prefer the one who starts here tonight for value.

5-star play: Kyrie Irving

4-star play: Pascal Siakam, Andre Drummond, Seth Curry, Gary Trent, Scottie Barnes, Fred VanVleet (if in)

Deeper Value: Malachi Flynn, Precious Achiuwa, Bruce Brown, Cam Thomas

GPP Sleeper: Bruce Brown

Los Angeles Clippers @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total: 229.5

Vegas Spread: Lac -7

Starting with the Clippers, they haven’t been a great team to target from a fantasy perspective, but we’ll dive in here. Norman Powell is likely done for the year here, this makes Amir Coffey and Marcus Morris the main beneficiaries with my preference on Morris. Ivica Zubac is gonna be in a great matchup here as the Rockets don’t defend bigs at all, he should feast in this one. Overall I won’t be targeting this Clippers team much, but Reggie Jackson can light it up from time to time as he has been hot and just went off against this Rockets team as well.  Terance Mann has been playing fantastic over the past few games, he’s a sneaky target in GPPs tonight. Lastly, Isaiah Hartenstein has been seeing big minutes off the bench with Ibaka gone.

Now for the Rockets, Christian Wood is going to be their main source of offense here, and the rest comes down to the health of Kevin Porter Jr., if he is in tonight then it changes the value on this team big time. If he were to miss then Dennis Schroder would be a core play in all formats at his price. Jalen Green is a guy who has insane upside as well, but he is very streaky early in his career so I don’t love him outside of MME. Jae’Sean Tate is also pretty rock solid here tonight and he’s decently cheap, but he really needs Wood to be out to hit that lastly. Lastly, Eric Gordon is a deeper MME type play as well as he is very scoring dependent but can get hot from time to time.

5-star play: None

4-star play: Christian Wood, Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris, Ivica Zubac, Kevin Porter (if in)

Deeper Value: Dennis Schroder, Jae’Sean Tate, Eric Gordon, Amir Coffey, Terance Mann, Isaiah Hartenstein

GPP Sleeper: Jalen Green

Golden State Warriors @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Vegas Total: 231.5

Vegas Spread: Even

Now for the Warriors, it looks like Draymond will be out again here, but Steph Curry could be a slate breaker here, as he is looking to get his shot back as we saw in the All-Star game and this MIN defense is terrible as we know. Otto Porter will likely start at the 4 here, he’s been solid and is cheap on both sites with Draymond out. It looks like Klay Thompson will be out here tonight, which makes Andrew Wiggins playable here as the Warriors are pretty banged up right now and it also puts Jordan Poole into consideration as well as he’s decently priced and should start if Klay is out. Kevon Looney should also see big minutes here as the Warriors are really hurting for bodies in their frontcourt. If you’re looking to get really deep, Jonathan Kuminga started last game and he should see some solid minutes off the bench here.

Now for the Wolves, Karl-Anthony Towns has a great matchup here going up against Looney, as the GSW have been a bottom 5 team against bigs over the past few weeks. Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell are also both great plays here, but its a coin flip between which of them is going to go nuts, but in this matchup both of them could go crazy especially playing at home. Patrick Beverley has been nursing an injury, but he is in play as well if he starts here. Jarred Vanderbilt is also playing big minutes as well, but he’s a low usage guy in this offense. I don’t really have much interest in their bench guys, as a bunch of them rotate in and play less than 20 minutes so that’s about all I’d target from this Timberwolves team here tonight unless we get some major news.

5-star play: Steph Curry, Karl-Anthony Towns

4-star play: Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards

Deeper Value: Patrick Beverley, Jordan Poole, Kevon Looney, Jonathan Kuminga

GPP Sleeper: D’Angelo Russell

Dallas Mavericks @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total: 217

Vegas Spread: Dal -5.5

Starting with the Mavericks, the obvious play here is going to be Luka Doncic, as KP is gone and Hardaway is going to miss this game as well so he is a premier play here tonight. Jalen Brunson has become a very solid play as well with all these guys gone, and he is still a bit too cheap on both sites, but as long as Luka is healthy and Dinwiddie is in his upside will be a bit capped. Reggie Bullock has also been playing big minutes with Hardaway out and he is a decent value here. Outside of those guys I won’t really be targeting any of the Mavs as they aren’t a very friendly fantasy team. But if you want to get really deep, Maxi Kleber should split minutes at the 5 with Dwight Powell. Lastly, Spencer Dinwiddie is running that 2nd unit and he’s decently priced here as he could go nuts if this game gets ugly.

Now for the Lakers, the obvious play here will be LeBron James as AD is going to continue to be out here and he really does everything for this Lakers team. Russell Westbrook is also cheap on both sites here tonight, but as we all know he is having the worst year of his career here so he’s strictly GPP only here tonight. Dwight Howard should also be a core play once again here as he’s the only big the Lakers have right now. Austin Reaves has also been starting and playing solid minutes, he’s cheap on both sites as well but he isn’t a high usage guy here. Lastly, Malik Monk has also been solid and has nice upside here even with all these guards healthy for the Lakers.

5-star play: Luka Doncic, LeBron James

4-star play: Jalen Brunson, Spencer Dinwiddie, Russell Westbrook, Dwight Howard

Deeper Value: Austin Reaves, Malik Monk, Maxi Kleber, Reggie Bullock

GPP Sleeper: Dwight Howard
