Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Mike aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!
Milwaukee Bucks @ Charlotte Hornets
Vegas Total: 235.0
Vegas Spread: Cha -2.5
We saw this matchup on Saturday, so we have a little data to go off of here. Starting with Milwaukee, they’ll be without Jrue Holiday and Grayson Allen again here whereas Pat Connaughton is questionable and Donte DiVincenzo sounds like he’ll be good to go. We saw Giannis Antetokounmpo get the start at point guard again with Holiday out, but may change tonight as they get a few bodies back, but this won’t impact his fantasy viability for me. He gets an elite matchup tonight against a Hornets team that he’s averaging 69.75 DraftKings points per game in two games against them this season. We should expect more ball-handling for Khris Middleton again with Holiday out. He has a 31.0% usage rate and 1.21 fantasy points per minute on the season with Holiday off of the court. Bobby Portis has been in great form as of late with at least 40 DraftKings points in back-to-back games, he still feels a few hundred dollars too cheap here, especially on FanDuel. Then we can round this team out with Jordan Nwora who I think gets a pretty big downgrade with DiVincenzo and potentially Connaughton coming back, he’ll lose his minutes security at the very least. From the Hornets, LaMelo Ball had a massive game in this spot earlier in the season and looked pretty solid in this one on Saturday. I would have no issue going right back to the well on him with a pretty nice price tag. I still like the price tag on Miles Bridges as well, he looked good last time out and has been one of the more consistent options on this Hornets team this season. Terry Rozier is known to be a Bucks killer ever since his Boston days, and we saw it again last time out where he went for 45 DraftKings points, you can go back to the well on him again here. Gordon Hayward would be more of a tournament guy for me due to the volatility he can show, but in a game with this kind of implied total, I wouldn’t talk you off of him for going there in cash either. Then we can round the Hornets out with Kelly Oubre Jr. and PJ Washington as GPP options, but definitely a game you’ll want to have some exposure to.
5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis, LaMelo Ball
4-star play: Khris Middleton, Miles Bridges, Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward
Deeper Value: Wesley Matthews
GPP Sleeper: Wesley Matthews, Donte DiVincenzo, Pat Connaughton, Kelly Oubre Jr., PJ Washington, Mason Plumlee

Utah Jazz @ Detroit Pistons
Vegas Total: 223.0
Vegas Spread: Utah -12.0
Starting with the Jazz, they got a bunch of their guys back last time out but will continue to be without Rudy Gobert, Rudy Gay, and Joe Ingles again here. With Gobert out, I would expect we get Hassan Whiteside starting again, and has been one of the chalkier guys on the slate for the past two slates he’s been on. DraftKings finally got his price adjusted so he’s not in the $3k range anymore but I do still think he’s viable again here. With Gobert off of the court this season, Whiteside has an 18.5% usage rate and 1.21 fantasy points per minute. He had a down game last time out because of some foul trouble but this is a great matchup to go right back to him. The matchup is nice for Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley as well, Mitchell is coming off of a 50 burger last time out and will look to keep it going here. Then we can label Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson, and Royce O’Neale as more GPP-type players. From the Pistons, they’re finally looking healthier as a lot of the guys in health and safety protocols returned over the weekend, but they’ll still be without Jerami Grant and Kelly Olynyk for sure. We can start with two obvious fades for me again in Hamidou Diallo and Saddiq Bey, they’re just outpriced relative to their median production with a healthier team but if you want to take a flyer and get some sprinkles in 150, I suppose you can do that. Cade Cunningham isn’t in the best form relative to his price tag but we know the minutes and upside will be there, so I don’t mind taking some shots on him in tournaments. Trey Lyles continues to look good and hasn’t been impacted by Isaiah Stewart returning at all. They’ll both get a nice boost here with Gobert out for the Jazz. Speaking of Isaiah Stewart, he’s still only around 20 minutes since returning from the Covind list, so still, probably more of a GPP guy until we see those minutes fully come back. I do worry about conditioning for some of these big men as they come back from Covid. Then the rest of this team is mostly tournament plays for me as well, I did have some interest in Killian Hayes last time out, but those minutes he was seeing will become more volatile with this team getting healthier.
