1/24 NBA DFS Full Court Press
Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Steve aka @Mutt18 on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. We also have NEW pricing options, where you can sign up for WEEKLY access as opposed to be committed for a full month, so you have no excuse to try us out! With that said, let’s get it started!

New York Knicks @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Vegas Total: 203.5
Vegas Spread: Cle -7
Starting with the Knicks, some value may open up here depending on the health of Kemba Walker, if he is in then he would likely start, if he misses then Immanuel Quickley and Alec Burks would see the biggest boosts. We also may see Cam Reddish make his debut here, he is decently priced on both sites and should make an immediate impact. Julius Randle is still the core of this team and gets a good matchup against this young CLE frontcourt, and Mitchell Robinson has also been on a tear recently, but he is still very volatile so he’s a GPP only play. RJ Barrett has also been heating up as well and he is decently priced on all sites, but he is more of a cash type play.
Now for the Cavs, Darius Garland has been on an absolute hot streak the past week or so, and the Knicks have been a bottom 10 team against PGs all year long, he’ll be a premier play tonight. Jarrett Allen is their #2 guy on offense and he should have a field day against this Knicks front court, as should Evan Mobley, both are great plays here tonight for sure even though this isn’t going to be a high scoring game. Lauri Markkanen continues to be productive, but his usage takes a hit with both those guys healthy, plus Isaac Okoro has returned as well which muddies the waters. If you’re looking to get deeper, Lamar Stevens has been starting as well, but he is a GTD tonight so you’ll need to key an eye on news.
5-star play: Julius Randle, Darius Garland
4-star play: Alec Burks, RJ Barrett, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley
Deeper Value: Lauri Markkanen, Mitchell Robinson, Cam Reddish (if he plays)
GPP Sleeper: Lamar Stevens, Immanuel Quickley
Indiana Pacers @ New Orleans Pelicans
Vegas Total: 214
Vegas Spread: Nop -1.5
Starting with the Pacers, they will be missing a few guys here, as Sabonis and Turner are both already out. Malcolm Brogdon will be the big news here, as he’s been nursing that achilles injury for a few months now, if he were to miss, then Caris LeVert would dominate usage as I expect him to be back. If Brog does miss then it makes Keifer Sykes a nice value here, even coming off the bench, Duane Washington would also be in line for solid minutes if LeVert were to miss. Chris Duarte should smash here as well at his price, he played 39 minutes last game and he should do so again here. Torrey Craig and Justin Holiday are going to be forced into big minutes as well and both are cheap here. If you’re looking to get really deep, Jeremy Lamb is a nice minimum priced option. Goga Bitadze will also have to see solid minutes at the 5 here but they’ve caught up on his pricing.
Now for the Pelicans, Jonas Valanciunas has the best matchup here, as Goga is pretty unproven in that frontcourt defensively. Brandon Ingram has also been heating up, and he’s a nice mid-range option here tonight. Josh Hart has also been extremely productive and this would be a good matchup for him, especially if LeVert is back as he is really bad defensively. Herbert Jones is going to be in play here as well on a small slate, but he is not someone I’ll be forcing into my lineups. Lastly, Devonte’ Graham is a GTD here, if he were to miss it would make Tomas Satoransky a solid value play, but we need news on that first.
5-star play: Jonas Valanciunas, Caris LeVert (if Brog out)
4-star play: Chris Duarte, Goga Bitadze, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram
Deeper Value: Herbert Jones, Tomas Satoransky, Jeremy Lamb, Torrey Craig
GPP Sleeper: Jeremy Lamb

Chicago Bulls @ Oklahoma City Thunder
Vegas Total: 215
Vegas Spread: Chi -2
Starting with the Bulls, they’re going to be a bit shorthanded again here as they have big injuries to guys like Lonzo Ball and Zach LaVine. Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu have been filling in those starting roles, both are viable on a small slate but they are no longer the same value they were a few games ago. Nikola Vucevic draws the best matchup here, as OKC doesn’t have anyone that can contain him in this one. DeMar Derozan has also been playing a lot at the 4 and he’ll draw a solid matchup here tonight as well. Outside of those guys though, this Bulls team is pretty limited from a fantasy perspective as the rest are all low usage players with Caruso out as well.
Now for the Thunder, they’re not a very fantasy friendly team in that they really only have 2-3 main guys that contribute most of the fantasy points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is by far their best fantasy producer and he could be in store for a big game here tonight especially with all the injuries to the Bulls back court. Josh Giddey also contributes in all categories so the floor is safe, and he’s shown some nice flashes of triple double upside already this year and is a very good play on a small slate. Luguentz Dort is another guy that has insane upside from time to time, but he gets there once in a blue moon and is a GPP only play here. If you’re looking to get really different, Darius Bazley and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl are both deep MME value plays you can get to on a small slate like this.
5-star play: Nikola Vucevic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
4-star play: Josh Giddey, DeMar Derozan, Coby White
Deeper Value: Ayo Dosunmu, Luguentz Dort, Darius Bazley
GPP Sleeper: Josh Giddey
Utah Jazz @ Phoenix Suns
Vegas Total: TBD
Vegas Spread: TBD
Starting with the Jazz, the big news here will be whether or not Donovan Mitchell will suit up here, as the lack of total and spread makes me think that Vegas isn’t even sure if he’ll play. If he does play he is obviously in play here on a small slate and would kill a lot of the value on this Jazz team. If he does miss, Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson would see the biggest boosts here as well. Rudy Gobert also went down with an injury last game and if he were to miss, Hassan Whiteside is out as well, that would force them to go small and Rudy Gay would be a premier value play on this slate. Bojan Bogdanovic and Royce O’Neale would also see boosts as they’d be tasked with more offensively. Lastly, if Mitchell misses, Joe Ingles becomes viable but he has been very spotty for production even in good matchups the past week or so.
Now for the Suns, Chris Paul is gonna be your safest bet here, as he’s been really solid in all aspects even with how boring this game should be. Devin Booker has also been on fire the past week or so, and I don’t expect that to change in this matchup especially if Mitchell is out again tonight. Mikal Bridges has nice GPP upside as he showed in their last game and if you think that this game gets ugly, then Bismack Biyombo and Cameron Payne will be your main targets. Both have been productive off the bench but this Suns team is definitely not very fantasy friendly.
5-star play: Devin Booker, Rudy Gay (if Gobert misses)
4-star play: Mike Conley, Chris Paul, Jordan Clarkson, Bojan Bogdanovic
Deeper Value: Royce O’Neale, Joe Ingles, Cameron Payne
GPP Sleeper: Rudy Gay
