New York Knicks @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: 217.5

Vegas Spread: Nyk -5

This is going to be an island game as it starts at 5, so it’ll be a showdown only game. Starting with the Knicks, Julius Randle, has a decent matchup here and he’s been playing better as of late, he should be able to get whatever he wants against this POR team. Mitchell Robinson has also been playing very well and he is coming off a few big games and he’s still decently cheap. RJ Barrett has been on fire as well but he missed last game, so if he misses again it makes Evan Fournier a decent play as well. If you’re looking to get deeper, Immanuel Quickley and Alec Burks would also be viable if Kemba Walker were to miss, and Quentin Grimes also started last game as well so he could be viable here as well.

Now for the Trailblazers,  CJ McCollum has been traded to the Pelicans, which has opened up a ton usage on this Blazers team. Anfernee Simons is going to have a ton of usage here with McCollum gone, and Norman Powell is also gone as well. CJ Elleby, Justise Winslow, and Ben McLemore should also start here as well, they’ve all been playing huge minutes and they are all very much in play in showdown. Jusuf Nurkic is also seeing big time usage and minutes, I love him in this matchup here. If you want to get different, Dennis Smith Jr. is the guy running the 2nd unit and seeing 20+ minutes off the bench.

5-star play: Jusuf Nurkic, Julius Randle

4-star play: Alec Burks, CJ Elleby, Justise Winslow, Ben McLemore, Anfernee Simons

Deeper Value: Quentin Grimes, Dennis Smith Jr., Evan Fournier, Immanuel Quickley

GPP Sleeper: Quentin Grimes, Justise Winslow

Memphis Grizzlies @ Charlotte Hornets

Vegas Total: 235.5

Vegas Spread: Mem -7

Starting with the Grizzlies, Ja Morant is starting to reach superstar level, as he comes in here white hot and I don’t expect him to slow down at all in this one, great play here tonight especially going up against another young star like LaMelo. Desmond Bane is also solid here, and he’ll have to help Ja out with the scoring and he is in a good spot here as he is cheap and Brooks is still out. Steven Adams should be able to get whatever he wants here as well, as we all know that we can target bigs against Charlotte. Jaren Jackson is also always in play for GPPs as he has insane upside when he can keep his hands to himself, but the price has come up on him as well and he is always a risk to get into foul trouble.

Now for the Hornets, Gordon Hayward is gonna likely be out here again tonight, Kelly Oubre is going to be the main beneficiary there. LaMelo Ball is still too cheap on FanDuel, and the Grizzlies are mediocre against PGs and he has some nice upside at this price, both him and Terry Rozier put up 60+ FP performances last game and their prices are still solid. Miles Bridges has a solid matchup here as well, I love him in GPPs as he’ll be lower owned than Rozier and LaMelo. To round it out for value, PJ Washington is going to be one of the better value plays on this slate as he has been super consistent and he’s still pretty cheap everywhere.

5-star play: Ja Morant, LaMelo Ball

4-star play: Terry Rozier, Kelly Oubre, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson, Miles Bridges

Deeper Value: PJ Washington, Steven Adams, Desmond Bane

GPP Sleeper: Montrezl Harrell, PJ Washington

Sacramento Kings @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: 222

Vegas Spread: Sac -3

Starting with the Kings, De’Aaron Fox is gonna be a premier play here, as this Kings team has really shaken up their guard rotation so that he can get heavy minutes now. Davion Mitchell should also start at the 2 and he’s been solid but the price is coming up. Harrison Barnes’ production has ticked upward and he has a decent matchup here at this price, he is coming off one of his best games of the year. Richaun Holmes is also a full go here, and we know that you can attack this Wizards team especially with Gafford likely out. Lastly, Domantas Sabonis has a great matchup here as well, and he is gonna be a big usage guy in this offense as they got him for a reason.

Now for the Wizards, they have been on a steady decline as the season wears on but they draw a good matchup here tonight and they are hurting for bodies here, so there should be some good value to be had. Kyle Kuzma is going to be your best option here, as Dinwiddie is gone and Beal is out. Raul Neto should start and run the point as well here and he’s still pretty cheap on both sites. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has had some big games this year when all these guys are out, I’ll be looking at him for value tonight as well and he should be low owned. Deni Avdija is also in play here as he should see solid minutes even if he comes off the bench. The Wizards also have Thomas Bryant back, but they’re monitoring his minutes and Anthony Gill played nearly 30 minutes so he’ll be the better option here. Lastly, Cody Kispert should also start and see big minutes as well and he’s cheap everywhere.