5-star play: Hassan Whiteside, Donovan Mitchell
4-star play: Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic, Cade Cunningham, Trey Lyles
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Jordan Clarkson, Royce O’Neale, Trey Lyles, Isaiah Stewart, Killian Hayes, Josh Jackson
Indiana Pacers @ Boston Celtics
Vegas Total: 215.5
Vegas Spread: Bos -5.5
Starting with the Pacers, Caris LeVert and Malcolm Brogdon both come in as questionable here, I’ll operate under the assumption that both of these guys are out again for the Pacers, but obviously, keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates. Domantas Sabonis continues to look good with these guys out and has at least 57 DraftKings points in four of his last five games and a guy I like quite a bit here. We should continue to get Keifer Sykes starting at point guard assuming Brogdon is out again and would be a guy I have no problem going back to. He has a 16.7% usage rate and 0.76 fantasy points per minute over the past two weeks and looks like a solid mid-range option. I can’t seem to get Myles Turner right this season but will continue to be a tournament guy as we know the volatility that comes along with him. Then Chris Duarte returned last game but came off of the bench with Duane Washington Jr. getting the start again, I’ll be off of Duarte unless he’s back in the starting lineup personally. The last guy we have to mention from the Pacers is Lance Stephenson, he has at least 40 DraftKings points in back-to-back games and should continue to play big minutes assuming these guys are out again, he’d be a solid GPP option. From Boston, Jayson Tatum came back down to Earth last time out against the Knicks but is a guy I don’t mind going right back to against a poor defense. Jaylen Brown continues to look great but I don’t know why I feel so gross playing him at this price tag. I’ll consider him more of a GPP option but one of these guys should have himself a nice game here. The price feels high on Robert Williams but he keeps paying it off and the minutes have been more consistent for him with at least 32 minutes in four straight games. Al Horford has been the more volatile piece as of late and would be more of a secondary guy for me again here. Then we can round the Celtics out with Dennis Schroder and Marcus Smart as tournament options in a slow-paced game.
***Assuming Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert are OUT again***
5-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Jayson Tatum
4-star play: Keifer Sykes, Lance Stephenson, Myles Turner, Jaylen Brown, Robert Williams, Marcus Smart
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Chris Duarte, Lance Stephenson, Myles Turner, Dennis Schroder, Al Horford
San Antonio Spurs @ New York Knicks
Vegas Total: 212.5
Vegas Spread: Nyk -6.5
Starting with the Spurs, they’ll be without Derrick White, Keldon Johnson, and Devin Vassell again here. Dejounte Murray has found some consistency since he’s returned with a 50 burger in three straight games and will look like a good option again here as he’ll need to continue to carry this team. Lonnie Walker should stand to benefit with these guys being out and we saw that last game where he played 33 minutes on his way to a nice game, he looks like a nice value option here. Jakob Poeltl will be a solid mid-range center option if you need one as well, he’s been in good form as of late. Then guys like Bryn Forbes, Keita Bates-Diop, and Josh Primo look like fine GPP value options if you happen to land on them again. From the Knicks, Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier come into this one as questionable, so keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates on their statuses. Julius Randle has been all over the place as of late but his price tag is finally at a more playable range, he looks like a nice GPP option due to the minutes we know he’ll see. RJ Barrett had a nice bounce-back game last time out and looks like a good option here although I would prefer at least one of Kemba or Fournier to be out again. Alec Burks has at least 34 minutes in three straight games but is similar to Barrett, I would want Kemba out again to make Burks viable. Then guys like Mitchell Robinson and Immanuel Quickley are fine MME-type plays on a shorter slate.
***The below assumes Kemba Walker is OUT again***
5-star play: Dejounte Murray
4-star play: RJ Barrett, Alec Burks, Julius Randle, Lonnie Walker, Jakob Poeltl
Deeper Value: Josh Primo
GPP Sleeper: Mitchell Robinson, Immanuel Quickley, Evan Fournier, Bryn Forbes, Keita Bates-Diop, Josh Primo
I wanted to give a quick shoutout to VIP member “GhostfaceKillaa” on his $30k win earlier in the season. A pivot to Curry off the chalky Doncic was the key for him, congrats man!
