Phoenix Suns @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: 217

Vegas Spread: Phi -1

Starting with the Suns, Devin Booker has been on fire and continued that last night, he’s in play again here tonight on the 2nd half of a B2B. Chris Paul is also in play here but his price is sky high for some reason on both sites, the production has been there though to justify it. Mikal Bridges is also in play here as well but he has good upside and he’ll be low owned, but the floor is low as well. Jae Crowder broke out last night after a few weeks of mediocrity, but he’s still a GPP play at best. With it being the 2nd half of a B2B I could see Deandre Ayton resting here, as he was nursing that injury, but we shall see, either way its a tough matchup if he does play Lastly, Cameron Payne missed last night, and if you’re looking to get really deep, Elfrid Payton should see around 20-25 minutes off the bench and is near minimum on both sites.

Now for the 76ers, the obvious top play here is going to be Joel Embiid, as this is a statement game that the 76ers will want to win at home, Ayton is solid defensively but he is matchup proof. Tobias Harris is always safe for cash games, but he is priced up to right around 5x value which doesn’t do a lot these days. Tyrese Maxey has also been on fire lately, but he draws a tough matchup here against CP3, which makes me like Seth Curry more in GPPs. That is about all I want to target here though as this is one of the lower totals on the night.

5-star play: Devin Booker, Joel Embiid

4-star play: Chris Paul, Tobias Harris, Seth Curry, Tyrese Maxey, Deandre Ayton

Deeper Value: Elfrid Payton, Seth Curry, Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder

GPP Sleeper: Jae Crowder

Indiana Pacers @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 226.5

Vegas Spread: Atl – 9.5

Starting with the Pacers, they are still going to be shorthanded here which should keep this game decently close. Caris LeVert was traded to the Cavs, so that opens up a ton of usage for this backcourt. Keifer Sykes and Duane Washington are going to be your main targets here, as it looks like Brogdon will be out until after the All-Star break. Both are great value plays here with LeVert gone. Goga Bitadze has been playing very well, but Domantas Sabonis returned last game. Sabonis is going to be a premier play here tonight with LeVert gone. Chris Duarte is also a very nice mid-range play here and he could be a slate breaker if he gets hot from 3. If you’re looking to get different in GPPS, Justin Holiday and Torrey Craig are decent GPP options.

Now for the Hawks, Trae Young is going to be your main target here, as he has 60+ upside when he gets hot and on an 10 game slate I don’t see him being too highly owned. Clint Capela has a good matchup here as well, but his role has been dwindling and he hasn’t been playing in the 4th quarter for some reason over the last few games. Those are my two main targets here, but if you’re looking to get a bit different, John Collins, De’Andre Hunter, and Kevin Huerter are all viable here tonight, with my favorite being Hunter as Cam Reddish is now out of the picture. Overall this is a game that I’ll have some interest in here as it is a decent total and the Pacers aren’t playing defense at all lately.

5-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Trae Young

4-star play: John Collins, De’Andre Hunter, Goga Bitadze, Keifer Sykes, Chris Duarte

Deeper Value: Kevin Huerter, Duane Washington, Goga Bitadze

GPP Sleeper: Justin Holiday, Torrey Craig, Keifer Sykes

Boston Celtics @ Brooklyn Nets

Vegas Total: 217.5

Vegas Spread: Bos -6

Starting with the Celtics, Jayson Tatum gets one of his best matchups of the year here, as the Nets have been historically bad against opposing 3/4s all year long, but he always seems to disappoint at this price tag. Jaylen Brown is also a solid option here if you want to get Tatumish upside at a discount. Al Horford also gets a solid matchup here, as this Nets team doesn’t play much defense. Robert Williams III is always in play with his upside, but he is definitely volatile as well. Dennis Schroder is a guy you can round things out with, as he is running the 2nd unit here as Marcus Smart has taken over the starting PG role.

Now for the Nets, Kyrie Irving will be out here due to it being in Brooklyn, and with KD already out here that will make James Harden a likely core play on this slate, he always plays well against Boston and he’ll have a near 40% usage rate here. Blake Griffin saw 30 minutes last game with Aldridge out, and he’s out again tonight as well. Patty Mills, Kessler Edwards and James Johnson have all been starting as well, they’ll be some guys I target in GPPs and if you want to get really deep, Cam Thomas and DeAndre’ Bembry are seeing big minutes off the bench as well.

5-star play: James Harden

4-star play: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Robert Williams, Al Horford, Blake Griffin, Patty Mills

Deeper Value: Dennis Schroder, Marcus Smart, Kessler Edwards, James Johnson

GPP Sleeper: Patty Mills

Los Angeles Clippers @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: 228

Vegas Spread: Mem -8.5

Starting with the Clippers, they’ve been a bit of a dumpster fire lately but they have a few viable options. Amir Coffey has been playing the most minutes out of any of them, as he should see 30+ again here but I don’t have much faith in this Clippers team from a fantasy perspective. Ivica Zubac is gonna be in a tougher spot here, but he’s been solid and this Clippers team is surprisingly decent with all the comebacks they have this year. Overall I won’t be targeting this Clippers team outside of Coffey myself, but if you’re in need of some GPP options, Reggie Jackson can light it up from time to time, and Terance Mann has shown upside at times as well and this should be a high total game here which is nice to target. Lastly, Isaiah Hartenstein should see solid minutes as well if Serge Ibaka is out again, he’s a decent value play either way.