5-star play: De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, Kyle Kuzma

4-star play: Raul Neto, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Richaun Holmes, Davion Mitchell, Harrison Barnes

Deeper Value: Deni Avdija, Thomas Bryant, Anthony Gill, Cody Kispert

GPP Sleeper: Anthony Gill, Cody Kispert

San Antonio Spurs @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total: 226.5

Vegas Spread: Nop -4.5

Starting with the Spurs, they have a new look as well as they traded away Derrick White, which makes Dejounte Murray a premier play in all formats as he is coming off an 80 FP performance with him gone. Devin Vassell also started last game and he should see big minutes as well and he’s decently cheap on both sites still. Keldon Johnson has also been quietly playing really well, and he should be low owned in GPPs here tonight as well. Jakob Poeltl also draws a good matchup here as well, and if you want to get into that Spurs second unit, Lonnie Walker and Joshua Primo should be see some solid minutes, they are MME type plays though.

Now for the Pelicans, Jonas Valanciunas has a premier matchup here tonight as this Spurs team has been bleeding FPs to opposing bigs over their last 7 games. Brandon Ingram is also in here tonight, but the addition of CJ McCollum will effect his usage going forward, CJ is also a solid play here tonight as well in GPPs in his new role. Devonte’ Graham is in play for GPPs here as well, and if you want to get really deep, Jose Alvarado is seeing solid minutes off the bench and Herbert Jones is also still starting and playing heavy minutes with Zion likely out for the year.

5-star play: Dejounte Murray, Jonas Valanciunas

4-star play: Keldon Johnson, Jakob Poeltl, CJ McCollum, Brandon Ingram

Deeper Value: Devonte’ Graham, Jose Alvarado, Joshua Primo, Lonnie Walker

GPP Sleeper: Jose Alvarado

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: 206.5

Vegas Spread: Phi -4

Starting with the Cavs, they have a bit of a new look here tonight, as Caris LeVert has joined the squad, and Darius Garland missed last game, if he misses again tonight LeVert will be in for another good game even in a tougher matchup. Jarrett Allen has a tougher matchup here, and I much prefer Evan Mobley here as he draws the better matchup. Kevin Love is still seeing big minutes off the bench, as did Rajon Rondo, but he’ll be a much better value if Garland misses. Lastly, Isaac Okoro saw 30+ last game as well and he’s cheap on both sites but he isn’t a high usage guy.

Now for the 76ers, the obvious top play here is going to be Joel Embiid, as this is a statement game that the 76ers will want to win at home, as the Cavs have made a name for themselves in the east so far this year. Tobias Harris is always safe for cash games, but he is priced up to right around 5x value which doesn’t do a lot these days especially in GPPs. Tyrese Maxey has also been on fire lately, and he draws a solid matchup, especially with Harden still out, and with Curry gone it makes him an even better play. Matisse Thybulle and Furkan Korkmaz should both start again here as well and both are viable for value, and if you’re looking to get really deep, Shake Milton played 25 minutes off the bench last night.

5-star play: Joel Embiid, Caris LeVert

4-star play: Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, Kevin Love

Deeper Value: Matisse Thybulle, Furkan Korkmaz, Rajon Rondo, Isaac Okoro

GPP Sleeper: Matisse Thybulle, Rajon Rondo (if Garland is out)

Denver Nuggets @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 222.5

Vegas Spread: Tor -3.5

Starting with the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic is coming off of a string of monster games and there’s no reason that he can’t repeat that in this matchup, the Raptors young frontcourt can’t slow him down and Time Lord did a great job on him last night and he still triple doubled. Will Barton also had a big first half and draws a good matchup here and the Nuggets are still hurting at guard with all the injuries. Bryn Forbes’ role is continuing to increase as well, he is a solid value play here tonight especially if he starts. Monte Morris missed last night, and if he is out again then that make Bones Hyland another great value play tonight if he starts. Facundo Campazzo also played big minutes off the bench, he is a nice pivot off of Hyland.  Aaron Gordon‘s ceiling is gonna be capped as long as Jokic is healthy so he’ll be GPP only for the foreseeable future.

