Cleveland Cavaliers @ Atlanta Hawks

Starting with the Cavs, they just continue to look better and better as the year goes on, as Caris LeVert has joined the squad, and Darius Garland is playing well, the two make a nice backcourt tandem but I wouldn’t pair them here tonight. Jarrett Allen has a good matchup here, and I like both him and Evan Mobley here tonight. Kevin Love is still seeing big minutes off the bench, as is Rajon Rondo, but he’ll be a much better value if Garland misses. Lastly, Isaac Okoro saw 30+ last game as well and he’s cheap on both sites but he isn’t a high usage guy, but if he continues to start he is going to be in play.
Now for the Hawks, Trae Young is gonna be the premier play on this team, as the Cavs don’t really have anyone that can contain him. John Collins is going to be out here again, that makes Danilo Gallinari a decent play here as he has been starting in his place, but he only played 23 minutes last game. Bogdan Bogdanovic has been running the 2nd unit as well and he’s a solid play here, along with Kevin Huerter as both of those guys should see around 30 minutes here. Lastly, Clint Capela is really solid here even in a tougher matchup as he’s cheap and they’ll need him to play more minutes with Collins out.
5-star play: Trae Young
4-star play: Caris LeVert, Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Clint Capela
Deeper Value: Rajon Rondo, Kevin Huerter, Isaac Okoro
GPP Sleeper: Isaac Okoro
Dallas Mavericks @ Miami Heat
Vegas Total: 209
Vegas Spread: Mia -3.5
Starting with the Mavericks, the obvious play here is going to be Luka Doncic, as KP is gone and Hardaway is also likely still going to be out here as well. Jalen Brunson has become a very solid play as well with all these guys gone, and he is still a bit too cheap on both sites. Reggie Bullock has also been playing big minutes with Hardaway out and he is a decent value here. Outside of those guys I won’t really be targeting any of the Mavs unless we get word that its a Boban night. But if you want to get really deep, Maxi Kleber should start and see solid minutes as should Dwight Powell. But overall this Mavericks team isn’t very fantasy friendly outside of Luka and Jalen.
Now for the Heat, Jimmy Butler has a really solid matchup here as the Mavericks have been slacking on defense a bit lately, and he does it all for this Heat team. Kyle Lowry has also been playing very well, and draws a solid matchup for GPPs tonight. Bam Adebayo has been back as well and he’s been great, he draws a solid matchup as the Mavs don’t really have anyone to stop him. PJ Tucker is a deep flier you can take as well in this matchup but not someone I’m seeking out like ever, especially on a bigger slate like this. Tyler Herro is also in play here, but his ceiling takes a hit when Butler and Lowry are both back, overall this has the lowest total on the slate so it won’t be a game I’m targeting heavily.
5-star play: Luka Doncic
4-star play: Jalen Brunson, Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, Bam Adebayo
Deeper Value: Tyler Herro, Maxi Kleber, Reggie Bullock, PJ Tucker
GPP Sleeper: Maxi Kleber

Boston Celtics @ Philadelphia 76ers
Vegas Total: 210
Vegas Spread: Bos -2
Starting with the Celtics, they’re on an 8 game winning streak and they’ve been playing really good basketball, especially defense. Derrick White is a great addition to this team, I’d expect him to be the starting PG moving forward and he is a solid play here today, even if he continues to come off the bench. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are both in play here as well, I like Brown a bit better for the discount but both are in play today. Robert Williams is also finding his way as he had a great game against Jokic the other night and he’ll be tasked with guarding Embiid here tonight. Al Horford is also in play here but I prefer Williams still as he’ll be on the court anytime Embiid is. Lastly, if you’re looking to get a bit different, Marcus Smart is still pretty cheap on DK, I like him if he continues to start here.
Now for the 76ers, the obvious top play here is going to be Joel Embiid, as this is a statement game that the 76ers will want to win at home, and they want to stop this Celtics team before they begin to catch them in the East. James Harden is still going to be out here, so Tobias Harris is always safe for cash games, but he is priced up to right around 5x value which doesn’t do a lot these days for GPP play. Tyrese Maxey has also been on fire lately, but he draws a tougher matchup here going up against Smart. Matisse Thybulle and Furkan Korkmaz should both start again here as well and both are viable for value, and if you’re looking to get really deep, Shake Milton has been running the second unit and he’s cheap on both sites.
5-star play: Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum
4-star play: Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, Robert Williams, Al Horford, Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey, Marcus Smart
Deeper Value: Shake Milton, Matisse Thybulle, Furkan Korkmaz
GPP Sleeper: Shake Milton, Derrick White
Indiana Pacers @ Milwaukee Bucks
Vegas Total: 234
Vegas Spread: Mil -12.5
Starting with the Pacers, they’re basically a new team halfway through the season, Tyrese Haliburton has the reigns right now, as Brogdon is still nursing that achilles injury, I’d expect them to keep him out until after the All-Star Break so he’ll be a premier play again here tonight. Buddy Hield should also see increased usage here as Duarte went down last game and I’d expect him to be out tonight. Goga Bitadze is now their big man and he has some nice upside at this price, and if Oshae Brissett starts again he’ll likely be a core play for me today. If you’re looking to get deeper, Jalen Smith will play the most minutes off the bench and he’s been really solid. Also, with Duarte out, it puts Lance Stephenson back into play as Lamb should also likely miss here.
The big news here will obviously be the health of Giannis Antetokounmpo, he missed last night and if I were a betting man based on the line I’d say he is in tonight, but they could also rest him till after the All-Star break which would be the smart thing. He is obviously a premier play against this Indy team but if he misses then Serge Ibaka and Jordan Nwora will both become premier value plays as Ibaka started for him last night. It would also be a major boost for both Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, I like both of them but pick the cheaper one on each site. Grayson Allen also has his starting role back and he’s decent for value here, and of course you can go to Bobby Portis if Giannis misses again here.