Philadelphia 76ers @ Houston Rockets
Vegas Total: 226.5
Vegas Spread: Phi -10.5
Starting with the Sixers, they’ll be without Tyrese Maxey and Shake Milton again here so we should expect more point guard duties for Seth Curry. With these two off of the court this season Curry is looking at a 23% usage rate and just about 1.0 fantasy points per minute which is a nice boost from his normal rates. Joel Embiid had a massive game against this Rockets team not too long ago going for 67 FanDuel points and looks like a nice spend-up option again here. I don’t have any issue getting to Tobias Harris here but I think we can do better in this price range on a decently sized slate tonight. Lastly, we should see Furkan Korkmaz join the starting lineup again with Maxey and Milton out, and looks like a fine mid-range option, he’s played at least 33 minutes in three straight games. From the Rockets, I was all over Christian Wood last night and he had a pretty solid game, this is a much tougher matchup for him but I do like the price tag. Probably more of a tournament option but the price tag makes him viable in all formats. The price tag will continue to look good on Kevin Porter Jr. as well, he’s been a bit more volatile so probably more of a tournament option on him as well. Jae’Sean Tate is never a sexy option, but fine nonetheless if you happen to land on him. Then guys like Jalen Green and Eric Gordon are fine MME-type players if you want to get some exposure.
5-star play: Joel Embiid
4-star play: Seth Curry, Tobias Harris, Furkan Korkmaz, Christian Wood, Kevin Porter Jr., Jae’Sean Tate
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Furkan Korkmaz, Jalen Green, Eric Gordon, Kevin Porter Jr.
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Sacramento Kings

Starting with the Cavs, Darius Garland had a rough go of it last night against the Warriors but gets one of the better bounce-back matchups you could ask for. I don’t love the price tag but I could see getting some exposure to him here. Jarrett Allen had a rough game last night as well but came in in good form, I have no issue going right back to the well on him again here. Evan Mobley has been a pretty consistent mid-30’s producer as of late and looks like a solid option at this price tag as well in a great matchup. Kevin Love would be more of a GPP guy due to the minutes volatility as we saw with just 14 minutes last night, but is an elite per-minute producer when he gets the run. Then we can round this team out with Lauri Markkanen as a tournament option as well. From the Kings, De’Aaron Fox had a rough game last night, but most of this team did as they got blown out by a shorthanded Blazers team. He came into that game in good form, I would have no issue going back to him in tournaments. Tyrese Haliburton had a solid game and we know the minutes will be there for him, he’s a good secondary option should you land in his price range. Richaun Holmes comes in as questionable which will be important for guys like Alex Len, Chimezie Metu, and Marvin Bagley so keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates surrounding him. Then we can round this Kings team out with Buddy Hield and Harrison Barnes in tournaments.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton
Deeper Value: Alex Len if starting
GPP Sleeper: Lauri Markkanen, Kevin Love, Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes, Marvin Bagley
Brooklyn Nets @ Portland Trailblazers
Vegas Total: 229.0
Vegas Spread: Bkn -11.5
Starting with the Nets, it sounds like the big three will all be active here as Kevin Durant and James Harden won’t be rested on the second half of a back-to-back. With all three of these guys active, it will be hard for me to make any of them a priority but I would be fine if you were to land on them in tournaments. In Kyrie Irving’s debut, he played 32 minutes on his way to 38.75 DraftKings points, so he shouldn’t be limited at all. The rest of this team would be flyers as well with Durant, Harden, and Irving soaking up most of the usage. Then we can round out the slate with the Blazers, they’ll be without Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Larry Nance Jr., and Norman Powell here. We saw Ben McLemore get the start last night and should continue to start tonight and looks like a solid value option. Anfernee Simons will continue to look like a great option as well, he has a 29.2% usage rate and 1.06 fantasy points per minute with Lillard and McCollum off of the court this season. I was all over Jusuf Nurkic last night and he dropped a 50 burger on the Kings, I wouldn’t have any issue going right back to him here as the minutes have been more consistent with at least 31 minutes in four of his last five games. Then guys like Nassir Little and Robert Covington should get all the minutes they can handle here and look like solid secondary pieces.
5-star play: Anfernee Simons
4-star play: James Harden, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Jusuf Nurkic, Ben McLemore, Nassir Little, Robert Covington
Deeper Value: Ben McLemore
GPP Sleeper: Patty Mills, LaMarcus Aldridge, Dennis Smith Jr.

NBA Lock of the Day: Lonnie Walker IV (DK – $4.2k; FD – $4.4k)
Lonnie Walker isn’t a sexy name for DFS standards, but he’s firmly in play tonight and a guy I plan on getting a bunch of at this price tag. The Spurs will be without Derrick White, Keldon Johnson, and Devin Vassell again tonight which will secure Walker’s minutes. He scored 39.75 DraftKings points in 33 minutes last time out against the Nets and a guy I like quite a bit tonight. At this point in the day, I would think he makes my core, but check out our VIP Cheat Sheets as we get closer to lock for staff picks on Core plays, 8x locks of the day, and tiers notes as well!