Now for the Raptors, Pascal Siakam has been playing like a mad man the past few weeks, I like him a lot here as Denver is bleeding FPs to opposing 4s as we saw last night with Robert Williams. Fred VanVleet has also been a bit banged up but he should be good to go here and he draws a favorable matchup tonight against what will likely be Hyland or Campazzo. Gary Trent has also been great lately but he is gonna be scoring dependent as long as FVV is healthy, but he had a monster game last time out and if FVV misses he’ll be a great play. OG Anunoby and Scottie Barnes are both viable here as well, although the two eat into each other’s upside so I wouldn’t pair them, I like Barnes as he is cheaper. If you want to get really deep, Precious Achiuwa is their main big and I’ll have a few shares if he starts.

5-star play: Nikola Jokic, Pascal Siakam

4-star play: Will Barton, Fred VanVleet, Gary Trent, OG Anunoby, Scottie Barnes

Deeper Value: Bones Hyland, Precious Achiuwa, Facundo Campazzo

GPP Sleeper: Facundo Campazzo

Brooklyn Nets @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total: 219.5

Vegas Spread: Mia -11

Starting with the Nets, Kyrie Irving will be a premier play here tonight as James Harden is gone and KD is still out so he’ll run this Brooklyn offense. Blake Griffin saw 30 minutes last game with Aldridge out, and he’s out again tonight as well so Griffin should see big minutes again tongiht as well. Patty Mills, Kessler Edwards and James Johnson have all been starting as well, they’ll be some guys I target in GPPs and if you want to get really deep, Cam Thomas also started over Johnson last game, he can fill it up in a hurry if he gets hot as well.

Now for the Heat, Jimmy Butler has a really solid matchup here as the Nets are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA against SFs and with Kyle Lowry back he’ll slide back over there. Lowry has a solid matchup here as well and he’s decently priced and he had a monster game the other night.  Bam Adebayo has been back as well and he’s been great, he draws a premier matchup as the Nets don’t have anyone that can contain him. PJ Tucker is a deep flier you can take as well in this matchup but not someone I’m seeking out like ever, especially on a big slate like this. Max Strus would be viable if he starts here as well, he’s taken over Duncan Robinson’s role here as their 3PT specialist and he’s pretty cheap on both sites as well. I actually like him more if he comes off the bench here as he could see blowout run. Tyler Herro is also in play here, but his ceiling takes a hit when Butler and Lowry are both back.

5-star play: Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler

4-star play: Blake Griffin, Patty Mills, James Johnson, Cam Thomas, Kyle Lowry, Bam Adebayo

Deeper Value: Max Strus, PJ Tucker, Tyler Herro, Cam Thomas

GPP Sleeper: Cam Thomas

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: 220.5

Vegas Spread: Chi -13

Starting with the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is gonna be out until after the All-Star break so this makes this Thunder team even harder to target as he was their main source of offense. Josh Giddey is super consistent as well for a rookie, and he contributes in all categories which is nice as well, he is a solid play as his minutes should be blowout proof here. If you’re looking to get deeper, Ty Jerome, and Darius Bazley are also all in play here for value as this OKC team is gonna have a lot of usage leftover with Shai out. If you’re really looking to get different Aleksej Pokusevski played 30 minutes last game and he should see more minutes tonight,  Derrick Favors played 28 minutes last last night so I doubt he does that again here at his age. Both are deeper plays tonight in GPPs, especially if Isaiah Roby ends up starting here as he is back.

Now for the Bulls, they are gonna be a bit short handed again here tonight, as Lonzo Ball is still out here. Zach LaVine has been playing very well, and he’s decently cheap on both sites given his upside with Ball out. Nikola Vucevic and DeMar Derozan will be in for huge usage although this is a great matchup for the Bulls, especially if OKC can keep this game semi-close. Ayo Dosunmu is also in play here as he’ll start at the PG and he’s great at getting his teammates involved. Coby White is also in play as he is seeing nearly 30 minutes off the bench and running their second unit. He could feast here if this game blows out.

5-star play: Josh Giddey, Zach LaVine

4-star play: Nikola Vucevic, DeMar Derozan, Darius Bazley

Deeper Value: Derrick Favors, Isaiah Roby, Ty Jerome, Ayo Dosunmu

GPP Sleeper: Coby White

Los Angeles Clippers @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: 214.5

Vegas Spread: Dal -7

Starting with the Clippers, they haven’t been a great team to target from a fantasy perspective, but we’ll dive in here. Norman Powell has kind of taken over here for Amir Coffey and Marcus Morris is seeing big minutes as well, those will be your two main targets here tonight. Ivica Zubac is gonna be in a tougher spot here, but he’s been solid and this Clippers team is surprisingly decent with all the comebacks they have this year. Overall I won’t be targeting this Clippers team much, but Reggie Jackson can light it up from time to time, and Terance Mann has shown upside at times as well, but he’s a deeper MME type play. Lastly, Isaiah Hartenstein should see solid minutes here with Serge Ibaka gone now as well.