5-star play: Tyrese Haliburton
4-star play: Oshae Brissett, Giannis Antetokounmpo (if in), Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis, Buddy Hield
Deeper Value: Grayson Allen, Serge Ibaka, Jordan Nwora, Lance Stephenson, Jalen Smith
GPP Sleeper: Jalen Smith
Charlotte Hornets @ Minnesota Timberwolves
Vegas Total: 245
Vegas Spread: Min -6
Starting with the Hornets, Gordon Hayward is gonna likely be out here again tonight, Kelly Oubre is going to be the main beneficiary there, he is a solid play in GPPs. LaMelo Ball is still too cheap on FanDuel, and the Wolves are mediocre against PGs and he has some nice upside at this price, both him and Terry Rozier put up 60+ FP performances just a few games ago and we have an insane total on this game. Miles Bridges has a solid matchup here as well, I love him in GPPs as he’ll be lower owned than Rozier and LaMelo. To round it out for value, PJ Washington is going to be one of the better value plays on this slate as he has been super consistent and he’s still pretty cheap everywhere, if you want to get really deep as well, Montrezl Harrell will take the majority of the minutes at the 5 here and this is a great matchup for him.
This is the game we’re going to want to target heavily here, as the total is sky high once again as the Wolves are playing fast. Karl-Anthony Towns has a great matchup here as its been well documented that Charlotte is horrible against bigs and can’t rebound. Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell are also both great plays here, but its a coin flip between which of them is going to go nuts, but in this matchup both of them could go crazy. Patrick Beverley has been nursing an injury, but he is in play as well if he starts here as well. Jarred Vanderbilt is also playing big minutes as well, but he’s a low usage guy in this offense. I don’t really have much interest in their bench guys, as a bunch of them rotate in and play less than 20 minutes, I’d only touch Naz Reid here as they’ll need him to matchup against Trez with the second unit.
5-star play: LaMelo Ball, Karl-Anthony Towns
4-star play: Terry Rozier, Kelly Oubre, Miles Bridges, Anthony Edwards, D’Angelo Russell
Deeper Value: Jarred Vanderbilt, Naz Reid, PJ Washington, Patrick Beverley
GPP Sleeper: Montrezl Harrell
Memphis Grizzlies @ New Orleans Pelicans
Vegas Total: 228
Vegas Spread: Mem -4.5
Starting with the Grizzlies, Ja Morant has reach superstar level, as he comes in here white hot and I don’t expect him to slow down at all in this one, great play here tonight especially going up against this Pelicans defense coming off a massive blowout of the Raptors last night. Desmond Bane is also solid here, and he’ll have to help Ja out with the scoring and he is in a good spot here as he is cheap and Brooks is still out. Steven Adams should be able to get whatever he wants here as well, as we know that you can target bigs against the Pels. Jaren Jackson is also always in play for GPPs as he has insane upside when he can keep his hands to himself, this is going to be a constant from him in his career moving forward.
Now for the Pelicans, Jonas Valanciunas has been solid, and he gets to go up against his old team so there is a bit of a revenge factor here. Brandon Ingram is also in here tonight, but the addition of CJ McCollum will effect his usage going forward, CJ is also a solid play here tonight as well in GPPs in his new role. McCollum has had a few massive games already playing for the Pels, but him and Ingram together will eat into each other’s usage. Devonte’ Graham is in play for GPPs here as well, and if you want to get really deep, Jose Alvarado is seeing solid minutes off the bench and Herbert Jones is also still starting and playing heavy minutes.
5-star play: Ja Morant
4-star play: Jonas Valanciunas, Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson
Deeper Value: Devonte’ Graham, Herbert Jones, Jose Alvarado, Steven Adams
GPP Sleeper: CJ McCollum, Jaren Jackson
Los Angeles Clippers @ Phoenix Suns
Vegas Total: 223.5
Vegas Spread: Phx -13
Starting with the Clippers, they haven’t been a great team to target from a fantasy perspective, but we’ll dive in here. Norman Powell is likely done for the year here, this makes Amir Coffey and Marcus Morris the main beneficiaries with my preference on Morris. Ivica Zubac is gonna be in a tougher spot here, but he’s been solid and this Clippers team is surprisingly decent with all the comebacks they have this year, they should not have won last night and smoked the Warriors. Overall I won’t be targeting this Clippers team much, but Reggie Jackson can light it up from time to time, and Terance Mann has been playing fantastic over the past few games, he’s a sneaky target in GPPs tonight. Lastly, Isaiah Hartenstein should see solid minutes here with Serge Ibaka gone now as well.
Now for the Suns, Devin Booker is going to be the main target here, he is a great GPP option here especially if this game can stay close. Chris Paul is also in play here but his price is still a bit crazy for him, the production has been there though to justify it but he’s not as good of a play as Booker. Mikal Bridges is also in play here as well but he has good upside and he’ll be low owned, but the floor is low as well. Jae Crowder is in play here, but he’s still a GPP play at best and not really someone I’m targeting too heavily tonight. Deandre Ayton also has a great matchup here as the Clippers are bleeding FPs to bigs over their last 7 games. Lastly, Cameron Payne missed last night, and if you’re looking to get really deep, Elfrid Payton should see around 20-25 minutes off the bench and is near minimum on both sites, he could be a slate breaker if this game gets ugly.
5-star play: Devin Booker
4-star play: Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton, Marcus Morris, Reggie Jackson, Terance Mann
Deeper Value: Isaiah Hartenstein, Amir Coffey, Ivica Zubac, Elfrid Payton, Jae Crowder
GPP Sleeper: Terance Mann