Now for the Grizzlies, Ja Morant is starting to reach superstar level, as he comes in here white hot and I don’t expect him to slow down at all in this one, great play here tonight. Desmond Bane is also back here so he’ll have to help Ja out with the scoring and he is in a good spot here as he is cheap and Brooks is still out. Steven Adams should be able to get whatever he wants here as well, as Zubac is basically a revolving door at the rim. Jaren Jackson is also always in play for GPPs as he has insane upside when he can keep his hands to himself, but the price has come up on him as well.

5-star play: Ja Morant

4-star play: Amir Coffey, Reggie Jackson, Jaren Jackson, Desmond Bane

Deeper Value: Isaiah Hartenstein, Steven Adams, Terance Mann, Ivica Zubac

GPP Sleeper: Isaiah Hartenstein

Houston Rockets @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total: 229

Vegas Spread: Nop -8.5

Starting with the Rockets, they come in almost at full strength here, but as of right now their best player is going to be Christian Wood. He has been dominant offensively and could take advantage of JoVal and his slow feet, I like the matchup for him here tonight. Kevin Porter Jr. is also always in play for GPPs as he can get hot at any given moment and light it up as can Jalen Green, however both are volatile so they’ll be GPP only plays here tonight. Jae’Sean Tate has also been solid for the Rockets, but he doesn’t really hit his ceiling unless Wood is out, but he is viable here as well. Lastly, you can round out your MME lineups with a few shares of Eric Gordon in hopes that he gets hot from the field but he rarely hits that ceiling unless one of KPJ or Green is out.

Now for the Pelicans, Jonas Valanciunas has a premier matchup here tonight as this Rockets team has been bleeding FPs to opposing bigs all year long. Brandon Ingram is also in here tonight, and he just had a very solid game against this Rockets team a few nights ago. Josh Hart is also a solid play here in all formats, as he does a lot for this Pels team and the price is solid on both sites. Devonte’ Graham is in play for GPPs here as well, and if you want to get really deep, Nickeil Alexander-Walker has been playing a lot of minutes off the bench, but his ceiling is gonna be limited here with Graham and Ingram both in here. UPDATE: Josh Hart and Nickeil Alexander-Walker have been traded to the Trailblazers

5-star play: Christian Wood, Jonas Valanciunas

4-star play: Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, Kevin Porter Jr., Jae’Sean Tate

Deeper Value: Devonte’ Graham, Eric Gordon, Jalen Green

GPP Sleeper: Jalen Green

Detroit Pistons @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: 213.5

Vegas Spread: Dal -11

Starting with the Pistons, Cade Cunningham is a GTD here tonight, if he were to miss then it would open up a lot of value at the guard spot, specifically Cory Joseph and Killian Hayes. Saddiq Bey has been a scoring machine at times this year as well, he is a slate breaker at this price if Cunningham is out as his usage will go way up. The health of Kelly Olynyk will also be a factor here, he played last game, but if he were to miss for any reason it would open up a lot for Isaiah Stewart and Trey Lyles. Jerami Grant has also returned and he is priced nicely on both sites as well, he has nice upside especially if Cunningham misses.

Now for the Mavericks, the obvious play here is going to be Luka Doncic, as KP has already been ruled out and Hardaway is also likely out here. Jalen Brunson will also see a big uptick in usage with KP and Hardaway out, he may be a core play here tonight depending on how things shake out. Reggie Bullock has also been playing big minutes with Hardaway out and he is a decent value here. Outside of those guys I won’t really be targeting any of the Mavs unless we get word that its a Boban night.

5-star play: Luka Doncic

4-star play: Jalen Brunson, Saddiq Bey, Jalen Brunson, Kelly Olynyk, Jerami Grant

Deeper Value: Reggie Bullock, Cory Joseph, Killian Hayes, Trey Lyles

GPP Sleeper: Jerami Grant, Cory Joseph

New York Knicks @ Denver Nuggets

Vegas Total: 217.5

Vegas Spread: Den -7.5

Starting with the Knicks, they’re on the 2nd half of a B2B here on a western road trip so I’m not expecting too much out of them. Julius Randle, has a decent matchup here and he’s been playing better as of late. Mitchell Robinson has also been playing very well and he is coming off a monster game, but draws a much tougher matchup here tonight. RJ Barrett has been on fire as well the past few games, and if Cam Reddish is still not too involved here which leaves Evan Fournier in play as well. If you’re looking to get deeper, Immanuel Quickley and Alec Burks would also be viable if Kemba Walker were to miss like he did last night.