Now for the Mavericks, the obvious play here is going to be Luka Doncic, as KP is gone and Hardaway is also likely out here. Jalen Brunson will also see a big uptick in usage with KP and Hardaway out, he may be a core play here tonight depending on how things shake out. Reggie Bullock has also been playing big minutes with Hardaway out and he is a decent value here. Outside of those guys I won’t really be targeting any of the Mavs unless we get word that its a Boban night. But if you want to get really deep, Maxi Kleber should start and see solid minutes.

5-star play: Luka Doncic

4-star play: Jalen Brunson, Norman Powell, Marcus Morris, Reggie Jackson

Deeper Value: Reggie Bullock, Maxi Kleber, Isaiah Hartenstein

GPP Sleeper: Isaiah Hartenstein

Los Angeles Lakers @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total: 224

Vegas Spread: Gsw -6.5

Now for the Lakers, both Anthony Davis and LeBron James are both probable here, either could break the slate tonight especially in a matchup like this, but I like LeBron more. Russell Westbrook is also going to be in play here, but his usage takes a major hit with both of those guys likely to play and he hasn’t been playing the 4th quarter. Malik Monk is playing huge minutes, and they’re high on him as well, as am I in GPPs here tonight. Trevor Ariza is also seeing big minutes off the bench, he’s a decent value here as is Stanley Johnson who is hanging onto his starting role. That’s about all I want to touch from this Lakers squad though. Ariza and Johnson have been swapping that starting role, with Ariza likely being the one who starts tonight.

Now for the Warriors, it looks like Draymond will be out again here, but Steph Curry could be a slate breaker here, as he is looking to get his shot back after a string of horrible performances, he can be a slate breaker here and a guy I’ll take a few shots on here given how bad the Lakers are against PGs. Otto Porter is likely going to be out again here, which makes Andrew Wiggins playable here as the Warriors are pretty banged up right now. Kevon Looney should also see big minutes here as the Warriors are really hurting for bodies in their frontcourt. Klay Thompson’s minutes are also trending in the right direction, and with all these guys out he could be a slate breaker as well especially if he can get north of 30 minutes. If you’re looking to get really deep, Jonathan Kuminga started last game and he should see some solid minutes at the 4 here tonight as well.

5-star play: Anthony Davis, LeBron James

4-star play: Russell Westbrook, Malik Monk, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins

Deeper Value: Jonathan Kuminga, Kevon Looney, Trevor Ariza, Stanley Johnson

GPP Sleeper: Klay Thompson, Malik Monk

Orlando Magic @ Phoenix Suns

Vegas Total: 225

Vegas Spread: Phx -16

Starting with the Magic, Cole Anthony has been playing very well, he makes for an interesting play tonight but it is a tougher matchup here going up against CP3. Jalen Suggs has also been performing very well and he’s a nice mid range option here too but again, the matchup is tough. Mo Bamba is still very cheap on FanDuel and has flashed 50+ upside, and this matchup is solid for him as well. Wendell Carter has also been super consistent but he’s just a bit too pricey for me to love him here tonight. Lastly, Franz Wagner has lit it up at times, but with the Magic basically at full strength his usage does drop off but this spread is already huge which is tough to love anyone from this game.

Now for the Suns, Devin Booker has been on fire and that hasn’t changed over the past few games, he is a great GPP option here especially if this game can stay close. Chris Paul is also in play here but his price is sky high with his recent success, the production has been there though to justify it. Mikal Bridges is also in play here as well but he has good upside and he’ll be low owned, but the floor is low as well. Jae Crowder is in play here, but he’s still a GPP play at best and not really someone I’m targeting too heavily tonight. Deandre Ayton should also be banging it out downlow with Mo all night, he’s in play for GPPs as well. Lastly, Cameron Payne missed last night, and if you’re looking to get really deep, Elfrid Payton should see around 20-25 minutes off the bench and is near minimum on both sites, he could be a slate breaker if this game gets ugly.

5-star play: Devin Booker

4-star play: Chris Paul, Cole Anthony, Jalen Suggs, Wendell Carter, Franz Wagner, Deandre Ayton, Mo Bamba

Deeper Value: Jae Crowder, Elfrid Payton

GPP Sleeper: Elfrid Payton
