Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Mike aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Boston Celtics
Vegas Total: 227.0
Vegas Spread: Bos -6.0
We’ll kick this slate off starting with the Wolves, Karl-Anthony Towns has been held under 40 DraftKings points in back-to-back games but I won’t talk you off of getting to him here at a nice price tag. Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell are pretty similar options here at similar price tags as well. The Celtics have been playing good defense as of late, so probably more of GPP guys than anything for me. Patrick Beverley had a down game last time out, but the price tag just doesn’t change on him, and will be a guy I have no issue going right back to here. Then we can round this team out with Jarred Vanderbilt as a tournament option if you need him on this shorter slate. From the Celtics, Jayson Tatum is going to look like a nice option here. Going back to the start of last season, he’s averaging 61.4 DraftKings points per game in two games against the Wolves. Jaylen Brown has been consistently in the 35-45 fantasy point range as of late and a guy I don’t mind getting to as a secondary option in all formats. I love the spot for Robert Williams, I’ll continue to target big men against this Wolves team, and the minutes have been fairly consistent for Williams since the All-Star break. He also has 1.05 fantasy points per minute with Al Horford off of the court this season. Then we can round this team out as Marcus Smart and Derrick White as secondary GPP options.
5-star play: Jayson Tatum, Robert Williams
4-star play: Anthony Edwards, D’Angelo Russell, Patrick Beverley, Jaylen Brown
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Anthony Edwards, D’Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, Marcus Smart, Derrick White

Golden State Warriors @ Washington Wizards
Vegas Total: 222.0
Vegas Spread: Gsw -7.5
Starting with the Warriors, they’ll continue to be without Steph Curry again here, below is how the rest of the team operates with him off of the court this season:
- Jordan Poole – 30.6% usage rate; 1.11 fpm
- Klay Thompson – 28.6% usage rate; 1.15 fpm
- Andrew Wiggins – 25.1% usage rate; 0.88 fpm
- Draymond Green – 12.3% usage rate; 0.84 fpm
Poole and Thompson would be my favorite options here but the whole team gets a great matchup against a bad Wizards defense. Poole has at least 45 DraftKings points in two straight games and I like his chances at it again tonight. Green’s minutes came back down again last night and I’m not sure that they’ll be fully back until the playoffs, so more of a fade at this price tag than anything. From the Wizards, they’ll be without Kyle Kuzma again meaning we can go right back to the well on Kristaps Porzinigs. He’s played 32 minutes in three straight games with at least 57 fantasy points in two of them. With Kuzma off of the court this season he has a 31.4% usage rate and 1.55 fantasy points per minute and should dominate this Warriors frontcourt. Deni Avdija had a huge first half last time out but cooled off in the second half, I have no issue going back to him here but not a priority by any means. Rui Hachimura and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are fine options as well, but not exactly huge per minute guys. Lastly, Tomas Satoransky got the start last time out and played 29 minutes, assuming he starts again here he’ll look like a nice value option in all formats.
5-star play: Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson, Kristaps Porzingis
4-star play: Andrew Wiggins, Deni Avdija, Rui Hachimura, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Tomas Satoransky
Deeper Value: Tomas Satoransky
GPP Sleeper: Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Kevon Looney, Jonathan Kuminga, Otto Porter Jr., Corey Kispert, Ish Smith
Philadelphia 76ers @ Phoenix Suns
Vegas Total: 229.0
Vegas Spread: Pho -5.0
Starting with the Sixers, it’s going to continue to be a two-man team for me with Joel Embiid and James Harden right now and all the usage they’re demanding. Joel Embiid is in great form and dropped 61 DraftKings points in this spot earlier this season. James Harden finally had a big game last time out, getting over the 60 fantasy point mark. I don’t have an issue getting back to him here, but has been less than consistent compared to his price range since joining the Sixers. With those two eating up most of the usage it doesn’t leave a whole lot out there for Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris and will probably be guys I’m underweight on due to the size of the slate, however, they’ve been in solid enough form where I won’t talk you off of them. From the Suns, they got Chris Paul back last time out and he returned to play 30 minutes which is much more than I was expecting. He had a nice game and seems to be a full go, the price tag is too low, and will be a guy I like quite a bit tonight. Devin Booker wasn’t negatively impacted by Paul returning in the slightest. He went out and dropped 78.5 DraftKings points on the Nuggets, and even though I don’t love the price tag on him here, I won’t talk you off of getting to him. Deandre Ayton will have his hands full with Embiid down low, but I don’t have a problem getting to him at this price tag if you happened to fall on him. Then we can round this Suns team out with Mikal Bridges and Jae Crowder as secondary GPP options.
5-star play: Joel Embiid, Chris Paul
4-star play: James Harden, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris, Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder
Los Angeles Lakers @ New Orleans Pelicans

