2/13 NBA DFS Full Court Press
Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Steve aka @Mutt18 on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. Atlanta Hawks @ Boston Celtics
Vegas Total: 220.5
Vegas Spread: Bos -6.5
Starting with the Hawks, Trae Young is gonna be the premier play on this team, but the Celtics have been playing stellar defense these past few weeks so I don’t love many of he Hawks here tonight. John Collins got hurt last game, and he is likely out here, that makes Danilo Gallinari one of the premier value plays on this 2 gamer today. Bogdan Bogdanovic has been running the 2nd unit as well and he’s a solid play here, along with Kevin Huerter as both of those guys should see around 30 minutes here. Lastly, Clint Capela is really solid here even in a tougher matchup as he’s cheap and they’ll need him to play more minutes with Collins out.
Now for the Celtics, they’re on a 7 game winning streak and they’ve been playing really good basketball. Derrick White is a great addition to this team, I’d expect him to be the starting PG moving forward and he is a solid play here today. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are both in play here as well, I like Brown a bit better for the discount but both are in play today. Robert Williams is also finding his way as he had a great game against Jokic and this matchup is even easier. Al Horford is also in play here but I prefer Williams on this 2 gamer. Lastly, if you’re looking to get a bit different, Marcus Smart should run the 2nd unit here and he should be low owned.
5-star play: Trae Young, Jayson Tatum
4-star play: Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, Robert Williams, Al Horford, Clint Capela
Deeper Value: Danilo Gallinari, Marcus Smart, Bogdan Bogdanovic
GPP Sleeper: Danilo Gallonari, Marcus Smart
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Indiana Pacers
Vegas Total: 237
Vegas Spread: Min -7
This is the game we’re going to want to target heavily here, as the total is sky high and on a 2 gamer that is what we want. Starting with the Wolves, Karl-Anthony Towns has a great matchup here as Indy plays 0 defense right now. Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell are also both great plays here, but its a coin flip between which of them is going to go nuts. Patrick Beverley has been nursing an injury, if he is out again here today then I’ll prefer Russell. Jarred Vanderbilt is also playing big minutes as well, but he’s a low usage guy in this offense. I don’t really have much interest in their bench guys, as a bunch of them rotate in and play less than 20 minutes.
Now for the Pacers, they’re basically a new team halfway through the season, Tyrese Haliburton has the reigns right now, as Brogdon is still nursing that achilles injury, I’d expect them to keep him out until after the All-Star Break. Buddy Hield and Chris Duarte are a nice duo as well, they should both be in store for huge minutes tonight and I like both of them here. Goga Bitadze is now their big man and he has some nice upside at this price, and if Oshae Brissett starts again he’ll likely be a core play for me today. If you’re looking to get deeper, Jalen Smith will play the most minutes off the bench as they want to develop him.

4-star play: Buddy Hield, Chris Duarte, Goga Bitadze, Patrick Beverley, Oshae Brissett
Deeper Value: Patrick Beverley, Jarred Vanderbilt