Now for the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic is coming off of a string of monster games and there’s no reason that he can’t repeat that in this matchup, the Knicks can’t stop anyone inside and he’ll have near 40% usage. Will Barton also had a big first half and draws a good matchup here and the Nuggets are still hurting at guard with all the injuries. Bryn Forbes’ role is increasing though, he is a solid value play here tonight especially if he starts. Monte Morris is in play here if you’re looking to get really deep, he’s flashed upside at times this year but is very volatile. Aaron Gordon‘s ceiling is gonna be capped as long as Jokic is healthy so he’ll be GPP only and if you’re looking to go really deep here then Jeff Green is seeing significant minutes as a starter, but he is a low usage player in this offense.

5-star play: Nikola Jokic

4-star play: RJ Barrett, Julius Randle, Alec Burks, Will Barton

Deeper Value: Bryn Forbes, Monte Morris, Immanuel Quickley

GPP Sleeper: Bryn Forbes

Milwaukee Bucks @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total: 231

Vegas Spread: Mil -4.5

Starting with the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo draws a great matchup here tonight and he has slate breaking potential anytime he steps on the court, especially in a game like this where you know he wants to beat LeBron. Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton are both in play here as well but Middleton’s price has come up a big time on both sites, but they’ll need more than Giannis to step up if they want to beat the Lakers. Bobby Portis is viable here as well, but with the Bucks almost back at full strength his usage does take a hit. If you’re looking to get a bit different, Pat Connaughton is also viable here as he has been starting at the 2, but Grayson Allen started last game so keep an eye there.

Now for the Lakers, both Anthony Davis and LeBron James are both probable here, either could break the slate tonight especially in a matchup like this, but I like LeBron more. Russell Westbrook is also going to be in play here, but his usage takes a major hit with both of those guys likely to play. Malik Monk is playing huge minutes, and they’re high on him as well, as am I in GPPs here tonight. Trevor Ariza is also seeing big minutes off the bench, he’s a decent value here as is Stanley Johnson who is hanging onto his starting role. That’s about all I want to touch from this Lakers squad though.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James

4-star play: Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, Russell Westbrook

Deeper Value: Malik Monk, Stanley Johnson, Trevor Ariza

GPP Sleeper: Trevor Ariza

Orlando Magic @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: 223.5

Vegas Spread: Por -3.5

Starting with the Magic, Cole Anthony is on a mission right now, and the matchup doesn’t get much better for him here tonight. Jalen Suggs has also been performing very well and he’s a nice mid range option here too as his matchup is fantastic as well. Mo Bamba is still very cheap on FanDuel and has flashed 50+ upside, and this matchup is solid for him as well. Wendell Carter has also been super consistent but he’s just a bit too pricey for me to love him here tonight. Lastly, Franz Wagner has lit it up at times, but with the Magic basically at full strength his usage does drop off but this is a nice matchup for the Magic here especially with McCollum getting traded.

Now for the Trailblazers,  CJ McCollum has been traded to the Pelicans, so that’ll open up a ton of usage on this Blazers team. Anfernee Simons is going to have a ton of usage here with McCollum gone, and Norman Powell will also be a very viable play here as well. Dennis Smith Jr. will also likely start here with McCollum gone. Robert Covington gets a slight bump with Little out but he is still a low usage guy in this offense. Lastly, Jusuf Nurkic is a guy you can target here as well as his usage will also skyrocket with the departure of McCollum.

5-star play: Jusuf Nurkic

4-star play: Anfernee Simons, Cole Anthony, Jalen Suggs, Mo Bamba, Franz Wagner, Norman Powell

Deeper Value: Robert Covington, Dennis Smith Jr.

GPP Sleeper: Dennis Smith Jr., Jalen Suggs

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total: 234.5

Vegas Spread: Min -5

Starting with the Timberwolves, this is going to be a great matchup for them, as we have the highest total game on the slate and its the hammer game. Karl-Anthony Towns has the best matchup as the Kings are lost against bigs even with Holmes back. D’Angelo Russell is also still nursing that calf injury, so I can see him missing tonight. Anthony Edwards will see a big increase in usage, I love him here tonight in a game environment where he should thrive. Jarred Vanderbilt would also see an increase in usage and he’s been very solid the past few games. If Russell misses as well I’d expect Jaylen Nowell to start and he would be a nice value play here. Lastly, I’d also expect Taurean Prince to start as well but he is a deep MME type play. A lot of guys on this Timberwolves team have popped up as GTD’s though so keep an eye on news.

Now for the Kings, De’Aaron Fox is a GTD again here and he’s missed the past few games so that is something to monitor. With him out, Tyrese Haliburton becomes a premier play but we likely won’t get word until after lock. Davion Mitchell has also been starting in Fox’s place, but his price has come up across all sites. Harrison Barnes’ production has ticked upward and he has a decent matchup here at this price. Richaun Holmes is also a full go here, and we know that you can attack KAT as he is pretty bad defensively. Maurice Harkless has also rejoined the rotation, he is a decent value if you’re looking to get really deep here in GPPs.

5-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns, Tyrese Haliburton, Anthony Edwards

4-star play: Jarred Vanderbilt, Patrick Beverley, Davion Mitchell, Richaun Holmes

Deeper Value: Maurice Harkless, Jaylen Nowell, Taurean Prince

GPP Sleeper: Taurean Prince