Starting with the Lakers, LeBron James comes into this one as questionable, which is pretty much the norm at this point. I’ll operate under the assumption that he plays but always keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates. LeBron has at least 61 DraftKings points in three straight games and will be one of the better spend-up options on the slate. Russell Westbrook has been in better form as of late as well with at least 46 DraftKings points in four straight games. I still think he’s more of a tournament guy but worth noting at the very least. Malik Monk bounced back nicely last time out and will look like a good enough secondary GPP option. Then we can round the Lakers out with Carmelo Anthony and Wenyen Gabriel as solid secondary options. Gabriel has looked good as of late. From the Pels, Brandon Ingram missed yesterday’s game and will likely come into this one as questionable. I’ll operate under the assumption that he plays due to it being a revenge game and coming off of a rest night last night. He scored 40 FanDuel points in this matchup earlier this season and will look like a solid secondary option. CJ McCollum will continue to look like a nice option here and is a guy I have no issue going back to in all formats. I’m going to continue to target this Lakers team with opposing big men as their first line of defense is a combination of LeBron at center followed by Dwight Howard and Wenyen Gabriel, so Jonas Valanciunas will look like a nice option here. Then, I would have more interest in Devonte’ Graham if Ingram were out but is a fine GPP option regardless.
5-star play: LeBron James
4-star play: Russell Westbrook, Malik Monk, Wenyen Gabriel, Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum, Jonas Valanciuas
Deeper Value: Wenyen Gabriel
GPP Sleeper: Malik Monk, Carmelo Anthony, Devonte’ Graham
I wanted to give a quick shoutout to VIP member “GhostfaceKillaa” on his $30k win earlier in the season. A pivot to Curry off the chalky Doncic was the key for him, congrats man!
Charlotte Hornets @ Brooklyn Nets
Vegas Total: 237.0
Vegas Spread: Bkn -7.0
Starting with the Hornets, LaMelo Ball has been in more consistent form as of late and this is a matchup I don’t have an issue going right back to him here. Terry Rozier has cooled off a bit as of late with the consistency of Ball. I’ve been leaning Rozier since the all-star break due to the discount you get on him, but if Ball is going to continue to produce, he’d be my preferred option. Miles Bridges is coming off of a 50 burger against the Jazz and will be a guy you can go right back to here as well, he’s too cheap in a nice matchup. Then we get to the trio of Montrezl Harrell, PJ Washington, and Mason Plumlee who will share center minutes. My favorite option would be Washington due to the minutes security, but they’re all GPP guys. The minutes haven’t really been there for Kelly Oubre as of late which warrants his current price tag, I’ll wait for the minutes to come up before I risk going to him. From the Nets, Kyrie Irving will be able to make his home debut here as New York finally changed their vaccine mandate. The price tag is huge but he’s been in great form outside of his last game, I have no issue going back to him as a spend-up option in a great matchup. Kevin Durant had a rough go of it last night as well, but this is a much better matchup and will be a guy I like on the high end again here. Andre Drummond will look like a fine option, but I don’t know that we’ll need him on this slate at his current price tag. The rest of this team would be more of tournament options due to the majority of usage being soaked up by Kyrie and Durant, but guys like Seth Curry, Goran Dragic, Nic Claxton, and Bruce Brown will fall into this group.
5-star play: Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Miles Bridges
4-star play: LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, Andre Drummond
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: PJ Washington, Montrezl Harrell, Mason Plumlee, Seth Curry, Goran Dragic, Bruce Brown
Utah Jazz @ Dallas Mavericks
Vegas Total: 223.5
Vegas Spread: Dal -2.5
Starting with the Jazz, the only guy that they’ll be missing tonight is Bojan Bogdanovic again as he’s missed the past few games. Donovan Mitchell looks like a solid option again here, the Mavs are a great matchup for opposing guards. I do like Rudy Gobert as well, I like targeting this Mavs frontcourt with opposing big men. Jordan Clarkson has been pretty solid as of late with at least 30 FanDuel points in five of his last six games and is in play for tournaments as always. Mike Conley has been in much better form over his last handful of games and makes sense as a filler piece at a nice price tag. From the Mavericks, Luka Doncic returned last time out and looked solid against the Wolves. I have no issue going right back to him here even in a tougher matchup against the Jazz. Doncic being back will hurt Spencer Dinwiddie and Jalen Brunson so we can go underweight on them again here. Outside of Luka, there isn’t a whole lot that I love on the Mavs, but do think guys like Dorian Finney-Smith and Dwight Powell are roster-able at the very least due to the size they’ll need down low against this Jazz frontcourt.
5-star play: Luka Doncic
4-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Jordan Clarkson, Mike Conley
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Jordan Clarkson, Dorian Finney-Smith, Dwight Powell

NBA Lock of the Day: Robert Williams (DK – $6.0k; FD – $6.8k)
The Celtics will be without Al Horford again tonight which will set up well for Robert Williams against a bad Wolves defense. He’s averaged 38 DraftKings points per game in nine games this season with Horford out, and I love the matchup here. At this point in the day, I would think he makes my core, but check out our VIP Cheat Sheets as we get closer to lock for staff picks on Core plays, 8x locks of the day, and tiers notes as well!
