1/22 NBA DFS Full Court Press
Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Steve aka @Mutt18 on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. Sacramento Kings @ Milwaukee Bucks
Vegas Total: 232.5
Vegas Spread: Mil -9.5
Now this is a game that we’ll want to target here, as this is the highest total on a small slate and I think it stays competitive. The only issue I have is that the Kings have so many guards that its almost a dart throw as to who is going to have the big game. The big news here will be on the health of Tyrese Haliburton, if he is out then it opens up a ton for both De’Aaron Fox and Terence Davis. Harrison Barnes has also picked up his play the last few games, and Richaun Holmes is coming back nicely and should be ready for full run soon. For value, Davion Mitchell is getting some solid playing time, and Buddy Hield has been on fire off the bench, I like both of them in GPPs here as well especially where the Bucks don’t defend the 3PT line well.
Jrue Holiday has returned for the Bucks as he started last night, but it’ll be interesting to see what they do here as they could rest him on the 2nd half of a B2B, so keep an eye on news there. Khris Middleton has been on fire as of late, and he would see the biggest boost if Jrue were to sit this one out. Giannis Antetokounmpo will be your obvious target here, as he leads this offense and has 70+ upside in a matchup like this. Bobby Portis has also looked great and this Kings frontcourt is horrible at defending opposing bigs. Grayson Allen got ejected last night, but he would be in play here as long as he isn’t suspended, if he were to miss then I’d take a few shots on Pat Connaughton.
5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, De’Aaron Fox
4-star play: Khris Middleton, Terence Davis, Harrison Barnes, Buddy Hield, Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis
Deeper Value: Grayson Allen, Pat Connaughton, Davion Mitchell
GPP Sleeper: Terence Davis
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Vegas Total: 209
Vegas Spread: Cle -12.5
Starting with the Thunder, they’re not a very fantasy friendly team in that they really only have 2-3 main guys that contribute most of the fantasy points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is by far their best fantasy producer and he could be in store for a big game here tonight. Josh Giddey also contributes in all categories so the floor is safe, and he’s shown some nice flashes of triple double upside already this year. Luguentz Dort is another guy that has insane upside from time to time, but he gets there once in a blue moon and is a GPP only play here. If you’re looking to get really different, Darius Bazley and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl are both deep MME value plays you can get to on a small slate like this.
Now for the Cavs, Darius Garland has been on an absolute hot streak the past week or so, and the Thunder are allowing over 60 FPPG to opposing PGs over their last 7 games, he’ll be a premier play tonight. Jarrett Allen is their #2 guy on offense and he should have a field day against this OKC front court, as should Evan Mobley, both are great plays here tonight for sure. Lauri Markkanen continues to be productive, but his usage takes a hit with both those guys healthy, plus Isaac Okoro has returned as well which muddies the waters. If you’re looking to get deeper, Lamar Stevens has been starting as well, but he is a GTD tonight so you’ll need to key an eye on news.
5-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Darius Garland
4-star play: Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, Josh Giddey, Lu Dort
Deeper Value: Lauri Markkanen, Lamar Stevens, Isaac Okoro
GPP Sleeper: Darius Bazley, Evan Mobley

Indiana Pacers @ Phoenix Suns
Vegas Total: 219
Vegas Spread: Phx -12.5
Now for the night cap, the Pacers will be missing a few guys here, as Sabonis and Turner are both already out. Malcolm Brogdon will be the big news here, as he’s been nursing that achilles injury for a few months now, if he were to miss, then Caris LeVert would dominate usage as I expect him to be back after resting the other night. If Brog does miss then it makes Keifer Sykes a nice value here, even coming off the bench as this game could get ugly. Chris Duarte should smash here as well at his price, he played 39 minutes last game and he should do so again here. Torrey Craig and Justin Holiday are going to be forced into big minutes as well and both are cheap here. If you’re looking to get really deep, Jeremy Lamb is a nice minimum priced option. Goga Bitadze will also have to see solid minutes at the 5 here but they’ve caught up on his pricing.
Now for the Suns, Chris Paul is gonna be your safest bet here, as he’s been really solid in all aspects even if this game gets ugly. Devin Booker has also been on fire the past week or so, and I don’t expect that to change in this matchup. Mikal Bridges has nice GPP upside as he showed in their last game and if you think that this game gets ugly, then Bismack Biyombo and Cameron Payne will be your main targets. Both have been productive off the bench but this Suns team is definitely not very fantasy friendly.

4-star play: Chris Duarte, Chris Paul, Malcolm Brogdon, Caris LeVert, Goga Bitadze
Deeper Value: Bismack Biyombo, Cameron Payne, Justin Holiday, Torrey Craig
